Set in London in 1921, Florence Cathcart (Rebecca Hall), author of the popular book "Seeing Through Ghosts," has devoted her career to exposing claims of the supernatural as nothing but hoaxes. Haunted by the recent death of her fiance, she is approached by Robert Mallory (Dominic West) to investigate the recent death of a student at the all-boys boarding school where he teaches. When students at the school report sightings of the young boy's ghost, she decides to take on the case. Initially, the mystery surrounding the ghost appears nothing more than a schoolboy prank, but as Florence continues to investigate events at the school, she begins to believe that her reliance on science may not be enough to explain the strange phenomenon going on around her. Genre: Horror/Mystery/Supernatural/...

I’ve had to label this track under the aegis of Twelve Cubic Feet because there exists an abysmal dreary American pop outfit also called Exhibit A; since they are more recent and fairly well known, I seek to avoid confusion with this outfit. Exhibit A were a quartet from north west London and Middlesex who released a 4 track 7” EP in 1979 called No Elephants This Side Of Watford Gap, a 3 track 7” EP in 1980 called Distance and 2 tracks on a compilation album in 1980 called The Thing From The Crypt. This is taken from that first EP...not one of their finest moments, to be honest, but then the group were young teenagers at the time and (sadly) the punk influence still prevailed although (thankfully) only slightly and not for much longer. After the dissolution of the group, Rosen, Vosburgh ...

After the dissolution of Exhibit A, 3 of their members (Rosen, Vosburgh and Bynghall) joined forces with a trio of young women and formed Twelve Cubic Feet, easily one of the most inventive and enjoyable pop groups of the 1980s. Their delightful counterpoint and memorable melodies would add a bright Casio VL Tone driven splash of colour to the grim and dreary antisocial scene that constituted the murky morass of punk rock that afflicted the nation at this time. I deliberately arranged a brace of concerts for this splendid ensemble in various venues so The Apostles could appear before them. This achieved 2 purposes: it advertised the group to a wider audience and our presence on the stage before them announced our total disregard to and separation from all that punk junk with which we were...
