Ain

Ain (French pronunciation: ​[ɛ̃]; Arpitan: En) is a department named after the Ain River on the eastern edge of France. Being part of the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and bordered by the rivers Saône and Rhône, the department of Ain enjoys a privileged geographic situation. It has an excellent transport network (TGV, highways) and benefits from the proximity to the international airports of Lyon and Geneva.

Ain is composed of four geographically different areas (Bresse, Dombes, Bugey and Pays de Gex) which – each with its own characteristics – contribute to the diversity and the dynamic economic development of the department. In the Bresse agriculture and agro-industry are dominated by the cultivation of cereals, cattle breeding, milk and cheese production as well as poultry farming. In the Dombes, pisciculture assumes greater importance as does wine making in the Bugey. The high diversification of the department's industry is accompanied by a strong presence of the plastics sector in and around Oyonnax (so-called "Plastics Valley").

Lancelot

Sir Lancelot du Lac (meaning Lancelot of the Lake, baptised as Galahad) was one of the Knights of the Round Table in the Arthurian legend. He typically features as King Arthur's greatest champion, the lord of Joyous Gard and the greatest swordsman and jouster of the age — until his adultery with Queen Guinevere is discovered, causing a civil war exploited by Mordred which brings about the end of Arthur's kingdom.

His first appearance as a main character is in Chrétien de Troyes' Le Chevalier de la Charette ("The Knight of the Cart"), written in the 12th century. In the 13th century, he was the main focus in the lengthy Vulgate Cycle, where his exploits are recounted in the section known as the Prose Lancelot. Lancelot's life and adventures have been featured in several medieval romances, often with conflicting background stories and chains of events.

Origins

Pre-Romance origins

Lancelot is virtually unknown prior to his appearance in the works of Chrétien de Troyes. Scholar Roger Sherman Loomis suggested that Lancelot is related to either the character Llenlleog the Irishman from Culhwch and Olwen (which associates him with the "headland of Gan(i)on") or the Welsh hero Llwch Llawwynnauc (probably a version of the euhemerized Irish deity Lugh Lonbemnech), possibly via a now-forgotten epithet like "Lamhcalad". Traditional scholars thought that they are the same figure due to the fact that their names are similar and that they both wield a sword and fight for a cauldron in Preiddeu Annwn and Culhwch.

Ngaiire

Ngaire Joseph, who goes by the stage name Ngaiire (pronounced Ny-Ree or /naɪəriː/), is a Papua New Guinea-born singer based in Sydney. She is a former backing vocalist for Blue King Brown, Paul Mac and Chet Faker, and has sung on tracks by The Tongue, Thundamentals, Bluejuice, Kilter, Lancelot and Jordan Rakei. She has toured nationally, has played at Gastonbury festival and sang at the opening ceremony for the 2015 Pacific Games. She was in the top 30 of the second season of Australian Idol, and was recognised as one of the best Australian live performers of 2015. Her debut album, Lamentations was released in 2013 and she is currently preparing to release her second album Blastoma in early 2016.

Early life

Ngaiire was born in Lae, Papua New Guinea in 1984 as Ngaire Laun Joseph, and is the eldest of three siblings. She is bi-lingual, growing up speaking both English and Tok Pisin. Her parents moved to Palmerston North in New Zealand when she was one to study, and returned to PNG six years later. Ngaiire was living in Rabaul until Mt Tarvurvur erupted in 1994 and buried the town (including her house) under a deep layer of volcanic ash. Ngaiire's parents divorced some time after returning to PNG, both subsequently remarrying. She realised from an early age that music was something she could use to make her life more stable. When I was about 11 or 12 and I was living in PNG and singing was just one of those things I did. I listened to a lot of music. Life there has loads of craziness and so many unexpected things happen. Music gave me the ability to talk about and feel all the things that were going on in my world,I always viewed songs as a form of poetry that didn't necessarily need to make sense to anyone else.

Release Date

Release Date is the 12th studio album by the Finnish avant-garde progressive metal band Waltari.

The track "Spokebone" is a collaboration between Waltari, Tomi Joutsen of Amorphis, and the Finnish folk group Värttinä.

Zara Larsson

Zara Maria Larsson (pronounced [ˈsɑːra maˈriːa ˈlɑːʂɔn]; born 16 December 1997) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She received national fame for winning the 2008 season of the talent show Talang, the Swedish version of Got Talent. Zara signed with the record label TEN Music Group in 2010 and released her debut EP album Introducing, in January 2013. The single "Uncover" topped the charts in Sweden and Norway. By February 2013 her single "Uncover" was certified Platinum by Universal Music Sweden. In July 2013 the album Introducing was certified Triple Platinum. Zara also signed a three-year contract with Epic Records in the United States in April 2013. She lives with her mother, father and her younger sister.

Career

2007–11: Career beginnings

Larsson was a finalist of the Swedish talent show called Talang in 2007, which is the Swedish version of Britain´s Got Talent. In 2008 Larsson won the Talang competition at age 10, and received the prize money of 500,000 SEK. "My Heart Will Go On" was later released as Larsson's debut single. A video of her performance in the final has received over 15 million views on YouTube.
