Are all Leeches out to get you? Are they all really just blood thirsty vampires lurking beneath the waters surface?
Well in an attempt to prove and disprove some of the common Leech myths going around these days Coyote has once again volunteered himself to go through a little experiment in the name of science. Mainly because one of the questions Coyote always seems to get is “how many Leeches he’s found on himself?” while wading through various swamps and lakes looking for Snapping Turtles…and also because, well, he’s just plain curious himself!
So in this video not only will he reveal the surprising answer to how many Leeches he’s had to pry off of his body over the years but he will also give you a “first hand” demonstration of what it’s like to be literally feasted on by these squirmy little blood suckers!

Showing how to make 2 different type of Leach Traps I use here in Upper Michigan. We didnt have any luck today catching any but the bait we had wasnt exactly as bloody as we need it to attract the little critters. I will be making a new leach trapping video in the spring of 2013 showing 2 different traps and baits... Stay tuned...

Dragon Tales
Dragon Tales is an American-Canadian animated pre-school children's television series created by Jim Coane and Ron Rodecker and developed by Coane, Wesley Eure, Jeffrey Scott, Cliff Ruby and Elana Lesser. The story focuses on the adventures of two siblings, Emmy and Max, and their dragon friends Ord, Cassie, Zak, Wheezie, and Quetzal. The series began broadcasting on the PBS on their PBS Kids block on September 6, 1999, with its final episode aired on November 25, 2005. Re-runs ceased on August 31, 2010. The program's full library of episodes was made available to subscribers of the streaming service Netflix. Though never released in a full season or series format on DVD, numerous individual releases were made available from all seasons on both DVD and VHS formats, a total of at least 17 DVD releases, each typically featuring at least 5 stories from the show, including "Adventures in Dragon Land," "Playing Fair Makes Playing Fun" and the animated / live-action special "Let's Start a Band."

Saul Leiter
Saul Leiter (December 3, 1923 – November 26, 2013) was an American photographer and painter whose early work in the 1940s and 1950s was an important contribution to what came to be recognized as the New York School of photography. His work is in the collections of many prestigious public and private collections.
Life and work
Leiter was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father was a well known Talmud scholar and Saul studied to become a Rabbi. His mother gave him hist first camera at age 12. At age 23, he left theology school and moved to New York City to become an artist. He had developed an early interest in painting and was fortunate to meet the Abstract Expressionist painter Richard Pousette-Dart.
Pousette-Dart and W. Eugene Smith encouraged Leiter to pursue photography and he was soon taking black and white pictures with a 35 mm Leica, which he acquired for a few Eugene Smith prints. In 1948, he started taking color photographs. He began associating with other contemporary photographers such as Robert Frank and Diane Arbus and helped form what Jane Livingston has termed the New York School of photographers during the 1940s and 1950s.
