In the Abrahamic religions, Gabriel (Hebrew: גַּבְרִיאֵל, Modern Gavri'el, Tiberian Gaḇrîʼēl "God is my strength"; Biblical Greek: Γαβριήλ, Gabriēl) is an angel who typically serves as a messenger sent from God to certain people.
Gabriel is mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. In the Old Testament, he appears to the prophet Daniel, delivering explanations of Daniel's visions (Daniel 8:15–26, 9:21–27). In the Gospel of Luke, Gabriel appeared to Zechariah and the Virgin Mary, foretelling the births of John the Baptist and Jesus, respectively (Luke 1:11–38). In the Book of Daniel, he is referred to as "the man Gabriel", while in the Gospel of Luke, Gabriel is referred to as "an angel of the Lord" (Luke 1:11). Gabriel is not called an archangel in the Bible, but is so called in Intertestamental period sources like the Book of Enoch. In the Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Eastern and Oriental Orthodox churches, the archangels Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel are also referred to as saints. In Islam, Gabriel is considered an archangel whom God is believed to have sent with revelation to various prophets, including Muhammad. The 96th chapter of the Quran, al-Alaq, is believed by Muslims to have been the first chapter (surah) revealed by Gabriel to Muhammad.
Gabriel S. Hardeman, Jr. (December 13, 1943 – June 23, 2012), was an American gospel musician, pianist, and leader of the Gabriel Hardeman Delegation that included his wife Annette. He started his music career, in 1976, with the release of Gabriel Hardeman Delegation by Savoy Records. Along with his wife, they formed Birthright Records, and in 1981 they released the album Talk along with Feels Like Fire in 1983. His fourth album, To the Chief Musician, released in 2001 by Crystal Rose Records, and this placed at No. 12 on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. Hardeman was a noted songwriter along with his wife Annette of such songs as 1987's "I Feel Good All Over" by Stephanie Mills and "Love Under New Management" by Miki Howard in 1989.
Hardeman was born on December 13, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia, as Gabriel S. Hardeman, Jr., whose the son of Reverend Gabriel S. Hardeman Sr, who pastored and founded the Hickman Temple A.M.E. Church in West Philadelphia, and his mother, Daisy. Hardeman was a pianist at his fathers church as a youth. He graduated from High School at William Penn High School, and he went onto graduate from West Virginia State University with a physical education bachelor's degree, where he was a football player and a glee club participant. Subsequently in 1990, he went to Lutheran Theological Seminary, where he graduated with a master's degree in divinity and became a minister in 1995.
Theodore DeReese "Teddy" Pendergrass (March 26, 1950 – January 13, 2010) was an American R&B/soul singer and songwriter. He first rose to fame as lead singer of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes in the 1970s before a successful solo career at the end of the decade. In 1982, Pendergrass was severely injured in an auto accident in Philadelphia, resulting in his being paralyzed from the chest down. He subsequently founded the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance, a foundation that helps those with spinal cord injuries. He commemorated 25 years of living after his spinal cord injury with the star-filled event, "Teddy 25 - A Celebration of Life", at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center. His last performance was on a PBS special at Atlantic City's Borgata Casino in November 2008.
Born Theodore DeReese Pendergrass on March 26, 1950 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the only child of Jesse and Ida Geraldine (née Epps) Pendergrass. When he was still very young, his father left the family; Jesse was fatally chest-stabbed on June 13, 1962. Pendergrass grew up in Philadelphia and sang often at church. He dreamed of being a pastor and got his wish when, at 10, he was ordained a minister (according to author Robert Ewell Greene). Pendergrass also took up drums during this time and was a junior deacon of his church. He attended Thomas Edison High School for Boys in North Philadelphia (now closed). He sang with the Edison Mastersingers. He dropped out in the eleventh grade to enter the music business, recording his first song "Angel With Muddy Feet". The recording, however, was not a commercial success.
Feel Good may refer to:
"I Feel Good All Over" is a 1987 single by Stephanie Mills. The single was her second number one on the Hot Black Singles chart and first number one in 1987. The single spent three weeks at the top spot. However, the single did not make the Hot 100.
In 1988 singer Patti Labelle admitted that she had been a given chance at recording the song by the songwriters' Gabriel Hardeman and Annette Hardeman (who was a background singer for her at the time), but passed believing that it wasn't a "Patti" song. "When I heard Ms. Thing (Mills) sing it and everything was right, I said 'Patti' and slapped myself...I blew that one."

Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time.
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much,
Are You Still Mine?
I need your love,
I need your love,
God speed your love to me!
Lonely rivers flow to the sea,
To the sea,
To the open arms of the sea.
Lonely rivers sigh,
"Wait for me, wait for me!"
I'll be coming home, wait for me!
Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much,
Are You Still Mine?
I need your love,
I need your love,
God speed your love to me!
Lonely mountains gaze at the stars,
At the stars,
Waiting for the dawn of the day.
All alone, I gaze at the stars,
At the stars,
Dreaming of my love for away.
Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time.
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much,
Are You Still Mine?
I need your love,
I need your love,
