Igi

Igi (Georgian: იგი) is a short story written by the Georgian writer Jemal Karchkhadze, first published in 1977. The story Igi is one of the most acclaimed works of the author and since 2006 has been included in school textbooks of Georgian Language and Literature.

Plot

Igi is a prehistoric story, taking readers to a period when the very first artist and thinker discovers a method to create images. In the routine life of prehistoric society comes a moment when one person, named Igi, starts to ask questions that no one has ever asked before. A feeling of wonder pervades his body and mind and he tries to discover secrets unnoticed by the rest. However, in a closed society, any original perception of life is unacceptable. The Chief and his followers will never welcome a member with a different way of thinking, and conflict arises between a progressive mentality and brute force. Igi has to follow a hard and painful way of solitude in order to gain free will and find the essence of being. The vivid narration reveals a very strange world, where feelings often seem bizarre, and where one can find many answers to questions that still preoccupy mankind.

Project I.G.I.: I'm Going In

Project I.G.I.: I'm Going In (released in Europe as simply Project I.G.I.) is a tactical first-person shooter developed by Innerloop Studios and released on December 15, 2000 by Eidos Interactive. Upon release the game received mixed reviews due to a number of shortcomings, including poorly programmed A.I., lack of a mid-game save option, and the lack of multiplayer features. However it was praised for its superb sound design and graphics, thanks in part to its use of a proprietary game engine that was previously used in Innerloop's Joint Strike Fighter.

It was followed up in 2003 by I.G.I.-2: Covert Strike.

Plot

The protagonist Jones, with the help of Anya, infiltrates the base of Jach Priboi in order to capture him and extract the knowledge of the stolen Warhead. While Jach Priboi is taken away in a helicopter by Jones, the copter is shot down by Ekk. The Russians take Priboi, as well as Jones' equipment. Jones then has to clear the border and find his equipment. He then hijacks the train carrying Priboi and takes him in for interrogation. Learning about the involvement of Ekk, he sets off to catch her and find the nuclear weapon. Ekk escapes on her first meeting with Jones, but Jones kills her after finding her second hideout as well.

Mission Six

Mission Six (sometimes shown as Mission 6 or just M6) is a contemporary Christian band from Evansville, Indiana, United States. They have released four studio albums. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Noah Hayden, bass player Michael Powers, drummer David Horner, keys Isaac Alling and lead guitarist Lucas Ball. They tour both nationally and internationally and star in a JUCE TV series titled "City Lights", which follows the band on the road.

History and media recognition

The band was formed in Evansville, Indiana in 2005 when they were just in fifth grade. Noah, Isaac, Michael and David grew up together playing sports and went to the same Christian school. Knowing that they all had instrumental abilities and a desire to serve God, they started Mission Six. Michael Powers, their bass player, stated in a 2011 iShine Knect "Mission Six Spotlight" episode, "...it was just kind of a pipe dream, 'why don't we start a band- do something different?'" Anthony Barthel, (former guitarist), was homeschooled & moved to a different part of town, where he met the boys. Barthel says in the iShine episodes "he hardly knew how to play guitar", so he joined the band. Hayden & Horner's fathers were both senior pastors, so they practiced at their church & the band was official. Lucas Ball then joined the band in 2012. The band said later in an iShine interview that Lucas Ball joined the band as a result of their paths crossing together. They were in need of a new guitar player due to Barthel's departure and found Lucas at an Olive Garden restaurant. Ball was their waiter and they began to discuss how each of their lives had been, eventually they had Ball join the band.Lucas had grown up in the same town and served in the same church as the boys.

Overview

The word project comes the Latin word projectum from the Latin verb proicere, "before an action" which in turn comes from pro-, which denotes precedence, something that comes before something else in time (paralleling the Greek πρό) and iacere, "to do". The word "project" thus actually originally meant "before an action".

When the English language initially adopted the word, it referred to a plan of something, not to the act of actually carrying this plan out. Something performed in accordance with a project became known as an "object".Every project has certain phases of development.
