Joris Voorn is a record producer and Dj from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Raised in a musical family, music naturally became an intrinsic part of Voorn's life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the mid-90's, and he started DJ'ing in 1997.
By the end of 2000 Joris began building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release
called 'muted trax pt.1' on Keynote. His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig,
Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia. In 2003 'Lost memories Pt.1' was released on Technasia's SINO label
and was followed by 'Lost memories Pt.2' containing the anthem 'Incident' which was heard on dancefloors
around the world.
After the success of 'Incident', Voorn released his debut cd album called 'Future History' on the Sino label.
Encompassing 3 years of ideas and inspiration, the cd contains 20 diverse tracks, a seamless soundscape that
represents his arrival as one of the most relevant techno producers of this time.
In the summer of 2005 Joris Voorn's new personal outlet called 'green' saw the light of day. 'A dedicated mind'
was released as the first EP, which garnered success globally. He also completed his debut DJ mix CD for the
Fuse club in Belgium. After Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Technasia, Fuse presented Joris Voorn to mix part 4 of their
international resident's dj mix albums. The mix contained over 40 tracks of timeless techno music mixed with the
help of Ableton Live for its endless mixing and editing possibilities.
In 2006 the sophomore release under Voorn's Green label, named 'MPX_309', was a crossover techno work that
was played out by techno, minimal, house and trance DJs. During the same year Voorn created his second
album, released worldwide in June 2007. This new piece of work called 'From a deep place' featured many
different styles of electronic music, ranging from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, house and deep soulful
techno.
The focus point of the 'From a deep place' CD has been the listener rather than the dancer and was received
enthusiastically by the electronic music community. Some of the works were edited to more dj friendly tracks for
the vinyl release of the album. During the summer of 2007 Joris has been touring with his new live performance in
support of his album release.
More recently, Joris has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for respected and diverse artists
such as Robert Babicz, Nic Fanciulli, Slam, Steve Angello, Sebo K and Jerome Sydenham. The 'Dark Flower
Magnolia Mix' for Robert Babicz turned out to be another summer anthem in electronic dance music, and was a
favourite of DJ's like Sven Vath, Dubfire, Pete Tong and John Digweed among many others.
In 2008, following the success of his resident advisor podcast, Joris was invited to produce episode 14 of the
Balance DJ mix CD series from Australia. Following in the footsteps of James Holden and Lee Burridge, Joris
constructed a layered and seamless mix of electronic dance music on a double CD. An epic mix in the very best
sense of the word, Balance 014 achieves the rare feat of combining variety and consistency, making it perfect for
trainspotters and dancers alike. The tracks change quickly and quietly, but the groove stays. An accompanying
world tour will follow where Joris will bring the essence of this studio project to the stage, using all different
elements of the mix into a full range club experience.
Having established himself as a leading producer and DJ, Joris will be embarking on a new project called 'A green
night'. Inspired by his surroundings, which is never limited to the dancefloor, Joris and his team will be creating a
night in several festivals and clubs, exploring the possibilities of combining music and visual arts. This year the
project will be developed, tested and finetuned in selected clubs.
As a DJ and live performer Joris Voorn has joined an elite group of international DJ's whose musical talent has
acquired global appeal. He has performed across Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Austsralia,
Russia, Brazil, Colombia, Israel, Detroit, Chicago and New York.

Wang Leehom's much anticipated new album's first hit single, "Lose Myself" featuring Swedish DJ Avicii is a true East West crossover opening the doors for EDM in China.
Wang Leehom's new Chinese album is dropping at the end of 2014 and he never fails to surprise us. Early on in his career he set the standard for Chinese R&B; with the award winning album "Revolution". In his album, "Heroes of Earth", Leehom created a sound he called "Chinked-Out" which helped define the sound of Chinese hip-hop. Now, his collaboration with DJ Avicii on "Lose Myself" has not only created buzz for the new album, it's also opened the doors for electronic dance music in China.
Avicii's signature rhythms and Leehom's emotional melodies create a fresh blend of East meets West. The Chinese lyrics written by Leehom are a double entendre. WLH says "The structure of EDM songs are quite different from what Chinese audiences are used to. There are long instrumental interludes (known as the drop). I hope 'Lose Myself' can show audiences how to appreciate EDM. First, to 'lose yourself' in the music and forget the worries and stresses of everyday life. But also, there's a sad love story here. A girl has forgotten me but I just can't get over her. And I wish she could teach me just how to forget the past."

To commemorate the fact that it was now the year 2001, and to tie in with the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", Jean Michel Jarre collaborated with Arthur C Clarke to conceive a concert based around the theme and ideas of the film and book written by the famous author.
In order to perceive this idea, Jean Michel Jarre decided to create a group called "The ViZitors" - with the group comprising of people he has worked with before, including Tetsuya "TK" Komuro and Francis Rimbert.
The concert was designed by long-term collaborator Mark Fisher, who has designed every Jarre concert since The China Concerts during 1981. The original design concept of the concert looked fascinating, originally being intended to be a large-scale concert on par with previous outdoor concerts by Jean Michel Jarre. This was not to be the case though, and although still looking very good, turned out to be more or less a showcase for Jean Michel and TK's "new" music and The ViZitors. Whether this was down to not very much funding or the lack of time in which to conceive such a large-scale project still remains to be confirmed. The concert was also split into 2 distinct parts, with ACT 2 being the concert by "The ViZitors".
During the time prior to the concert, Jean Michel flew over to Arthur Clarke's home in Sri Lanka to film him, which was later to be used as the introductions to each of the songs during the concert. The "script" consisted of various subjects, such as the social lives of aliens, loneliness in space, sexual acts in the weightlessness of space, among other things.
The event didn't even amass hardly any public and press acknowledgment either, with only a 2 minute slot on Euronews and a 2-page article in the French magazine VSD, although the entire event was broadcasted live on Japanese TV. The UK newspaper, The Sunday Times did manage to feature an article a day prior to the concert on Sunday December 31st 2000, and can be found here. Also, originally the whole event was going to be broadcast live over the Internet, but in the end, all that was broadcasted was ACT 3, and that was it.
So unfortunately, due to the lack of response on behalf of the press and the general public, the ViZitors project has now been put on ice (there was also originally going to be an album too with 3 extra tracks). Luckily though, in order for the whole design idea of the images and projections used during the concert to NOT fall into obscurity, they were reused during the Akropolis concerts in Athens in June 2001.

"Lose Myself" is a 2007 song by American singer/rapper Ms. Lauryn Hill. It is included on the soundtrack to Surf's Up, released on June 5, 2007. The song is played at the end of the movie when the credits roll.
The song relates Hill's love for music and Big Z's from Surf's Up passion for surfing.
She sang, wrote, and produced the song using a more Hawaii/surfing feel to go along with movie. It is her first completely new solo song released since 2004 when she appeared on The Passion of the Christ: Songs soundtrack with "The Passion".
Marsha Ambrosius covered the song for her 2011 debut Late Nights and Early Mornings.

Jean Michel Jarre
Jean Michel Jarre (born Jean-Michel André Jarre; 24 August 1948) is a French composer, performer, and music producer. He is a pioneer in the electronic, ambient, and new-age genres, and known as an organiser of outdoor spectacles of his music featuring lights, laser displays, and fireworks.
Jarre was raised in Lyon by his mother and grandparents, and trained on the piano. From an early age he was introduced to a variety of art forms, including those of street performers, jazz musicians, and the artist Pierre Soulages. He played guitar in a band, but his musical style was perhaps most heavily influenced by Pierre Schaeffer, a pioneer of musique concrète at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales.
His first mainstream success was the 1976 album Oxygène. Recorded in a makeshift studio at his home, the album sold an estimated 12 million copies. Oxygène was followed in 1978 by Équinoxe, and in 1979 Jarre performed to a record-breaking audience of more than a million people at the Place de la Concorde, a record he has since broken three times. More albums were to follow, but his 1979 concert served as a blueprint for his future performances around the world. Several of his albums have been released to coincide with large-scale outdoor events, and he is now perhaps as well known as a performer as well as a musician.

HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "Influenced" is not recognizedJoris Voorn (born 25 February 1977 in Moergestel) is a Dutch DJ who resides in Amsterdam. Joris is the co-owner of the Amsterdam based labels Rejected (with Edwin Oosterwal) and Green. He plays his own house-style which is considered close to Detroit Techno. Additionally Joris is a graduate in interior architecture.
Like many musicians, Voorn had a strong affiliation with music at a young age growing up in the city of Schiedam when he learned how to play the guitar and violin (his father was a composer of music). However, once the radio opened his mind to newer influences, Voorn became hooked on techno. During his education he won a DJ competition in Enschede which kick-started Joris' music career. Since 1997 Joris has been regularly booked for gigs and had a residency at the ATAK. However his first production was not until 2002 when he released his "Muted Trax" EP. This release, as well as support from Carl Craig, Derrick May and Laurent Garnier made him decide to (temporarily) give up interior architecture and focus on his DJing career. In 2003 his "Lost Memories" EP became another hit. In the same year Joris was crowned Talent of the Year at the Dutch DJ Awards.

Wang Leehom's new Chinese album is dropping at the end of 2014 and he never fails to surprise us. Early on in his career he set the standard for Chinese R&B; with the award winning album "Revolution". In his album, "Heroes of Earth", Leehom created a sound he called "Chinked-Out" which helped define the sound of Chinese hip-hop. Now, his collaboration with DJ Avicii on "Lose Myself" has not only created buzz for the new album, it's also opened the doors for electronic dance music in China. Avicii's signature rhythms and Leehom's emotional melodies create a fresh blend of East meets West. The Chinese lyrics written by Leehom are a double entendre. WLH says "The structure of EDM songs are quite different from what Chinese audiences are used to. There are long instrumental interludes (known as the drop). In order to perceive this idea, Jean Michel Jarre decided to create a group called "The ViZitors" - with the group comprising of people he has worked with before, including Tetsuya "TK" Komuro and Francis Rimbert. The concert was designed by long-term collaborator Mark Fisher, who has designed every Jarre concert since The China Concerts during 1981. The original design concept of the concert looked fascinating, originally being intended to be a large-scale concert on par with previous outdoor concerts by Jean Michel Jarre. This was not to be the case though, and although still looking very good, turned out to be more or less a showcase for Jean Michel and TK's "new" music and The ViZitors. Whether this was down to not very much funding or the lack of time in which to conceive such a large-scale project still remains to be confirmed. The concert was also split into 2 distinct parts, with ACT 2 being the concert by "The ViZitors". During the time prior to the concert, Jean Michel flew over to Arthur Clarke's home in Sri Lanka to film him, which was later to be used as the introductions to each of the songs during the concert. The "script" consisted of various subjects, such as the social lives of aliens, loneliness in space, sexual acts in the weightlessness of space, among other things. The event didn't even amass hardly any public and press acknowledgment either, with only a 2 minute slot on Euronews and a 2-page article in the French magazine VSD, although the entire event was broadcasted live on Japanese TV. The UK newspaper, The Sunday Times did manage to feature an article a day prior to the concert on Sunday December 31st 2000, and can be found here. Also, originally the whole event was going to be broadcast live over the Internet, but in the end, all that was broadcasted was ACT 3, and that was it. So unfortunately, due to the lack of response on behalf of the press and the general public, the ViZitors project has now been put on ice (there was also originally going to be an album too with 3 extra tracks). Luckily though, in order for the whole design idea of the images and projections used during the concert to NOT fall into obscurity, they were reused during the Akropolis concerts in Athens in June 2001. Joris Voorn is a record producer and Dj from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Raised in a musical family, music naturally became an intrinsic part of Voorn's life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the mid-90's, and he started DJ'ing in 1997.
By the end of 2000 Joris began building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release
called 'muted trax pt.1' on Keynote. His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig,
Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia. In 2003 'Lost memories Pt.1' was released on Technasia's SINO label
and was followed by 'Lost memories Pt.2' containing the anthem 'Incident' which was heard on dancefloors
around the world.
After the success of 'Incident', Voorn released his debut cd album called 'Future History' on the Sino label.
Encompassing 3 years of ideas and inspiration, the cd contains 20 diverse tracks, a seamless soundscape that
represents his arrival as one of the most relevant techno producers of this time.
In the summer of 2005 Joris Voorn's new personal outlet called 'green' saw the light of day. 'A dedicated mind'
was released as the first EP, which garnered success globally. He also completed his debut DJ mix CD for the
Fuse club in Belgium. After Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Technasia, Fuse presented Joris Voorn to mix part 4 of their
international resident's dj mix albums. The mix contained over 40 tracks of timeless techno music mixed with the
help of Ableton Live for its endless mixing and editing possibilities.
In 2006 the sophomore release under Voorn's Green label, named 'MPX_309', was a crossover techno work that
was played out by techno, minimal, house and trance DJs. During the same year Voorn created his second
album, released worldwide in June 2007. This new piece of work called 'From a deep place' featured many
different styles of electronic music, ranging from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, house and deep soulful
techno.
The focus point of the 'From a deep place' CD has been the listener rather than the dancer and was received
enthusiastically by the electronic music community. Some of the works were edited to more dj friendly tracks for
the vinyl release of the album. During the summer of 2007 Joris has been touring with his new live performance in
support of his album release.
More recently, Joris has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for respected and diverse artists
such as Robert Babicz, Nic Fanciulli, Slam, Steve Angello, Sebo K and Jerome Sydenham. The 'Dark Flower
Magnolia Mix' for Robert Babicz turned out to be another summer anthem in electronic dance music, and was a
favourite of DJ's like Sven Vath, Dubfire, Pete Tong and John Digweed among many others.
In 2008, following the success of his resident advisor podcast, Joris was invited to produce episode 14 of the
Balance DJ mix CD series from Australia. Following in the footsteps of James Holden and Lee Burridge, Joris

Joris Voorn is a record producer and Dj from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Raised in a musical family, music naturally became an intrinsic part of Voorn's life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the mid-90's, and he started DJ'ing in 1997.
By the end of 2000 Joris began building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release
called 'muted trax pt.1' on Keynote. His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig,
Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia. In 2003 'Lost memories Pt.1' was released on Technasia's SINO label
and was followed by 'Lost memories Pt.2' containing the anthem 'Incident' which was heard on dancefloors
around the world.
After the success of 'Incident', Voorn released his debut cd album called 'Future History' on the Sino label.
Encompassing 3 years of ideas and inspiration, the cd contains 20 diverse tracks, a seamless soundscape that
represents his arrival as one of the most relevant techno producers of this time.
In the summer of 2005 Joris Voorn's new personal outlet called 'green' saw the light of day. 'A dedicated mind'
was released as the first EP, which garnered success globally. He also completed his debut DJ mix CD for the
Fuse club in Belgium. After Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Technasia, Fuse presented Joris Voorn to mix part 4 of their
international resident's dj mix albums. The mix contained over 40 tracks of timeless techno music mixed with the
help of Ableton Live for its endless mixing and editing possibilities.
In 2006 the sophomore release under Voorn's Green label, named 'MPX_309', was a crossover techno work that
was played out by techno, minimal, house and trance DJs. During the same year Voorn created his second
album, released worldwide in June 2007. This new piece of work called 'From a deep place' featured many
different styles of electronic music, ranging from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, house and deep soulful
techno.
The focus point of the 'From a deep place' CD has been the listener rather than the dancer and was received
enthusiastically by the electronic music community. Some of the works were edited to more dj friendly tracks for
the vinyl release of the album. During the summer of 2007 Joris has been touring with his new live performance in
support of his album release.
More recently, Joris has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for respected and diverse artists
such as Robert Babicz, Nic Fanciulli, Slam, Steve Angello, Sebo K and Jerome Sydenham. The 'Dark Flower
Magnolia Mix' for Robert Babicz turned out to be another summer anthem in electronic dance music, and was a
favourite of DJ's like Sven Vath, Dubfire, Pete Tong and John Digweed among many others.
In 2008, following the success of his resident advisor podcast, Joris was invited to produce episode 14 of the
Balance DJ mix CD series from Australia. Following in the footsteps of James Holden and Lee Burridge, Joris

Avicii直擊人心的電音節奏，加上王力宏最擅長的抒情旋律線，在歌曲中可以聽到王力宏與Avicii不同風格的碰撞和融合。除了曲是兩人共同創作，中文歌詞則由王力宏一手包辦，王力宏說歌詞內的忘我其實代表了兩個意義：「EDM的結構跟一般我們習慣的流行音樂比較不同，特色是通常會有很長的間奏。這首歌也希望引導大家喜歡上EDM曲風，告訴大家單純忘我的”泡”在音樂裡就可以忘記煩惱、紓緩壓力。另外就是延伸成一個愛情故事，分手後女生已經忘了我，但我卻還是念念不忘，希望她可以教我如何走出來，忘了她，也忘了自己的傷痛。」王力宏用心琢磨的巧思，也讓西方一向直來直往的EDM音樂更增添了一點東方細膩抒情的美。

Wang Leehom's new Chinese album is dropping at the end of 2014 and he never fails to surprise us. Early on in his career he set the standard for Chinese R&B; with the award winning album "Revolution". In his album, "Heroes of Earth", Leehom created a sound he called "Chinked-Out" which helped define the sound of Chinese hip-hop. Now, his collaboration with DJ Avicii on "Lose Myself" has not only created buzz for the new album, it's also opened the doors for electronic dance music in China.
Avicii's signature rhythms and Leehom's emotional melodies create a fresh blend of East meets West. The Chinese lyrics written by Leehom are a double entendre. WLH says "The structure of EDM songs are quite different from what Chinese audiences are used to. There are long instrumental interludes (known as the drop). I hope 'Lose Myself' can show audiences how to appreciate EDM. First, to 'lose yourself' in the music and forget the worries and stresses of everyday life. But also, there's a sad love story here. A girl has forgotten me but I just can't get over her. And I wish she could teach me just how to forget the past."

Information:
To commemorate the fact that it was now the year 2001, and to tie in with the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", Jean Michel Jarre collaborated with Arthur C Clarke to conceive a concert based around the theme and ideas of the film and book written by the famous author.
In order to perceive this idea, Jean Michel Jarre decided to create a group called "The ViZitors" - with the group comprising of people he has worked with before, including Tetsuya "TK" Komuro and Francis Rimbert.
The concert was designed by long-term collaborator Mark Fisher, who has designed every Jarre concert since The China Concerts during 1981. The original design concept of the concert looked fascinating, originally being intended to be a large-scale concert on par with previous outdoor concerts by Jean Michel Jarre. This was not to be the case though, and although still looking very good, turned out to be more or less a showcase for Jean Michel and TK's "new" music and The ViZitors. Whether this was down to not very much funding or the lack of time in which to conceive such a large-scale project still remains to be confirmed. The concert was also split into 2 distinct parts, with ACT 2 being the concert by "The ViZitors".
During the time prior to the concert, Jean Michel flew over to Arthur Clarke's home in Sri Lanka to film him, which was later to be used as the introductions to each of the songs during the concert. The "script" consisted of various subjects, such as the social lives of aliens, loneliness in space, sexual acts in the weightlessness of space, among other things.
The event didn't even amass hardly any public and press acknowledgment either, with only a 2 minute slot on Euronews and a 2-page article in the French magazine VSD, although the entire event was broadcasted live on Japanese TV. The UK newspaper, The Sunday Times did manage to feature an article a day prior to the concert on Sunday December 31st 2000, and can be found here. Also, originally the whole event was going to be broadcast live over the Internet, but in the end, all that was broadcasted was ACT 3, and that was it.
So unfortunately, due to the lack of response on behalf of the press and the general public, the ViZitors project has now been put on ice (there was also originally going to be an album too with 3 extra tracks). Luckily though, in order for the whole design idea of the images and projections used during the concert to NOT fall into obscurity, they were reused during the Akropolis concerts in Athens in June 2001.

Information:
To commemorate the fact that it was now the year 2001, and to tie in with the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", Jean Michel Jarre collaborated with Arthur C Clarke to conceive a concert based around the theme and ideas of the film and book written by the famous author.
In order to perceive this idea, Jean Michel Jarre decided to create a group called "The ViZitors" - with the group comprising of people he has worked with before, including Tetsuya "TK" Komuro and Francis Rimbert.
The concert was designed by long-term collaborator Mark Fisher, who has designed every Jarre concert since The China Concerts during 1981. The original design concept of the concert looked fascinating, originally being intended to be a large-scale concert on par with previous outdoor concerts by Jean Michel Jarre. This was not to be the case though, and although still looking very good, turned out to be more or less a showcase for Jean Michel and TK's "new" music and The ViZitors. Whether this was down to not very much funding or the lack of time in which to conceive such a large-scale project still remains to be confirmed. The concert was also split into 2 distinct parts, with ACT 2 being the concert by "The ViZitors".
During the time prior to the concert, Jean Michel flew over to Arthur Clarke's home in Sri Lanka to film him, which was later to be used as the introductions to each of the songs during the concert. The "script" consisted of various subjects, such as the social lives of aliens, loneliness in space, sexual acts in the weightlessness of space, among other things.
The event didn't even amass hardly any public and press acknowledgment either, with only a 2 minute slot on Euronews and a 2-page article in the French magazine VSD, although the entire event was broadcasted live on Japanese TV. The UK newspaper, The Sunday Times did manage to feature an article a day prior to the concert on Sunday December 31st 2000, and can be found here. Also, originally the whole event was going to be broadcast live over the Internet, but in the end, all that was broadcasted was ACT 3, and that was it.
So unfortunately, due to the lack of response on behalf of the press and the general public, the ViZitors project has now been put on ice (there was also originally going to be an album too with 3 extra tracks). Luckily though, in order for the whole design idea of the images and projections used during the concert to NOT fall into obscurity, they were reused during the Akropolis concerts in Athens in June 2001.

Famous explorer Marco Polo referred to Suzhou as the ‘Venice of the East’, a city that is particularly famous for its gardens. Many of its extremely elegant buildings are remnants of a glorious past. Yunnan´s most famous site is the unique Stone Forest Of Shi Lin, a forest of rock that extends for 27,000 hectares. Hong Kong is a city of the superlative with glimmering skyscrapers that seem to take root in the sky and one elegant building after another with shining glass and hi-tech facades. China is a world within a world!

Top Things to do in China!
I know that this is long overdue and that I haven't posted a video in a while, but seriously China!! Anyways, this list is less about the top attractions in China and more about the best ones. Moreover, it features the off the beaten path destinations in China as well. So what are the most incredible things to do in China. Here's my take:
10) Changsha and the Mao Zedong Staute (长沙和毛泽东雕像)
This is crazy, in the capital of Hunan Province there's a giant statue of Mao Zedong that looks like something out of Mount Rushmore. Definitely a top thing to see in China.
9) Bifengxia Panda Base (碧峰峡大熊猫保护区)
The Panda Center in Chengdu is a bit over-touristed. That's why it's a great option to head to Bifengxia on the edge of the village of Ya'an, and up to this amazing place to visit in China.
8) Dunhuang Oasis (敦煌绿洲)
Up in Gansu Province there are a lot of amazing places to see! The Dunhuang Desert Oasis is an extension of the Gobi and is unreal!
7) The Westernmost Section of the Great Wall of China in Jiayuguan (对中国的嘉峪关长城的最西端科)
Sure, most people travel China specifically to see the Great Wall. Most head to Beijing. If you want an off-the-beaten-path option than Jiayuguan is perfect.
6) Yangshuo (阳朔)
In Guanxi Province Yangshuo is awesome. Limestone karst landscapes and beautiful river scenes make this an easy addition to the top things to see in China.
5) Mati Si and the Cliff Temples (马蒂思崖寺)
Mati Si is really cool. It's famous for the Buddhist Cliff temples, and they are very cool. Full of grottos and caves, this is a must see in China.
4) Zhangye Rainbow Mountains (张掖彩虹山)
This was probably the #1 thing I was looking forward to in China. However, most people don't even know about it. The Zhangye Rainbow Mountains are unreal, and a worthy addition to a travel itinerary in China that is full of amazing attractions.
3) Shangrila and the Songzanlin Monastery (香格里拉和松赞林寺)
Up on the border of Tibet in Yunan Province, the town of Shangrila is a really interesting visit. Lots of colourful people, interesting architecture, and the amazing Songzanlin Monastery.
2) Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces (龙的骨干梯田)
Near Guilin, the Drangon's Backbone Rice Terraces are a must-see in China. They were close to ending up as the number one thing to see in China on this list, but even the amazing landscapes of this place couldn't beat out...
1) Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and the Avatar Mountains (张家界国家森林公园和阿凡达山)
Actually, this was fairly easily my #1 Thing to see in China. The avatar mountains in Zhangjiajie National Forest park are crazy cool. The incredible mountains were the inspiration for the movie avatar. You need to see this place with your own eyes!

Top Things to do in China!
I know that this is long overdue and that I haven't posted a video in a while, but seriously China!! Anyways, this list is less about the top attractions in China and more about the best ones. Moreover, it features the off the beaten path destinations in China as well. So what are the most incredible things to do in China. Here's my take:

In part two of my video travel guide to India I travel to Bodhgaya, one of the most sacred places in all of the Buddhist religion. It was at this location 2,500 years ago that a young Prince Siddhartha sat under a fig tree, meditated and found enlightenment, thus becoming the Buddha.
I start off by visiting the many temples that have been built by various Buddhists from around the world, including temples dedicated to Buddhists living in China, Japan, Tibet and Nepal. I then visit the Tergar Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist complexes in the region, which is a short walk from the main road.
I then head to the sacred Mahabodhi Temple complex in the center of town. At sunset it is a scenic, peaceful time to explore the grounds, which include a large monument built at the Bodhi Tree itself, as well as a sprawling garden area where people come from around the world to meditate.

Joris Voorn is a record producer and Dj from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Raised in a musical family, music naturally became an intrinsic part of Voorn's life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the mid-90's, and he started DJ'ing in 1997.
By the end of 2000 Joris began building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release
called 'muted trax pt.1' on Keynote. His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig,
Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia. In 2003 'Lost memories Pt.1' was released on Technasia's SINO label
and was followed by 'Lost memories Pt.2' containing the anthem 'Incident' which was heard on dancefloors
around the world.
After the success of 'Incident', Voorn released his debut cd album called 'Future History' on the Sino label.
Encompassing 3 years of ideas and inspiration, the cd contains 20 diverse tracks, a seamless soundscape that
represents his arrival as one of the most relevant techno producers of this time.
In the summer of 2005 Joris Voorn's new personal outlet called 'green' saw the light of day. 'A dedicated mind'
was released as the first EP, which garnered success globally. He also completed his debut DJ mix CD for the
Fuse club in Belgium. After Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Technasia, Fuse presented Joris Voorn to mix part 4 of their
international resident's dj mix albums. The mix contained over 40 tracks of timeless techno music mixed with the
help of Ableton Live for its endless mixing and editing possibilities.
In 2006 the sophomore release under Voorn's Green label, named 'MPX_309', was a crossover techno work that
was played out by techno, minimal, house and trance DJs. During the same year Voorn created his second
album, released worldwide in June 2007. This new piece of work called 'From a deep place' featured many
different styles of electronic music, ranging from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, house and deep soulful
techno.
The focus point of the 'From a deep place' CD has been the listener rather than the dancer and was received
enthusiastically by the electronic music community. Some of the works were edited to more dj friendly tracks for
the vinyl release of the album. During the summer of 2007 Joris has been touring with his new live performance in
support of his album release.
More recently, Joris has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for respected and diverse artists
such as Robert Babicz, Nic Fanciulli, Slam, Steve Angello, Sebo K and Jerome Sydenham. The 'Dark Flower
Magnolia Mix' for Robert Babicz turned out to be another summer anthem in electronic dance music, and was a

Balance DJ mix CD series from Australia. Following in the footsteps of James Holden and Lee Burridge, Joris
constructed a layered and seamless mix of electronic dance music on a double CD. An epic mix in the very best
sense of the word, Balance 014 achieves the rare feat of combining variety and consistency, making it perfect for
trainspotters and dancers alike. The tracks change quickly and quietly, but the groove stays. An accompanying
world tour will follow where Joris will bring the essence of this studio project to the stage, using all different
elements of the mix into a full range club experience.
Having established himself as a leading producer and DJ, Joris will be embarking on a new project called 'A green
night'. Inspired by his surroundings, which is never limited to the dancefloor, Joris and his team will be creating a
night in several festivals and clubs, exploring the possibilities of combining music and visual arts. This year the
project will be developed, tested and finetuned in selected clubs.
As a DJ and live performer Joris Voorn has joined an elite group of international DJ's whose musical talent has
acquired global appeal. He has performed across Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Austsralia,

Joris Voorn is a record producer and Dj from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Raised in a musical family, music naturally became an intrinsic part of Voorn's life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the mid-90's, and he started DJ'ing in 1997.
By the end of 2000 Joris began building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release
called 'muted trax pt.1' on Keynote. His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig,
Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia. In 2003 'Lost memories Pt.1' was released on Technasia's SINO label
and was followed by 'Lost memories Pt.2' containing the anthem 'Incident' which was heard on dancefloors
around the world.
After the success of 'Incident', Voorn released his debut cd album called 'Future History' on the Sino label.
Encompassing 3 years of ideas and inspiration, the cd contains 20 diverse tracks, a seamless soundscape that
represents his arrival as one of the most relevant techno producers of this time.
In the summer of 2005 Joris Voorn's new personal outlet called 'green' saw the light of day. 'A dedicated mind'
was released as the first EP, which garnered success globally. He also completed his debut DJ mix CD for the
Fuse club in Belgium. After Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Technasia, Fuse presented Joris Voorn to mix part 4 of their
international resident's dj mix albums. The mix contained over 40 tracks of timeless techno music mixed with the
help of Ableton Live for its endless mixing and editing possibilities.
In 2006 the sophomore release under Voorn's Green label, named 'MPX_309', was a crossover techno work that
was played out by techno, minimal, house and trance DJs. During the same year Voorn created his second
album, released worldwide in June 2007. This new piece of work called 'From a deep place' featured many
different styles of electronic music, ranging from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, house and deep soulful
techno.
The focus point of the 'From a deep place' CD has been the listener rather than the dancer and was received
enthusiastically by the electronic music community. Some of the works were edited to more dj friendly tracks for
the vinyl release of the album. During the summer of 2007 Joris has been touring with his new live performance in
support of his album release.
More recently, Joris has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for respected and diverse artists
such as Robert Babicz, Nic Fanciulli, Slam, Steve Angello, Sebo K and Jerome Sydenham. The 'Dark Flower
Magnolia Mix' for Robert Babicz turned out to be another summer anthem in electronic dance music, and was a
favourite of DJ's like Sven Vath, Dubfire, Pete Tong and John Digweed among many others.

Avicii直擊人心的電音節奏，加上王力宏最擅長的抒情旋律線，在歌曲中可以聽到王力宏與Avicii不同風格的碰撞和融合。除了曲是兩人共同創作，中文歌詞則由王力宏一手包辦，王力宏說歌詞內的忘我其實代表了兩個意義：「EDM的結構跟一般我們習慣的流行音樂比較不同，特色是通常會有很長的間奏。這首歌也希望引導大家喜歡上EDM曲風，告訴大家單純忘我的”泡”在音樂裡就可以忘記煩惱、紓緩壓力。另外就是延伸成一個愛情故事，分手後女生已經忘了我，但我卻還是念念不忘，希望她可以教我如何走出來，忘了她，也忘了自己的傷痛。」王力宏用心琢磨的巧思，也讓西方一向直來直往的EDM音樂更增添了一點東方細膩抒情的美。

Wang Leehom's new Chinese album is dropping at the end of 2014 and he never fails to surprise us. Early on in his career he set the standard for Chinese R&B; with the award winning album "Revolution". In his album, "Heroes of Earth", Leehom created a sound he called "Chinked-Out" which helped define the sound of Chinese hip-hop. Now, his collaboration with DJ Avicii on "Lose Myself" has not only created buzz for the new album, it's also opened the doors for electronic dance music in China.
Avicii's signature rhythms and Leehom's emotional melodies create a fresh blend of East meets West. The Chinese lyrics written by Leehom are a double entendre. WLH says "The structure of EDM songs are quite different from what Chinese audiences are used to. There are long instrumental interludes (known as the drop). I hope 'Lose Myself' can show audiences how to appreciate EDM. First, to 'lose yourself' in the music and forget the worries and stresses of everyday life. But also, there's a sad love story here. A girl has forgotten me but I just can't get over her. And I wish she could teach me just how to forget the past."

Information:
To commemorate the fact that it was now the year 2001, and to tie in with the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", Jean Michel Jarre collaborated with Arthur C Clarke to conceive a concert based around the theme and ideas of the film and book written by the famous author.
In order to perceive this idea, Jean Michel Jarre decided to create a group called "The ViZitors" - with the group comprising of people he has worked with before, including Tetsuya "TK" Komuro and Francis Rimbert.
The concert was designed by long-term collaborator Mark Fisher, who has designed every Jarre concert since The China Concerts during 1981. The original design concept of the concert looked fascinating, originally being intended to be a large-scale concert on par with previous outdoor concerts by Jean Michel Jarre. This was not to be the case though, and although still looking very good, turned out to be more or less a showcase for Jean Michel and TK's "new" music and The ViZitors. Whether this was down to not very much funding or the lack of time in which to conceive such a large-scale project still remains to be confirmed. The concert was also split into 2 distinct parts, with ACT 2 being the concert by "The ViZitors".
During the time prior to the concert, Jean Michel flew over to Arthur Clarke's home in Sri Lanka to film him, which was later to be used as the introductions to each of the songs during the concert. The "script" consisted of various subjects, such as the social lives of aliens, loneliness in space, sexual acts in the weightlessness of space, among other things.
The event didn't even amass hardly any public and press acknowledgment either, with only a 2 minute slot on Euronews and a 2-page article in the French magazine VSD, although the entire event was broadcasted live on Japanese TV. The UK newspaper, The Sunday Times did manage to feature an article a day prior to the concert on Sunday December 31st 2000, and can be found here. Also, originally the whole event was going to be broadcast live over the Internet, but in the end, all that was broadcasted was ACT 3, and that was it.
So unfortunately, due to the lack of response on behalf of the press and the general public, the ViZitors project has now been put on ice (there was also originally going to be an album too with 3 extra tracks). Luckily though, in order for the whole design idea of the images and projections used during the concert to NOT fall into obscurity, they were reused during the Akropolis concerts in Athens in June 2001.

Information:
To commemorate the fact that it was now the year 2001, and to tie in with the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", Jean Michel Jarre collaborated with Arthur C Clarke to conceive a concert based around the theme and ideas of the film and book written by the famous author.
In order to perceive this idea, Jean Michel Jarre decided to create a group called "The ViZitors" - with the group comprising of people he has worked with before, including Tetsuya "TK" Komuro and Francis Rimbert.
The concert was designed by long-term collaborator Mark Fisher, who has designed every Jarre concert since The China Concerts during 1981. The original design concept of the concert looked fascinating, originally being intended to be a large-scale concert on par with previous outdoor concerts by Jean Michel Jarre. This was not to be the case though, and although still looking very good, turned out to be more or less a showcase for Jean Michel and TK's "new" music and The ViZitors. Whether this was down to not very much funding or the lack of time in which to conceive such a large-scale project still remains to be confirmed. The concert was also split into 2 distinct parts, with ACT 2 being the concert by "The ViZitors".
During the time prior to the concert, Jean Michel flew over to Arthur Clarke's home in Sri Lanka to film him, which was later to be used as the introductions to each of the songs during the concert. The "script" consisted of various subjects, such as the social lives of aliens, loneliness in space, sexual acts in the weightlessness of space, among other things.
The event didn't even amass hardly any public and press acknowledgment either, with only a 2 minute slot on Euronews and a 2-page article in the French magazine VSD, although the entire event was broadcasted live on Japanese TV. The UK newspaper, The Sunday Times did manage to feature an article a day prior to the concert on Sunday December 31st 2000, and can be found here. Also, originally the whole event was going to be broadcast live over the Internet, but in the end, all that was broadcasted was ACT 3, and that was it.
So unfortunately, due to the lack of response on behalf of the press and the general public, the ViZitors project has now been put on ice (there was also originally going to be an album too with 3 extra tracks). Luckily though, in order for the whole design idea of the images and projections used during the concert to NOT fall into obscurity, they were reused during the Akropolis concerts in Athens in June 2001.
