A MAN whose hand was saved after it was sewed INSIDE his abdomen is now set to have pioneering surgery - the first of its kind in the world - to restore full use to his fingers. Former machine operator Carlos Mariotti, 43, from São Ludgero in southern Brazil, lost all the skin from his hand and fingers in a horrific workplace accident in March 2016. However, quick-thinking surgeons decided that rather than amputate, they could salvage the hand by surgically tucking it into a soft-tissue pouch in his belly - where it stayed for 42 days. Carlos had two more surgeries in May 2016, which left his hand looking like a boxing glove, and is now set to have two more procedures to radically improve the range of movement in his hand. He has not been able to work since the injury though, and now faces a financial battle to raise money for the surgery.

Le Mans
Le Mans (pronounced: [lə mɑ̃]) is a city in France, located on the Sarthe River. Traditionally the capital of the province of Maine, it is now the capital of the Sarthe department and the seat of the Roman Catholic diocese of Le Mans. Le Mans is a part of the Pays de la Loire region.
Its inhabitants are called Manceaux and Mancelles. Since 1923, the city has hosted the internationally famous 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance sports car race.
History
First mentioned by Claudius Ptolemy, the Roman city Vindinium was the capital of the Aulerci, a sub tribe of the Aedui. Le Mans is also known as Civitas Cenomanorum (City of the Cenomani), or Cenomanus. Their city, seized by the Romans in 47 BC, was within the ancient Roman province of Gallia Lugdunensis. A 3rd-century amphitheatre is still visible. The thermae were demolished during the crisis of the third century when workers were mobilized to build the city's defensive walls. The ancient wall around Le Mans is one of the most complete circuits of Gallo-Roman city walls to survive.

No Man's Sky
No Man's Sky is an upcoming adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie studio Hello Games. Players are free to explore the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open universe, which includes over 18 quintillion (1.8×1019) planets, many with their own set of flora and fauna. By exploring, players will gain information about the planets that they can submit to The Atlas, a universal database that can be shared with other players of the game. Players also gain materials and blueprints to upgrade their character's equipment and purchase a variety of starships, allowing them to travel deeper into the center of the galaxy, interact in friendly or hostile manners to computer-controlled space-faring factions, or trade with other ships.
Some activities will draw the attention of Sentinels which will attempt to kill the player-character for killing too many lifeforms or draining too many resources from these planets. Players participate in a shared universe, with the ability to exchange planet coordinates with friends, though the game will also be fully playable offline; this is enabled by the procedural generation system that assures players will find the same planet with the same features, lifeforms, and other aspects once given the planet coordinates, requiring no further data to be stored or retrieved from game servers.

Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw (pronounced [ˈmɔns ˈsɛlmɛrˈløːv]; born 13 June 1986) is a Swedish pop singer and television presenter.
He took part in Idol 2005, eventually finishing fifth, won the first season of Let's Dance, and scored a hit with his 2007 song "Cara Mia", which was his entry in that year's Melodifestivalen. Zelmerlöw was the host of Allsång på Skansen from 2011 to 2013. He participated in Melodifestivalen in 2007, 2009 and won in 2015.
Zelmerlöw represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes", winning the contest with 365 points, the third-highest score in the history of Eurovision Song Contest. Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede will co-host the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 to be held in Stockholm.
Early life and education
Born in Lund, Måns Zelmerlöw is the son of Birgitta Sahlén, a professor at Lund University, and surgeon Sven-Olof Zelmerlöw. Zelmerlöw studied music in high school in Lund and was part of a school choir project. In 2002, he played one of the brothers in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Slagthuset in Malmö.

In order to save the manor house, Dalli has started a "pony circus" with the village children in the barn, while Dick has given up hope of Ethelbert ever returning - he hasn't written in over a year. Little does she know that he is already on the way, bringing his university friend Ralf into the mix. When Ethelbert learns from Dalli that Dick and Ralf are getting much better acquainted than he was bargaining for (we're talking about getting to first name basis here, it's the 1950s), and he also learns of the trouble the Immenhof is in, he secretly gets his rich uncle Pankraz and his beautiful daughter Margot to the forester's house. After a lot of pranks the ponies and Dalli's gang of would-be cowboys play on Pankraz, he finally caves in, saves the Immenhof and allows his daughter to marry Jochen. Dick is now expecting letters from Ralf, and Ethelbert may or may not transfer his attentions to Dalli.

Plot: The story is set in 1954. The Jantzens have been owning the 18th century manor house "Immenhof" for over a 100 years, breeding and selling ponies. Only recently, Jochen von Roth has returned from POW camp and is now trying to establish a stud farm in the old forester's house about 5 kilometers from the manor house. Both Oma Jantzen and von Roth are struggling with finances. Owing to debt, Jantzen may have to face the auctioning off of all her possessions. Into this situation arrives Ethelbert, the sisters' posh cousin from the big city (we never learn which). He is making quite a fool of himself in his red and white riding dress, falling off ponies and into traps, but Dick feels drawn to him nevertheless. Romance is also blossoming between Angela and Jochen von Roth. Helped along by a thunderstorm and the cash of a horse buyer, everything resolves happily, with Jochen proposing to Angela and Ethelbert promising to write ever so often.

A MAN whose hand was saved after it was sewed INSIDE his abdomen is now set to have pioneering surgery - the first of its kind in the world - to restore full use to his fingers. Former machine operator Carlos Mariotti, 43, from São Ludgero in southern Brazil, lost all the skin from his hand and fingers in a horrific workplace accident in March 2016. However, quick-thinking surgeons decided that rather than amputate, they could salvage the hand by surgically tucking it into a soft-tissue pouch in his belly - where it stayed for 42 days. Carlos had two more surgeries in May 2016, which left his hand looking like a boxing glove, and is now set to have two more procedures to radically improve the range of movement in his hand. He has not been able to work since the injury though, and now faces a financial battle to raise money for the surgery.
