Vincent Margera

Vincent Roy Margera (July 3, 1956 – November 15, 2015), more commonly known as Don Vito, was an American reality television personality and registered sex offender. Margera was known for his appearances in Viva La Bam, Jackass, Haggard and the CKY videos alongside his nephew Bam.

Early life

Margera was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and raised in Concord Township, the son of Darlene (née Stauffer) and Phillip Margera. He was unmarried and lived in a home formerly owned by his brother in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he had moved in the early 2000s.

Career

He became known after appearing as a regular on the MTV television series Viva La Bam, where he was commonly referred to as "Don Vito," a nickname given to him by his nephew Bam. The nickname referred to his near unintelligible speech reminiscent of Don Vito Corleone, of The Godfather, as well as saluting the Margera family's Italian heritage. He had previously appeared in sketches and videos with his family, most of whom were released as part of the CKY series and some later featured in Jackass.

Vito

Vito is an Italian name that is derived from the Latin word "vita", meaning "life",. It is a modern form of the Latin name "Vitus", meaning "life-giver," as in Saint Vitus, the patron saint of dogs and a heroic figure in southern Italian folklore. The Name "Vito" is unrelated to, yet still often confused with, the German name "Wido," which is derived from Ancient Germanic, and the Slavic name "Vitomir" which is sometimes shortened to "Vito" but has a completely different root in the Proto-Slavic word "vit" meaning "ruler".

Joey blasts the instructor dead with his shotgun. Panicked, the youngsters flee into the woods. By nightfall, they regain their composure and plot a war to survive. The predators become the prey, no match in their silk suits and designer shoes against a vengeful band determined to wipe them out by primitive means.

Saudi Arabia arrests 11 princes in anti-corruption sweep

Riyadh. Saudi Arabia has announced the arrest of 11 princes including prominent billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, following the formation of an anti-corruption committee by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, media reports said on Sunday. The announcement of the arrests was made on Saturday on Al Arabiya, the Saudi-owned satellite network. Along with the 11 princes, three ministers were removed from their positions....
