Fahad Mustafa

Fahad Mustafa (a.k.a Sunny Tunio) is a Pakistani actor, producer, host and model. He hosted the game show Jeeto Pakistan and appeared in the film Na Maloom Afraad. His other works include Sheeshay Ka Mahal, Haal-e-Dil, Bahu Rani, Ae Dasht-e-Junoon, Aashti, Pul Siraat Mastana Mahi and Main Abdul Qadir Hoon.

Mustafa started his career in 2002 as a model and made his television debut with Sheeshay Ka Mahal the same year. With the gap of 6 years he played the lead role in drama serial Veena. In 2008, he also started television production. As a producer his play Kalaq aired on PTV. He had performed in several television serials including, Haal-e-Dil, Bahu Rani, Ae Dasht-e-Junoon,Masuri, Aashti, Pul Siraat and Mastana Mahi. He hosted a dance competition show Nachle and currently he is hosting the game show Jeeto Pakistan. He made his film debut in 2014 with Na Maloom Afraad which was followed by Mah-e-Meer.

Actor In Law is an upcoming Pakistani romantic comedy film directed by Nabeel Qureshi, co-written and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza. The film is scheduled for release in 2016.

Background

The film is directed and produced by Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza and is their second project after Na Maloom Afraad. The details about the film were unveiled by Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza at a press conference in Karachi on 9 January 2016. The press conference was also attended by Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, Alyy Khan and Om Puri. The producer Fizza revealed that the film starrs Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in the lead roles where as Indian actor Om Puri will make his Lollywood debut. The cast also includes Talat Hussain, Alyy Khan, Rehan Sheikh, Saife Hassan and Mohammed Ehteshamuddin.Indian actor Om Puri told that he signed the film because the script is different and unique. He also told the title Actor In Law is suggested by him. “I didn’t know this team personally when I was approached for the film. But I was aware of the fact that Pakistani films have improved a lot.” said Om Puri. The director Nabeel Qureshi said that this film is a different story just like Na Maloom Afraad. “Rather than telling jokes, I enjoy telling stories. And audiences can expect the same with Actor In Law as well since it has a very unique story,” said Qureshi. The film is cinematographed by Rana Kamran. It will be distributed locally and internationally by Urdu 1. It will be the first film distribution by Urdu 1. The film is scheduled for release on Eid al-Adha in mid 2016.

Mehwish Hayat is a Pakistani actress, model and singer. She participated in the series Madventures – Ary Digital. She has also worked in films like Insha'Allah (released in 2009) and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (2015).

Actor

An actor (or actress for female) is one who portrays a character in a performance. The actor performs "in the flesh" in the traditional medium of the theatre, and/or in modern mediums such as film, radio, and television. After 1660 in England, when women first started to appear on stage, the terms actor or actress were initially used interchangeably for female performers, but later, influenced by the French actrice, actress became the commonly used term for women in theatre and film.
