After several years of absence, the DVD "Sergiu Celibidache's Garden" is finally available again exclusively at www.celibidachegarden.com.
An intimate portrait of the world famous and revered classical conductor and composer Sergiu Celibidache. This ambitious cinema docu-drama follows the maestro through rehearsal with the Munich Philharmoniker and on tour. The film crew's main objective was to re-create Celibidache's universe on the widescreen and although he usually avoided publicity, he made himself extremely available for the film. Indeed we were able to shoot over one hundred hours of Super 16mm and record more than two hundred hours of digital stereo sound.

The Creeping Garden is a feature length creative documentary exploring the work of fringe scientists, mycologists and artists and their relationship with the extraordinary plasmodial slime mould.
With an original soundtrack composed by celebrated musician Jim O'Rourke (Sonic Youth, Werner Herzog's 'Grizzly Man') this is a unique exploration into a hitherto untapped subject matter, observing and immersing the audience into the worlds of the observers and the observed.
The slime mould is being used to explore biological-inspired design, emergence theory, unconventional computing and robot controllers, much of which borders on the world of science fiction.
But as well as exploring the slime mould in the lab, the film will also travel out into the wild, hunting for the organisms in their natural habitat with dedicated amateurs and experts alike.
Co-directed by artist film-maker Tim Grabham and writer and film curator Jasper Sharp, the film follows in the unconventional footsteps of Grabham's previous feature 'KanZeOn' and Sharps fascination with the extended world of Mycology.

An intimate portrait of the world famous and revered classical conductor and composer Sergiu Celibidache. This ambitious cinema docu-drama follows the maestro through rehearsal with the Munich Philharmoniker and on tour. The film crew's main objective was to re-create Celibidache's universe on the widescreen and although he usually avoided publicity, he made himself extremely available for the film. Indeed we were able to shoot over one hundred hours of Super 16mm and record more than two hundred hours of digital stereo sound.

The Creeping Garden is a feature length creative documentary exploring the work of fringe scientists, mycologists and artists, and their relationship with the extraordinary plasmodial slime mould.
With an original soundtrack composed by celebrated musician Jim O'Rourke (Sonic Youth, Werner Herzog's 'Grizzly Man') this is a unique exploration into a hitherto untapped subject matter, observing and immersing the audience into the worlds of the observers and the observed.
The slime mould is being used to explore biological-inspired design, emergence theory, unconventional computing and robot controllers, much of which borders on the world of science fiction.
But as well as exploring the slime mould in the lab, the film also travels out into the wild, hunting for the organisms in their natural habitat.

Mike has a pretty sick back garden. It's set on a steep hill dotted with trees, which for most of the year serves as a kind of makeshift playground of mountain bike and BMX trails.
Mike's Birthday Garden Shred happened by accident one year. It was Mike's birthday and year he decided to throw a party. Add in some ghetto rails, a few trailers full of snow from nearby Cairngorm Mountain and the sketchiest homemade Poma tow we've ever seen and you've got yourself a legit party, Scotland style.
After seeing the video from last year's event, and getting a pretty convincing invite from Angus Leith we decided it was about time we got some adventure in our lives and headed North beyond The Wall to Mordor, otherwise known as Aviemore, Scotland.
Now. Anyone would think that in May there would be no snow left and the temperature would be soaring as the spring blossoms bloomed. But this is the Scottish Highlands, and weather don't make sense here. We headed deep into the Scotch Mist (which it turns out is actually a thing) in Mark Ruparelia's monster truck, armed with shovels and a trailer to harvest what was left of the Cairngorm neige.
On return to Mike's garden, said neige was heaved uphill by an army of enthusiastic volunteers and scattered about to form some sort of run in.
It pissed down. All day. We were wet. We were muddy. Our cameras were shielded by Tesco carrier bags, our spirits warmed by Scottish liquor and good cheer. This was The Garden Shred. It was AWESOME. Long live The Garden Shred.
