Ahn wrote the lyrics for the song about a heartbroken man who wishes the loss of his lover could be a dream. Sweet Sorrow participated in the vocal. Danny wrote different lyrics instead of just translating the japanese lyrics. I think he did a good job because the korean lyrics are very beautiful (This is my fav part: "If all of this were only a dream, if you were the person to wake me/I'd hold you tight in my embrace when I open my eyes/I wouldn't let you go ever again."). I also loved the arrangement, the rap parts included on Danny's version of the song and Sweet Sorrows beautiful vocals.
So although the japanese version by Chemistry is good too, I actually prefer the korean rap version by Danny feat. Sweet Sorrow.
Ah! I love the music video too! It has a simple, but very poetic concept.

'연애 말고 결혼' OST Part3 '하루만' 출시!

최근 god로 화려하게 돌아온 가수 손호영과 데니안이 tvN 금토드라마 '연애 말고 결혼'의 세 번째 OST에 참여했다.
tvN '연애 말고 결혼'은 주장미(한그루 분)를 사이에 두고 공기태(연우진)와 한여름(정진운)의 미묘한 삼각관계로 시청자들을 설레게 하며 지속 인기 상승세를 이어가고 있다.
특히 '하루만'은 지난 26일 8회 마지막 장면 중 한그루가 드레스를 입고 눈물을 흘리며 도망치는 장면에서 깜짝 공개된 바 있다. 가슴 절절한 노랫말과 손호영의 폭발적인 가창이 드라마 영상과 어우러지며 드라마의 몰입감을 더욱 높였으며 음원 발매에 대한 기대감도 최고조에 달했다.
'하루만'은 몽환적인 피아노 선율을 시작으로 잔잔함과 화려함을 오가며 곡 분위기를 고조시키는 오케스트라에 브릿팝 느낌의 기타연주, 그리고 힙합 비트가 어우러져 존 발라드 곡들과 차별되는 고급스러운 하이브리드 발라드곡으로 완성됐다.
여기에 손호영의 애절한 보컬과, 데니안의 호소력 짙은 랩핑이 완벽한 호흡을 보여주고 있다.
"하루만 그 사람 곁에 머물고 싶다”는 노랫말의 감성을 극대화시켜 주는 손호영의 소름 돋는 가창력은, 그동안 보여줬던 자신의 음악에서 한발 더 도약한 새로운 면모를 유감없이 보여준다.
목이 메인 듯한 슬픔을 표현해 내는 도입부를 비롯해 강력한 고음과 아름다운 가성을 넘나드는 보컬로 곡을 드라마틱하게 표현해 냈다.

Danny Ahn
Danny Ahn (Korean name: Ahn Shin-won; 안신원) was born December, 22 1978 in Seattle, Washington. He is a Korean American actor and rapper of the South Korean boy band g.o.d. He is notable for his unique rapping. He has one older sister. He attended Department of Theater/Acting in Dankuk University.
Early life
Ahn was born on December 22, 1978 in Seattle, Washington and holds American citizenship. He developed an interest in music from a young age, and during high school, decided that he wanted to become a singer. Ahn attended Dankuk University to study acting, and after his studies, made his professional music debut in the K-pop industry as a back-up singer for the vocalist Uhm Junghwa. In 1998, Ahn's cousin Joon Park was holding auditions for his project group g.o.d and asked Ahn if he would like to be a singer in the group. Ahn agreed and was recruited without needing to audition.
Career
Ahn's professional career began with his debut in the K-pop industry as a rapper for singer Uhm Jung-hwa. From there, he became a part of the boyband g.o.d (short for "Groove Overdose"); the group went on the become one of the most popular K-pop groups in the 2000s. He released his solo album on May 28, 2007, featuring the digital single "If It Were A Dream" (feat. Sweet Sorrow). Additionally, he also served as a radio DJ on the show Kiss the Radio.

Danny Swain, better known by his mononymous stage name Danny! (/ˈdæniˈ/ dan-EE), is an American recording artist and record producer.
Danny! is a former student of the Savannah College of Art & Design; he often wears a wool necktie and an Australian rounded crown boss-of-the-plains hat, and has gained notoriety for prank-calling celebrities. Danny! rose to prominence shortly following the proclamation by The Roots drummer Questlove that there was strong interest from JAY Z; he was subsequently signed as the flagship artist to Questlove's re-launched Okayplayer Records after years of being loosely affiliated with the company. In support of the new venture Danny! made his television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, premiering his song "Evil" alongside The Roots.
Danny! would field praise for his concept records Charm and And I Love H.E.R., the latter named by ABC News as one of the best 50 albums released that year, before releasing the "anti-album" Where Is Danny?. After signing to Okayplayer Records in late 2012 Danny! completed his trilogy of conceptual albums with Payback, cited by Allmusic as one of the best hip-hop releases of the year. Ebony Magazine has listed Danny! among other rising artists in their "Leaders of the New School" piece, calling Danny! one of a handful of "innovators";GQ would later reiterate the same regarding Danny!'s music production. Currently Danny! is a songwriter/composer for Extreme Music, the production library music subsidiary of Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

Danny (TV series)
Danny is an American television sitcom that aired on CBS. The series was created, executive produced and starred Daniel Stern.
It was one of the last comedies to aired to air on CBS's Friday night lineup airing along with The Ellen Show which premiered at the same time. The series premiered on September 28, 2001 and was canceled on October 5, 2001 after only two episodes aired, making it the first series to be canceled in the 2001 Fall TV season.
Premise
Danny is recently separated father struggling to raise his two teenage kids. Despite just turning 40, He still wants to pursue his lifelong dreams all while running the town's local community center.

Ahn wrote the lyrics for the song about a heartbroken man who wishes the loss of his lover could be a dream. Sweet Sorrow participated in the vocal. Danny wrote different lyrics instead of just translating the japanese lyrics. I think he did a good job because the korean lyrics are very beautiful (This is my fav part: "If all of this were only a dream, if you were the person to wake me/I'd hold you tight in my embrace when I open my eyes/I wouldn't let you go ever again."). I also loved the arrangement, the rap parts included on Danny's version of the song and Sweet Sorrows beautiful vocals.
So although the japanese version by Chemistry is good too, I actually prefer the korean rap version by Danny feat. Sweet Sorrow.
Ah! I love the music video too! It has a simple, but very poetic concept.

최근 god로 화려하게 돌아온 가수 손호영과 데니안이 tvN 금토드라마 '연애 말고 결혼'의 세 번째 OST에 참여했다.
tvN '연애 말고 결혼'은 주장미(한그루 분)를 사이에 두고 공기태(연우진)와 한여름(정진운)의 미묘한 삼각관계로 시청자들을 설레게 하며 지속 인기 상승세를 이어가고 있다.
특히 '하루만'은 지난 26일 8회 마지막 장면 중 한그루가 드레스를 입고 눈물을 흘리며 도망치는 장면에서 깜짝 공개된 바 있다. 가슴 절절한 노랫말과 손호영의 폭발적인 가창이 드라마 영상과 어우러지며 드라마의 몰입감을 더욱 높였으며 음원 발매에 대한 기대감도 최고조에 달했다.
'하루만'은 몽환적인 피아노 선율을 시작으로 잔잔함과 화려함을 오가며 곡 분위기를 고조시키는 오케스트라에 브릿팝 느낌의 기타연주, 그리고 힙합 비트가 어우러져 존 발라드 곡들과 차별되는 고급스러운 하이브리드 발라드곡으로 완성됐다.
여기에 손호영의 애절한 보컬과, 데니안의 호소력 짙은 랩핑이 완벽한 호흡을 보여주고 있다.
"하루만 그 사람 곁에 머물고 싶다”는 노랫말의 감성을 극대화시켜 주는 손호영의 소름 돋는 가창력은, 그동안 보여줬던 자신의 음악에서 한발 더 도약한 새로운 면모를 유감없이 보여준다.
목이 메인 듯한 슬픔을 표현해 내는 도입부를 비롯해 강력한 고음과 아름다운 가성을 넘나드는 보컬로 곡을 드라마틱하게 표현해 냈다.

"'If it were a dream' is a rap remake of the Japanese band Chemistry's 'Your name never gone.' Ahn wrote the lyrics for the song about a heartbroken man who wishes the loss of his lover could be a dream. Sweet Sorrow participated in the vocal. The song well combines grand orchestration, trendy hip-hop rhythm and sentimental guitar melody and rap." (End of article)
Danny wrote different lyrics instead of just translating the japanese lyrics. I think he did a good job because the korean lyrics are very beautiful (This is my fav part: "If all of this were only a dream, if you were the person to wake me/I'd hold you tight in my embrace when I open my eyes/I wouldn't let you go ever again."). I also loved the arrangement, the rap parts included on Danny's version of the song and Sweet Sorrows beautiful vocals.
So although the japanese version by Chemistry is good too, I actually prefer the korean rap version by Danny feat. Sweet Sorrow.
Ah! I love the music video too! It has a simple, but very poetic concept.

Danny Ahn (Korean name: Ahn Shin-won; 안신원) was born December, 22 1978 in Seattle, Washington. He is a Korean American actor and rapper of the South Korean boy band g.o.d. He is notable for his unique rapping. He has one older sister. He attended Department of Theater/Acting in Dankuk University.
Early life
Ahn was born on December 22, 1978 in Seattle, Washington and holds American citizenship. He developed an interest in music from a young age, and during high school, decided that he wanted to become a singer. Ahn attended Dankuk University to study acting, and after his studies, made his professional music debut in the K-pop industry as a back-up singer for the vocalist Uhm Junghwa. In 1998, Ahn's cousin Joon Park was holding auditions for his project group g.o.d and asked Ahn if he would like to be a singer in the group. Ahn agreed and was recruited without needing to audition.
Career
Ahn's professional career began with his debut in the K-pop industry as a rapper for singer Uhm Jung-hwa. From there, he became a part of the boyband g.o.d (short for "Groove Overdose"); the group went on the become one of the most popular K-pop groups in the 2000s. He released his solo album on May 28, 2007, featuring the digital single "If It Were A Dream" (feat. Sweet Sorrow). Additionally, he also served as a radio DJ on the show Kiss the Radio.
