The Mother series (Japanese: マザー, Hepburn: Mazā) consists of three Japanese role-playing video games: the 1989 Mother for the Famicom, the 1994 Mother 2 for the Super Famicom, and the 2006 Mother 3 for the Game Boy Advance. Written by Shigesato Itoi and published by Nintendo, and featuring game mechanics modeled on the Dragon Quest series, the Mother series is known for its sense of humor, originality, and parody. Set in a late 20th century United States, the player uses weapons and psychic powers to fight hostile, everyday objects. Signature elements of the series include the lighthearted plots, the battle sequences with psychedelic backgrounds, and the "rolling HP meter": as player health ticks down like an odometer, players can outrun the meter to heal before dying. While the franchise is popular in Japan, in the United States, it is best associated with the cult following behind EarthBound, the 1995 English localization of Mother 2. Itoi is not planning another sequel in the series.
A melody (from Greek μελῳδία, melōidía, "singing, chanting"), also tune, voice, or line, is a linear succession of musical tones that the listener perceives as a single entity. In its most literal sense, a melody is a combination of pitch and rhythm, while more figuratively, the term can include successions of other musical elements such as tonal color. It may be considered the foreground to the background accompaniment. A line or part need not be a foreground melody.
Melodies often consist of one or more musical phrases or motifs, and are usually repeated throughout a composition in various forms. Melodies may also be described by their melodic motion or the pitches or the intervals between pitches (predominantly conjunct or disjunct or with further restrictions), pitch range, tension and release, continuity and coherence, cadence, and shape.
Given the many and varied elements and styles of melody "many extant explanations [of melody] confine us to specific stylistic models, and they are too exclusive." Paul Narveson claimed in 1984 that more than three-quarters of melodic topics had not been explored thoroughly.
A love song is a song about being in love.

DOWNLOAD: http://www.mediafire.com/?ra6szgac7j6fqer I decided to make an arrangement for one of my favorite music pieces. To be honest, Mother 1 is not my favorite of the Mother series, but it is still fantastic and the music in the game is beautiful. Enjoy
Okay, so this is a remix of the Eight Melodies from the game Mother. I am the author of this song. I used FL Studio 6 to make this. It starts off with a lullaby like intro revealing the beginning of the Eight Melodies. Then it becomes a much more lively and upbeat song. I'm actually pretty proud of how this song turned out, and it has gotten pretty popular on Newgrounds. But I wanted more people to hear it so, here it is. mp3 right here: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/121517 click on the floppy disk icon

The 1980 - 1985 Doctor Who theme remastered by moi using Logic Pro 9. Originally produced by Ron Grainer & Delia Derbyshire in 1963. It's widely regarded as a significant and innovative piece of electronic music, recorded well before the availability of commercial synthesisers. Created BBC Radiophonic Workshop used musique concrète techniques. For Season 18, Radiophonic Workshop staffer Peter Howell provided a new arrangement performed on analog synthesisers, and having more dynamic and glossy, but less haunting feel. Its bassline was created on a Yamaha CS-80 synthesiser, with reversed echo added, adding to its characteristic "zshumm" sound and emphasizing especially the bass slides (which are otherwise still more upfront than in the Derbyshire theme). The opening line of the main mel...

Its bassline was created on a Yamaha CS-80 synthesiser, with reversed echo added, creating its characteristic "zshumm" sound. The main melody was played on an ARP Odyssey Mk III.[2] The 1980 arrangement added the sting to the opening theme as well, while the "middle eight" was included in the closing theme arrangement of all episodes. Howell's theme is in the key of F#minor. From Wiki This is my version of the song, with the video and titles also created by myself. BBC © MMX
