FABLife

FABLife (also known by its full title Tyra Presents FABLife; FAB is an acronym for "Fun And Beautiful") is an American syndicated daily lifestyle panel talk show. It premiered on September 14, 2015 in the United States and Canada.

Production

The series is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television as a co-production with main host Tyra Banks's production company, The Tyra Banks Company.

The hour-long series is being produced and hosted by Tyra Banks, with a round table lineup that consists of model and food writer Chrissy Teigen, fashionista Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk, and do-it-yourself YouTuber Leah Ashley, using a format similar to The View, The Talk, The Real and The Social, offering up wide range of topics from celebrity gossip to do-it-yourself tips.

The eight ABC O&O stations committed to the show upon its announcement, with other different broadcast groups such as E. W. Scripps Company, Tegna, Media General and Cox Media following.

On Friday November 20, 2015 Tyra Banks said in an statement that she's leaving the show in December in order to focus more on her cosmetics company TYRA Beauty. She was expected to come back to make occasional appearances and continue as executive producer, but eventually severed her ties to the program altogether.

Tyra Banks

Tyra Lynne Banks (born December 4, 1973) is an American model, television personality, talk show host, producer, author, actress, singer and business woman. She began her career as a model at age 15 and rose to fame, becoming the first African American woman on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, on which she appeared twice. She is one of the original Victoria's Secret Angels. By the early 2000s, Banks was one of the top-earning models in the world. Subsequently she moved onto television and film, known for her roles as Eve in Disney channel's Life-Size and Zoe in the box office hit Coyote Ugly. Banks first appeared on television on the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and has since been featured in small roles in romantic film Love & Basketball and horror film Halloween: Resurrection and has appeared in numerous television shows, including Gossip Girl and Glee.

In 2003, Banks created and became the host of the UPN/The CW long-running reality television show America's Next Top Model (2003 - 2015) Banks was also the co-creator of True Beauty, and was the host of her own talk show, The Tyra Banks Show, which aired on The CW for five seasons and won two Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Talk Show Informative. She co-hosted the talk show FABLife.

Chrissy Teigen

Christine "Chrissy" Teigen (/ˈtiːɡən/; born November 30, 1985) is an American model. She made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and, alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, appeared on the cover in 2014. She co-hosts Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Spike TV and joined the lifestyle panel talk show FABLife.

Early life

Teigen was born in Delta, Utah. Her father is of Norwegian descent, and her mother is Thai. Teigen's father worked as an electrician, and the family moved often. After living in Hawaii, Idaho, and Seattle, Washington, the family settled in Huntington Beach, California, when Teigen was a teenager. She was discovered by a photographer while working in a surf shop.

Career

She is represented worldwide by IMG Models in New York. She became an IGN Babe in 2004 and a substitute model on Deal or No Deal for 2006–2007. In July 2007, she appeared on the cover of Maxim's calendar. Her campaigns include Gillette Venus, Olay, Nike, Skullcandy headphones, Gap Factory, XOXO, UGG Australia, Rock and Republic, Billabong, Beach Bunny Swimwear (for whom she was also a fashion week correspondent), and Nine West Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. She has also served as a recurring guest host and contributor on E!, TMZ, MTV, FUSE/MSG, and Extra with Mario Lopez, and has appeared on America's Next Top Model and Watch What Happens Live. In spring 2013, she was host of the reality competition show, “Model Employee” on VH1.
