China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a sovereign state in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.35 billion. The PRC is a one-party state governed by the Communist Party, with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces; five autonomous regions; four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing); two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau); and claims sovereignty over Taiwan.
Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, China is the world's second-largest country by land area, and either the third or fourth-largest by total area, depending on the method of measurement. China's landscape is vast and diverse, ranging from forest steppes and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the arid north to subtropical forests in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from South and Central Asia. The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard. China's coastline along the Pacific Ocean is 14,500 kilometres (9,000 mi) long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.

When I was asked to go on a trip to northern Laos on Enduro bikes I did not even know where Laos was. We spent eight days on a round trip in northern Laos starting in Luang Prabang, riding alongside the Mekong River, getting close to the Myanmar, Chinese and Vietnamese frontiers. We rode up to 200 km a day and stayed overnight at small homestays and small hotels. This film is a kind of documentary with no demand for completeness to show the country and culture in every detail but a motorcycle video diary of this fantastic trip. It was a guided tour organised by "Offroad Laos Adventures", a business run by Charly, a Frenchman and dirtbike enthusiast with a great love for this country, it's people and nature. Track No. 8 from our 3rd album, Return From Ashes, written and recorded between 2003 & 2006. The Gibson L5S came out of the closet for this one. Every step involved in creating this song; from idea, chord structure & words to tracking, EQ vocals & post mix, was slow, arduous & painful. And now, it's one of my favorites. I dedicate this song to Bill Bertucio, Jim Bulson and all the good people of Watertown, CT.

Travel video about destination China. China’s Imperial City is located in the centre of its ancient Middle Kingdom, a gigantic and inscrutable empire beyond the Great Wall. The Imperial City is entered through the Gates of Heavenly Peace. After seven years of construction, Ming Emperor Zhu Di moved into his newly-established palace complex in which over eight thousand people lived in almost a thousand rooms. The palace served as both a residential and governmental seat to the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A stone’s throw away from the old Summer Palace is the Garden of Harmonious Unity that was the favourite garden of the Emperor’s household who retreated to its cool lakeside shores during the humid months of summer. Close to Badaling the Great Wall Of China extends majestically ...

Top Things to do in China! I know that this is long overdue and that I haven't posted a video in a while, but seriously China!! Anyways, this list is less about the top attractions in China and more about the best ones. Moreover, it features the off the beaten path destinations in China as well. So what are the most incredible things to do in China. Here's my take: 10) Changsha and the Mao Zedong Staute (长沙和毛泽东雕像) This is crazy, in the capital of Hunan Province there's a giant statue of Mao Zedong that looks like something out of Mount Rushmore. Definitely a top thing to see in China. 9) Bifengxia Panda Base (碧峰峡大熊猫保护区) The Panda Center in Chengdu is a bit over-touristed. That's why it's a great option to head to Bifengxia on the edge of the village of Ya'an, and up to this amazing ...

Shenzhen in Guangdong Province was once one of China's fastest growing cities and is currently the headquarters of numerous high-tech companies. In this Documentary style short video we will be spending a day exploring the streets of this young city and meeting some of its people.
Toronto is Canada's largest and North America's fourth-largest city. Its multi-cultural population is spread out over the Megacity, but neighborhoods such as China Town, Greektown and Little Italy retain some of their original character. A typical "Hogtown" treat is the Peameal sandwich, available at the Saint Lawrence Market in the Old Town. The city's landmark CN Tower stands in stark contrast to another local icon: The castle-like Casa Loma. Some other famous architectural feats are the Royal Ontario Museum and the Gehry-designed Art Gallery of Ontario. Kensington Markets is an art-loving, 70s-inspired neighborhood full of shops. Upscale fashion stores surround Dundas Square, the downtown end of Yonge Street. During colder months, the city's huge underground mall, the PATH, offers hou...
In part two of my video travel guide to India I travel to Bodhgaya, one of the most sacred places in all of the Buddhist religion. It was at this location 2,500 years ago that a young Prince Siddhartha sat under a fig tree, meditated and found enlightenment, thus becoming the Buddha. I start off by visiting the many temples that have been built by various Buddhists from around the world, including temples dedicated to Buddhists living in China, Japan, Tibet and Nepal. I then visit the Tergar Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist complexes in the region, which is a short walk from the main road. I then head to the sacred Mahabodhi Temple complex in the center of town. At sunset it is a scenic, peaceful time to explore the grounds, which include a large monument built at the Bodhi Tree it...
Located on China's south coast, Hong Kong offers some of the world's most intense shopping, sightseeing and dining experiences, yet moments of stillness await at every turn. Hong Kong has over 600 places of worship, from neighborhood temples to hilltop monasteries. Shopping is almost a religion too! From opulent malls like Pacific Place to the markets of Temple Street, tax-free Hong Kong is heaven for bargain hunters. From Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, hop aboard a Star Ferry for the crossing to Hong Kong Island. Explore the futuristic architecture of Hong Kong's main business district, Central, then take a tram to Victoria Peak. Hong Kong offers plenty of green spaces, such as Kowloon's Walled City Park. Outside the urban areas, over forty percent of the territory has been designated as ...

I'm on my way million miles from home
I'm on the run don't know where to go
Who knows where I'll be tomorrow
I have had too many sorrows
Will all the dreams that I've lost
Coming back and who can I trust
I will go home sooner or later
To write my live on a piece of paper
I'm a lonely rider
Coming home to you, alright
Now I'm here and now I'm there
I take the risk but I don't take care
A hell-raiser who broke the rules
Don't need a gun I take other tools
All you girls and all you boys
Listen to my fuckin' voice
Write my live on a piece of paper
The story of a lawbreaker
I'm a lonely rider
Coming home to you
I'm a lonely rider
I'm coming home, coming home to you
He won't stop he's a rider
Don't give it up he's a fighter
Don't you come back lonely rider
Won't you go back lonely rider
Let me walk the only way
Don't tell me that I have to stay
I waste my time too many lies
Therefore I have paid the price
Why don't you listen to my story
I'm a lonely rider but I ain't worried
At one of these days today or later
I'll write my life on a piece of paper
I'm a lonely rider
I'm coming home to you
I'm a lonely rider
Coming home to you
I'm a lonely rider
Coming home to you
I'm a lonely rider
I'm coming home, oh yeah I'm coming home
