Kelly Bray (Cornish: Kellivre) is a village in east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated one mile (1.6 km) north of Callington immediately east of Kit Hill in a former mining area. Although Kelly Bray is in the parish of Callington there is an electoral ward with the name of the district. The population was 3,949 at the 2011 census. Kelly Bray is first recorded ca. 1286 as Kellibregh (Cornish "Kellybregh", meaning "dappled grove").
Kelly Bray was formerly the venue for the Royal Cornwall Show until it was moved to Wadebridge. The village was the location of Callington railway station - terminus of a branch line to Plymouth via Gunnislake. The line was closed behond Gunnislake in 1966.
Prior to the industrialisation in the 19th century agriculture was the main activity in the land surrounding Kelly Bray.
During the 1820s and 1830s a significant capital investment enabled the development of tin copper and lead mines in the area. In 1843 the mine at Kelly Bray amalgamated with the neighbouring mines of Holmbush and Redmoor to form the Callington Mining Company employing a workforce of over 250 people. The mining activity around Kelly Bray continued until 1946.
Bray (Irish: Bré, meaning "hill", formerly Brí Chualann) is a town in north County Wicklow, Ireland. It is a busy urban centre and seaside resort, with a population of 31,872 making it the ninth largest urban area in Ireland at the 2011 census. It is situated about 20 km (12 mi) south of Dublin on the east coast. The town straddles the Dublin-Wicklow border, with a portion of the northern suburbs situated in County Dublin.
Bray's scenic location and proximity to Dublin make it a popular destination for tourists and day-trippers from the capital. Bray is home to Ireland's only film studios, Ardmore Studios, hosting Irish and international productions for film, television and advertising. Some light industry is located in the town, with business and retail parks concentrated largely on its southern periphery. Bray town centre has a range of shops serving the consumer needs of the surrounding area. Commuter links between Bray and Dublin are provided by rail, Dublin Bus and the M11 and M50 motorways.
A demonstration of a 3 road sector plate/fiddle yard on my OO scale dcc layout 'Kelly Bray', a small branchline terminus based on Callington UK. The sector plate is manually operated and a rotary switch is used to power each indivdual line. This switch provides an extra back-up to stop trains on the sector plate. I have the rotary switch set up as, Road 1, stop/off, Road 2, stop/off, Road 3, stop/off. This way there is a stop/off between each switching, Another words, one click to the right will always stop trains. Apologies for the background music..., that is my son's Colin Buchanan dvd playing.
Just finished wiring up my Layout 'Kelly Bray', which is based on Callington. This is a DCC layout, but in the video I am running on DC, to iron out any bugs and to make sure all is running smoothly before hooking upto the DCC controller. Kelly Bray (Callington) is the terminus of the Callington Branch from Bere Alston in Cornwall, UK. A Hornby DCC Ready T9 hauls 2 x Southern Railways coaches into the station. Cheers.
St Pat's beat Bray Wanderers 5-3 on penalties to qualify for the EA Sports Cup quarter finals. The penalties were scored by Conan Byrne, Alex O'Hanlon, JJ Lunney, Rory Feely and Graham Kelly

Visiting out-of-the-way spots in Ireland by slow (very slow) bike or public transport like Dublin Bus, Irish Rail and Bus Éireann. There's a retreat house, run by the Redemptorist Order of Catholic religious, located in Esker, East Galway. The weather was incredibly wet (even for the Summer of 2015) but the lay group holding a retreat in the house, at the time, provided tea and biscuits. To the rear of the retreat house is a holy well and if you cycle past that, in a grove of trees, with no signposting, is a cemetery for deceased members of the order. It's very still and peaceful and the rain, though heavy, was gentle and warm.
-intro-
So there I was and you we're gone without me.
My heart is like a broken glass, ready to sleep.
Now I realized what you've done to me,
You left without a single feel,
Ready to say goodbye for our HIS-TO-RY!
-verse 1-
There I was terrified, cause you we're on my sight,
I can't believe my eyes.
I turn my back for you, hope you don't be a fool,
To lay your hand on me.
-bridge 1-
What you did to me, was unacceptable.
-chorus 1-
Hey!
Can you see how I hate?
Can you feel all of my rage?
Can you see how your own heart pumps my anger into your veins?
-bridge 2-
What you did to me, was unforgivable.
-chorus 2-
Hey!
Everything you said was a lie!
I just want to say goodbye!
Don't you ever speak to me, get the fuck out of my face!
-verse 2-
I can't find words to say, how I will survive today,
You caused me so much pain.
I just close my eyes, start running towards the light,
Ready to say goodbye.
-bridge 1-
