This was the start of my journey back home to NZ via Los Angeles again. Once again, so many thanks to Air New Zealand for the fantastic service! It's not surprising they were airline of the year in 2010 and they deserve to be airline of the year again! The takeoff from Heathrow was FULL POWER takeoff, so that's why the video was kind of shaky. Then while we were climbing out of Heathrow, I saw some amazing cumulonimbus cloud higher up (not visible from the ground!). Even thousands of feet up in the air where it's beyond freezing, the sunlight burnt pretty badly! Enjoy the video! We had a beautiful sunset approach and landing into Los Angeles, just as the red ball of the sun was retreating behind the hills on the horizon... Golden moments! Please like and comment if you enjoy the video...
By the way, you may want to skip the take off part because there's not much to see but the approach into LAX is really good. On this flight I discovered how amazing Air New Zealand's service is! The food was delicious, really friendly crew, heaps of movies, high resolution inflight screens and comfy seats! Many thanks to Air NZ for this fantastic flight. The approach into LAX has some really good views of the city as NZ2 approaches from the west and circles around to land on rwy 25L. Enjoy! Here's the flight details for those who want it: Air New Zealand (NZ2) Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER Tail registration: ZK-OKN Route: AKL - LAX -LHR (just AKL to LAX is shown is this vid) AA 3438S 17741E AUTEL 2500S 17000W OSUGA 1500S 16200W OTURI 0500S 15700W 0000N 15400W 0500N 15100W 1000N 14800W 150...
A very long day of spotting with the crew. Vids are from about 9:30am until just before 11pm. This was while waiting for Air New Zealand to arrive and depart. We had some nice action other than NZ on this day as well. We actually had an emergency landing as well at night. A United Airlines ERJ reported a negative nose gear light, so as he burned off fuel the Fire and Police department flooded 8L. He did indeed have his nose gear down and landed safely. This is probably the longest I will upload one single vid, so enjoy and tell me what you think.
We will be broadcasting part of the session via Hangout on Air as a demonstration and as an opportunity for community members to share inspirational ideas from their practice. Are you going to watch? Select yes and a reminder will be added to your Google Calendar. The recording will also be available to watch on demand.

I visit my dreams
In the morning of night
And wake to half wishes
And the fall of the flight
I won't hid my hopes
In my down pillow
They'll become my river
And up them I'll flow
Right in broad daylight
In front of your eyes
My wishes are flowin'
But I'm their disguise
Over and over, think it slow
All things that grow
Need not be pretty
And don't have to show
We could be
Think it slow
Cause you got a secret for me
That I know
Not how to hang on to
Or how to let go
Can you keep me from drowning
In my down pillow
Oh! Please, I need help
Cause my deep down is low
Over and over, think it slow
All things that grow
Need not be pretty
And don't have to show
We could be
Think it slow
Cause you got a secret for me
That I know
Not how to hang on to
Or how to let go
Can you keep me from drowning
In my down pillow
Oh! Please, I need help
Cause my deep down is low
