Gravity or gravitation is a natural phenomenon by which all things with energy are brought toward (or gravitate toward) one another, including stars, planets, galaxies and even light and sub-atomic particles. Gravity is responsible for many of the structures in the Universe, by creating spheres of hydrogen — where hydrogen fuses under pressure to form stars — and grouping them into galaxies. On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects and causes the tides. Gravity has an infinite range, although its effects become increasingly weaker on farther objects.
Gravity is most accurately described by the general theory of relativity (proposed by Albert Einstein in 1915) which describes gravity not as a force but as a consequence of the curvature of spacetime caused by the uneven distribution of mass/energy; and resulting in gravitational time dilation, where time lapses more slowly in lower (stronger) gravitational potential. However, for most applications, gravity is well approximated by Newton's law of universal gravitation, which postulates that gravity is a force where two bodies of mass are directly drawn (or 'attracted') to each other according to a mathematical relationship, where the attractive force is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This is considered to occur over an infinite range, such that all bodies (with mass) in the universe are drawn to each other no matter how far they are apart.
A gravity gun is a type of device in video games, particularly first-person shooters using an advanced physics engine, whereby players can directly manipulate objects in the world, often allowing them to be used as projectiles against hostile characters. The concept was first popularized by the gravity gun found in Valve's Half-Life 2, as well as the Temporal Uplink found in Free Radical Design's TimeSplitters: Future Perfect; although a similar concept was used by id Software during the production of the earlier game Doom 3, eventually leading to the introduction of a physics-based weapon in the expansion pack Resurrection of Evil. Later games, such as Portal, BioShock, Crysis, and Dead Space, have been influenced by the success of these physics-based weapons, adopting their own styles of comparable abilities or weapons.

This is a demonstration video for the gravity gun on my Gladius Mk. II cruiser (linked below). The target is ten layers of heavy armor, with the outer layer made up of sloped armor. The back face is covered with gravity generators to demonstrate that this design is indeed non-deflectable. One of the things this video shows is that player-made projectiles are not rendered useless by point defense; despite the fire from the turrets, enough of the projectiles make it through that they would damage the interior of any reasonable ship. However, it also shows that point defense is a worthwhile design element: when I tested this with the turrets off, there was a large hole punched clean through the target.
The Canon 5D series of cameras holds a reputation as a robust camera capable of adapting to the most demanding scenarios. However, after waiting four years and a release that garnered more criticism than fanfare - has the new 5D mark IV broken tradition? Instagram: https://instagram.com/fisher604/

This is a mega debunking of a globber vid. This is my second attempt uploading, sorry I pulled the first. It was up for about an hour when I got two copyright claims against the video, after it was up for an hour. It is a four-hour and twenty-minute video (which is odd), containing exactly 1 minute of a feather and ball in a vacuum, which was owned by BBC worldwide. They wanted to monetize my entire 4:20 video because I legally used their (essentially) stock footage. There was another one-minute claim as well, which I have also removed. Enjoy the vid now, but there will be two, one-minute sections that don't have the intended video. I hope this one sticks, cheers and enjoy : P You can support this channel directly to: www.paypal.me/themorgile1 ; or Via PayPal to JonELANCE@gmail.co...

This design is an adaptation of the piston magazine system design by Brenner on the Keen Software House forums. It is designed to be the main armament of a very large vessel (~25,000 metric tons); as such, using it against the stock red ship is a bit much in terms of overkill. However, since just about anyone who plays Space Engineers is familiar with Red 1, it provides a useful point of comparison. I am very pleased to report that my inspection of the weapon after this test firing showed that none of the pistons used to move the magazine had come disconnected. However, this is a stationary model, so further testing (and game optimization) is required. This creation is dedicated to Brenner, for freeing me from the tyranny of revolver-based magazines. ;)

You're the gravity that pulls me down
I'm the satellite crashing through to the ground
We'll throw a parade on the day that I return
Darling will I ever learn? Darling will I ever learn?
All my weakness gets caught up in my knees when you get near
I said I'm on my feet just fucking rising up again
I'm back against old ways (back against old ways)
With an ominous tongue that screams I don't belong here
I'm not loosing any ground just burning up in your atmosphere
Come now and signal the escape
You're the gravity that pulls me down
I'm the satellite crashing through to the ground
We'll throw a parade on the day that I return
Darling will I ever learn? Darling will I ever?
Five four three two one now I'm crashing to the ground
I'll stand up like a man if you think that it could to help my heart expand
(to help my heart expand)
My calico decisions in your hand Could you leave me standing here?
Come now and signal the escape
You're the gravity that pulls me down
I'm the satellite crashing through to the ground
We'll throw a parade on the day that I return
Darling will I ever learn? Darling will I ever learn?
I need to see an ocean an ocean (and let the water cover me)
I need to be by your side by your side (while we're standing by the sea)
You're the gravity that pulls me down
I'm the satellite crashing through to the ground
We'll throw a parade on the day that I return
Darling will I ever learn?
