During a space flight to Saturn, three astronauts are exposed to a blast of radiation which kills two of them and seriously injures the third, Steve West (Rebar). He is next shown unconscious in a hospital back on Earth, with bandages covering his face; his physician, Dr. Loring (Lisle Wilson), cannot explain what is happening to West or how he survived the blast. After the doctor leaves, West awakens and is horrified to find the flesh on his face and hands melting away. Hysterical, he attacks and kills a nurse (Bonnie Inch), then escapes the hospital in a panic. Loring and Dr. Theodore "Ted" Nelson (DeBenning), a scientist and friend of West, discover that the nurse's corpse is emitting feeble radiation, and realize West's body has become radioactive.

Fuggito dall'ospedale vaga, dunque, per il paese in cerca di gente da fare a pezzi e, naturalmente, di gente ne trova molta. Il solerte dottor Nelson parte sulla scia delle sanguinose tracce che Steven West si lascia dietro e con un paio di poliziotti cerca di catturarlo.

I'm back with a new video after a long time without build projects. Those of you that follow my VLOG's already know what kept me from creating new content the past few months.
My friend The Redsmith from France agreed to a collaboration project of which this is the first part.

As for the content this time I recreated my Ninja Rebar Shuriken but since I wanted make a bunch of them I decided to go with power tools this time.
In the second part The Redsmith created a sheath for ten of the shuriken so they can be worn around the leg (or your arm if its big enough ;) ).
This will be the last shuriken video for a while but I hope to get back to my usual weekly schedule with new exiting projects.

Hi YouTube,
this weeks project builds and expands upon the bo-shuriken from the last project.
This time the bo-shuriken was made with basic hand tools from ordinary rebar. The differences to the previous type are that this shuriken has only one tip, has flights and is supposed to be thrown without spin. The tip is also triangular as opposed to the conical tip from the other model I hope that this design will prove to be sturdier.
It will take you approx. half an hour to make one of these although you can speed the process up with an angle grinder (like I did due to time constraints) or with other power tools.
As far as I know this rebar was made from mild steel which is why I didn't attempt to heat treat it besides shuriken are meant to be throw away weapons anyways ;)

The Incredible Melting Man
The Incredible Melting Man is a 1977 American science fiction horror film about an astronaut whose body begins to melt after he is exposed to radiation during a space flight to Saturn, driving him to commit murders and consume human flesh to survive. Written and directed by William Sachs, the film starred Alex Rebar as Steve West, the antagonist of the title, alongside Burr DeBenning as a scientist trying to help him, and Myron Healey as a United States Air Force general seeking to capture him. It has been described as a remake of First Man into Space (1959).
The screenplay was originally intended as a parody of horror films, but comedic scenes were edited out during production and new horror scenes added. Sachs claims that the producers decided during shooting that a straight horror film would be more financially successful, and that the film suffered as a result. The Incredible Melting Man was produced by American International Pictures, which also handled the theatrical distribution. The film includes several homages to science fiction and horror films of the 1950s. Makeup artist Rick Baker provided the gory makeup effects for the film. He originally created four distinct stages of makeup design so the antagonist would appear to gradually melt, but the stages were ultimately cut from the final film.

Myron Healey
Myron Daniel Healey (June 8, 1923 – December 21, 2005) was an American actor. He began his career in Hollywood, California, during the early 1940s in bit parts and minor supporting roles at various studios.
Early years
Healey was born in Petaluma in Sonoma County, California. He served in World War II as an Air Corps navigator and bombardier, flying in B-26 Martin Marauders in the European Theatre. After the war he continued military duties, retiring in the early 1960s as a captain in the United States Air Force Reserve.
Acting career
Returning to film work after the war, Healey played villains and henchmen in low-budget western films. He also did some screenwriting. In the post-war period, he was often seen in Monogram studio films, which starred Johnny Mack Brown, Jimmy Wakely, and Whip Wilson.
In the 1950s, Healey moved to more "bad guy" roles in other films, including the Bomba and Jungle Jim series, crime dramas, and more westerns. He portrayed the bandit Bob Dalton in an episode of the syndicated television series Stories of the Century, starring and narrated by Jim Davis.

Lisle Wilson
Lisle Astor Wilson (September 2, 1943 – March 14, 2010) was an American actor known for playing Phillip Woode in Brian De Palma's horror film Sisters and Leonard Taylor on the ABC sitcom That's My Mama which ran from 1974 to 1975. He was also widely recognized for his guest appearances on television shows such as Lou Grant, The White Shadow, and Falcon Crest, to name a few. Lisle was the Director of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West in Pasadena, California for several years. After ending his regular acting career in 1992, Lisle went on to teach Vocal Techniques, to up and coming Broadcasters at the Academy of Radio and Television Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, California.

My friend The Redsmith from France agreed to a collaboration project of which this is the first part. Making Ninja Rebar-Shuriken with basic Tools
Hi YouTube, this weeks project builds and expands upon the bo-shuriken from the last project. This time the bo-shuriken was made with basic hand tools from ordinary rebar. The differences to the previous type are that this shuriken has only one tip, has flights and is supposed to be thrown without spin. The tip is also triangular as opposed to the conical tip from the other model I hope that this design will prove to be sturdier. It will take you approx. half an hour to make one of these although you can speed the process up with an angle grinder (like I did due to time constraints) or with other power tools. As far as I know this rebar was made from mild steel which is why I didn't attempt to heat treat it besides shuriken are meant to be throw away weapons anyways ;) You can win one of ...

As for the content this time I recreated my Ninja Rebar Shuriken but since I wanted make a bunch of them I decided to go with power tools this time.
In the second part The Redsmith created a sheath for ten of the shuriken so they can be worn around the leg (or your arm if its big enough ;) ).
This will be the last shuriken video for a while but I hope to get back to my usual weekly schedule with new exiting projects.

this weeks project builds and expands upon the bo-shuriken from the last project.
This time the bo-shuriken was made with basic hand tools from ordinary rebar. The differences to the previous type are that this shuriken has only one tip, has flights and is supposed to be thrown without spin. The tip is also triangular as opposed to the conical tip from the other model I hope that this design will prove to be sturdier.
It will take you approx. half an hour to make one of these although you can speed the process up with an angle grinder (like I did due to time constraints) or with other power tools.
As far as I know this rebar was made from mild steel which is why I didn't attempt to heat treat it besides shuriken are meant to be throw away weapons anyways ;)

The Incredible Melting Man is a 1977 American science fiction horror film about an astronaut whose body begins to melt after he is exposed to radiation during a space flight to Saturn, driving him to commit murders and consume human flesh to survive. It revolves around a group of sorority girls and their boyfriends being killed off during a Christmas party by a vengeful psychopath dressed as Santa Claus.
The film was given a limited theatrical release in the United States on January 30, 1980 by Intercontinental Releasing Corporation (IRC). It was released on VHS in the United States by Media Home Entertainment in 1983. Do to the films poor lighting, many scenes have been hard to see in VHS quality. Scorpion Releasing, under license from current rights holder MGM, has released the film for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray on October 21, 2014. "No habréis visto nada hasta que no veáis el Sol a través de los anillos de Saturno" exclama el astronauta Steve West. Pero precisamente lo que acaba de maravillar son unas extrañas radiaciones que convierten su cuerpo en una carnosa y viscosa masa de carne. Una vez en el hospital, se dará cuenta que lo único que necesita es carne humana y la enfermera que lo cuida será su primera víctima. Escapará del hospital y se refugiará en los bosques a la caza de más víctimas que sacian su hambre. El doctor Ted Nelson será el único capaz de frenar esa amenaza mortal en la que se ha convertido el pobre West.

Sinopsis
