Official Trailer: Killey's Wall of Text 0:15 - Looks like a new target combo s.Forward~s.RH. I thought it might have been funky kicks but he special cancels out of it later on in the trailer. 0:17 - j.Forward (cross up), b+Fierce xx RH Tatsu. I'm speculating two things here. He's got a command normal with that fierce punch after the cross up because there's no proximity normals in the game. I'm guessing it's b+Fierce. The next speculation is that his Tatsu's are different based on strength just like Nash's Sonic Scythe. I'm guessing this version is his RH tatsu and hits at an upward 45 degree angle. 0:19 - Rolling back throw and forward multi-hit knee throw from SF2 0:23 - Ken's flashing yellow so this is an EX move. Might be a new move or maybe his air tatsu is a dive kick esque move. It launches on hit and puts the opponent in a juggle state. 0:24 - Ken does a small run. Based on that SDCC screen cap this is his V-Skill. However, the screen cap also has him doing his step kick at the end. Might be a case of where tapping/holding MP+MK gives him the run and the other finishes with a step kick. 0:24 - cr.Short, s.Jab, s.Short xx Short Tatsu combo. Key thing to note is that his tatsu causes a knockdown. 0:26 - Standard Hadouken 0:27 - You see the same run at 0:26 but he finishes with the step kick. So I think my theory on his V-Skill is right. 0:28 - His V-Reversal and it doesn't knockdown but most chars are like that. Looks like they're still slow on start up so only good against medium or heavy normals. 0:29 - j.RH, b+Strong~Fierce (target combo) xx V-Trigger, EX Tatsu. Definitely has his Strong~Fierce target combo back but another vid says his target combo is b+Strong~Fierce. It seems like his V-Trigger auto dashes for him maybe? EX Tatsu looks like a powered up version of what I'm guessing is his RH tatsu with that 45 degree angle. EDIT: Confirmed V-Trigger auto dashes based on SDCC build footage. 0:34 - j.Fierce, s.Fierce, s.Strong xx Short Tatsu, EX DP. His V-Trigger is active during this combo since his feet are on fire and short tatsu light Birdie on fire on hit when it didn't at 0:27. I'm assuming his V-Trigger augments his specials like the other characters so that's why his EX DP is basically Shoryureppa. 0:37 - s.Strong~b+Fierce xx EX Fireball xx V-Trigger, s.Forward~s.RH xx EX Fireball. Looks like all of his specials in V-Trigger light the opponent on fire. 0:41 - EX air Tatsu (2 hits), s.Fierce, cr.Forward xx EX Tatsu. His V-Trigger is already activated before the air ex tatsu since his feet are on fire during the s.Fierce portion of the combo. 0:44 - EX air Tatsu (1 hit), V-Skill, cr.Fierce xx V-Trigger, Jab DP, EX DP. Wondering what makes the air EX Tatsu launch on hit and not. Is it just getting the very last part to hit? EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out. Regular EX Air Tatsu launches on hit while V-Trigger EX Air Tatsu hits multiple times and doesn't knockdown on hit allowing you to do that fat combo at 0:44. 0:49 - Critical Art looks pretty much Shinpuu Jinrai Kyaku. 1:06 - Quick glimpse of the next character. If you manage to get a good freeze frame it looks like a completely new character. I'm expecting Evo to announce the character. Gameplay: Sounds like holding down MP+MK (V-Skill) will give Ken his run. Not sure what buttons you need to press to get the step kick or cancel into a different normal like in the trailer. Shoryu's act the same. Jab doesn't go that high and does one hit, Strong does 2 hits travels farther and higher, Fierce travels even farther and fire, is on fire, and does 3 hits. Not sure which one has the most invinci frames on it but if it's like SFIV or SFV Ryu then it's probably his Strong DP. EX DP is like Shoryureppa but it's only two reps. Tatsu's act differently. Short Tatsu is a short spin, hits once, and causes a knockdown on hit, Medium does 2 spins, hits twice, and causes a knockdown, RH tatsu is the 45 degree angle that hits. EX Tatsu also hits at this 45 degree angle and does 4 hits. Air Tatsu travels downwards at an angle. b+Strong~Fierce is his target combo. V-Trigger activation does an auto-dash. Visually it lights Ken's feet on fire and adds more hits to his specials. Also, when his specials hit his opponent is lit on fire. Fierce DP in V-Trigger does 5 hits. Critical Art is qcfx2+K. It's a single strike before it launches into the animation. B+Forward is his overhead kick. Fake Step Kick (F+Hold Forward Kick). Looks like he can do the overhead from this as well but not sure how. Doesn't appear you can kara throw with his f+[MK] or V-Skill. ============================
