Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez

Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez (English: One, two, three... respond again), often shortened as Un, dos, tres, and named Un, dos, tres... a leer esta vez (English: One, two, three... time to read) in the last season, was a Spanish game show created by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador. The show, which ran from 1972 to 2004 spanning ten seasons, became the most famous game show in the history of Spanish television. It also was the first television show exported outside of Spain, with versions aired in the United Kingdom, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

Structure

Serrador (alias Chicho) created the show as a mixture of different traditional game show formats. It included a quiz show section as the first round (called the question round), physical competitions as the second round (called the eliminatory round), and luck and psychological games as the third round (called the auction). The show derives its name from these three parts (un, dos, tres means "one, two, three"). Contestants consisted of three couples. Each show had a theme focused on a specific topic, such as the French Revolution.

Ricky Martin

Enrique Martín Morales (born December 24, 1971), commonly known as Ricky Martin, is a Puerto Rican-Spanish singer, actor, and author. Martin began his career at age twelve with the all-boy pop group Menudo. After five years with the group, he released several Spanish-language solo albums throughout the 1990s. He also acted on stage and on TV in Mexico, becoming a modest star in the country. In 1994 he starred on the American TV soap opera General Hospital, playing a Puerto Rican singer.

In late 1999, after releasing several albums in Spanish, Martin performed "The Cup of Life" at the 41st Grammy Awards show, which became a catalyst in bringing Latin pop to the forefront of the U.S. music scene. Following its success, Martin released "Livin' la Vida Loca" which helped him obtain enormous success worldwide and is generally seen as the song that began the Latin pop explosion of 1999 and made the transition easier for other Spanish-speaking artists to move into the English-speaking market. Since it's release, the song has sold over 8 million copies, making it one of the best selling singles of all time. His first English-language album (also titled Ricky Martin), has sold 22 million copies and is one of the best selling albums of all time. His other studio albums include: Me Amarás (1993), A Medio Vivir (1995), Vuelve (1998), Sound Loaded (2000), Almas del Silencio (2003), Life (2005), Música + Alma + Sexo (2011) and A Quien Quiera Escuchar (2015).

María Figueroa

María Figueroa (born April 27, 2000) is a Spanish child singer. She became famous at age five in 2005 when she appeared the children's program Menuda Noche (broadcast on Canal Sur, presented by Juan y Medio). María is most famous for her song "Me llamo María (Yo tengo mi pompón)" ("My Name is Maria (I Have My Pom-pom)"), which was released as her first single, and is sometimes referred to simply as la niña del pompón ("the pom-pom girl").

"Maria Maria" is a song by Santana featuring The Product G&B. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 8, 2000, and stayed there for ten weeks. At the 2000 Grammy Awards, the song won the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Despite other lead singers from the album receiving awards, The Product G&B did not receive a Grammy. Marc Anthony also sang on a version of the song.

In 2008, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Hot 100 chart, Billboard compiled its list of the top 100 songs since the inception of the chart in various categories. "Maria Maria" came in at No. 96 on the list of the Billboard All-Time Hot 100 Top Songs, and No. 2 on the list of Top Billboard Hot 100 Latin Songs of All Time. Later, it was named the 14th most successful song from 2000 to 2009, on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade.

Carlos Santana has collaborated with Chef Roberto Santibañez to open five restaurants named Maria Maria, after the song. The majority are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, other locations include Arizona and Texas.
