Lee Wallace

Lee Wallace (born 1 August 1987) is a Scottish association footballer who plays as a defender and captain of Scottish Championship club Rangers.

Club career

Wallace signed professional terms in July 2004 from the Hearts youth team. Wallace made his debut in the 2004–05 season against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup and became a regular member of the first team squad although he found it hard to dislodge Takis Fyssas from the left back position.

Arguably, Wallace's finest moment so far in the maroon jersey of Hearts was his wonder strike against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup at Rugby Park where he ran a full seventy yards to score his first competitive goal for the club.

In the summer of 2006 fellow Scottish Premier League club Dundee United had a loan bid for Wallace rejected. A month later, Wallace signed a five-year contract with Hearts. Wallace was made vice captain at Hearts during season 2010–11. However his season was blighted by injury and he made only ten appearances for the club.

Robert

The name Robert is a Germanic given name, from Proto-Germanic *χrōþi- "fame" and *berχta- "bright". Compare Old Dutch Robrecht and Old High German Hrodebert (a compound of hruod "fame, glory" and berht "bright"). It is also in use as a surname.

Tommy Lee Wallace

Thomas "Tommy" Lee Wallace (born September 6, 1949) is an American film producer, director and screenwriter. He is best known for directing Halloween III: Season of the Witch and It.

Early life

Born Thomas Lee Wallace in Somerset, Kentucky, to Robert G. Wallace, and his wife Kathleen Wallace, he has one sister, Linda. He grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and attended high school at Western Kentucky University teachers training school (College High).

Education

Career

Wallace entered the film business from USC film school, starting as an art director and editor for commercials and industrial films. In 1976, he worked as sound effects editor and art director on Assault on Precinct 13, directed by longtime friend John Carpenter, with whom he had previously worked on 1974's Dark Star, a low-budget science-fiction comedy that started life as a student film and took years to make. In 1978, he served as production designer and editor of Halloween, also directed by Carpenter. (He gave co-editing credit to his assistant editor, Charles Bornstein.) In 1980, he served in the same capacity for Carpenter's next theatrical release, The Fog. In addition to his duties as co-editor and production designer, Wallace also appeared in Halloween intermittently as The Shape (the masked Michael Myers), and later in The Fog as several different ghosts; his voice was featured in both films as TV/radio announcers.

Tim Reid

Timothy L. "Tim" Reid (born December 19, 1944) is an American actor, comedian and film director best known for his roles in prime time American television programs, such as Venus Flytrap on WKRP in Cincinnati (1978–82), Marcel "Downtown" Brown on Simon & Simon (1983–87), Ray Campbell on Sister, Sister (1994–99) and William Barnett on That '70s Show (2004–2006). Reid starred in a CBS series, Frank's Place, as a professor who inherits a Louisiana restaurant.

Early years

Timmy Reid was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in the Crestwood area of Chesapeake, Virginia, formerly Norfolk County, Virginia. The son of Augustine (née Wilkins) and William Lee Reid. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at Norfolk State College in 1968. Reid also became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. After graduation he was hired by Dupont Corporation, where he worked for three years.

Reid's entertainment career also began in 1968. He and insurance salesman Tom Dreesen met at a Junior Chamber of Commerce meeting near Chicago. They were "put together to promote an anti-drug program in the local schools" and, prompted by a comment from a child, decided to form a comedy team. The team, later billed as "Tim and Tom", was the first interracial comedy duo. Years later, Reid and Dreesen co-wrote a book about those years called Tim & Tom: An American Comedy in Black and White (ISBN 978-0-226-70900-0, co-written with sports writer Ron Rapoport).
