Keith Morris (born September 18, 1955) is an American singer and songwriter known for his role as frontman of the hardcore punk bands Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Off!. Born and raised in Hermosa Beach, California, he formed Black Flag at the age of 21 with guitarist Greg Ginn and performed on the band's 1979 debut EP Nervous Breakdown. Shortly after leaving Black Flag in 1979, he formed the Circle Jerks with guitarist Greg Hetson; the band released seven albums between 1980 and 1995 and are currently on hiatus. In 2009 Morris formed the supergroup Off! with guitarist Dimitri Coats, bassist Steven Shane McDonald, and drummer Mario Rubalcaba. Morris has also appeared as a guest vocalist on several albums by other artists.
Morris was born September 18, 1955 and grew up in Hermosa Beach, California. His father, Jerry, had been a budding jazz drummer in his youth and practiced with visiting jazz groups at the Lighthouse Café, later opening a bait shop in the 1970s and striking up a friendship with Ozzie Cadena (both men's sons, Keith and Dez, later became singers in Black Flag). Keith attended Mira Costa High School, where brothers Greg and Raymond Ginn were also students, and graduated in 1973. He then studied fine art and painting at the Pasadena Arts Center while working at his father's bait shop. One of his co-workers at the shop was Bill Stevenson, a Mira Costa student eight years Morris' junior who would also go on to be a member of Black Flag.

Circle Jerks (stylized as Ciʀcle JƎʀᴋs) were an American hardcore punk band, formed in 1979 in Los Angeles, California. The group was founded by former Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris and Red Kross guitarist Greg Hetson. They were among the pre-eminent hardcore punk bands of the LA scene in the late 1970s.
The band broke up and reformed three times, sometimes with different bassists and/or drummers. They disbanded for the first time after the release of their fifth album, 1987's VI, as Hetson decided to continue touring and releasing albums with Bad Religion. They reunited around 1994 and recorded a reunion album, Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities, during the following year, followed by a tour. After that, the Circle Jerks once again parted ways as Hetson was still involved in Bad Religion. They reunited again c. 2001, but as of 2010, are on hiatus.
To date, Circle Jerks have released six studio albums, one compilation, a live album and a live DVD. Their last studio album, Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities, was released in 1995 and was the band's only reunion album to date.
Henry Rollins (born Henry Lawrence Garfield; February 13, 1961) is an American musician, writer, journalist, publisher, actor, motivational speaker, television and radio host, spoken word artist, comedian, and activist. Rollins hosts a weekly radio show on KCRW. He is also a regular columnist for LA Weekly and Rolling Stone Australia.
After performing for the short-lived Washington D.C.-based band State of Alert in 1980, Rollins fronted the California hardcore punk band Black Flag from August 1981 until mid-1986. Following the band's breakup, Rollins established the record label and publishing company 2.13.61 to release his spoken word albums, and formed the Rollins Band, which toured with a number of lineups from 1987 until 2003, and during 2006.
Since Black Flag disbanded, Rollins has hosted numerous radio shows, such as Harmony in My Head on Indie 103, and television shows such as The Henry Rollins Show, MTV's 120 Minutes, and Jackass. He had recurring dramatic roles in the second season of Sons of Anarchy, in the final seasons of the animated series The Legend of Korra as Zaheer, and has also had roles in several films. Rollins has also campaigned for various political causes in the United States, including promoting LGBT rights, World Hunger Relief, and an end to war in particular.

FLAG live at Irving Plaza, NYC September 2013. Video by http://www.sbgnyc.com FLAG — one of this year's two Black Flag reunions — blew through a number of US venues and festivals over the last couple of months, including highlight-worthy sets at both Riot Fest and Metallica's Orion Music + More Festival. Featuring Keith Morris (vocals), Dez Cadena (guitar/vocals), Chuck Dukowski (bass), Stephen Egerton (guitar), and Bill Stevenson (drums), it's a rare piece of quality concert footage that captures the veteran hardcore punks doing what they do best. This is an original song about how punk rock saved my life, then ruined it. Lyrics Broken beer bottles, broken teeth puke down on the coffin where I sit back half Od'd With a soggy pack of cigarettes and a flask as warm as piss I look back on the lonely life of a dying anarchist Although it don't sound right, PUNK ROCK RUINED MY LIFE! Dirty needles that did pierce my skin Tattoos of bands who ended up born again christian Seems I'm like my cowboy father, I've been hell raisin' But all he ever said is you look like a lesbian As he looked down down down, eyes upon the ground Upon my gravestone it will read, 'He hated almost everyone" Upon my conscience you will breath long after I'm dead and gone My friends will laugh and they will sing 'He lived a life out on the run' With winking smiles a...

Street artist Shepard Fairey's first punk rock show was the Circle Jerks which left a mark. On Saturday November 11, 2017 Shepard debutded his new show "Damaged" in a warehouse space in downtown Los Angeles. As far as live music was concerned Shepard spun an awesome punk rock DJ set , followed by performances from the Fever and Trademark, at the end of the evening the Shrine from Venice Beach played a set and for the finale, at Shepard's request, Keith Morris (Off!, Flag, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Midget Hand Job) came on stage to sing 5 Black Flag songs. Apologies for the quality of the video, recorded via Facebook live on an Iphone 6SPlus. There were software issues and it was struggle to just hold on to the camera in the surging crowd. This is a interview where I just listen to Current "OFF!' vocalist Keith Morris talk about his early years with his former bands Black Flag and Circle Jerks and some of the things that were going on around that time in Punk Rock . (This interview is about 50 min long)
Keith Morris is a punk rock icon who has influenced everyone from Green Day to Nirvana. A boisterous kid from Hermosa Beach who wanted nothing more than to sidestep inheriting his father’s bait and tackle empire, Keith helped launch the hardcore punk movement that steamrolled through Southern California in the late ’70s, as lead vocalist and founding member of Black Flag and The Circle Jerks. In between creating a new genre of music and helping define an era, Keith Morris has played with everyone from Chuck Berry to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, not to mention surviving drug and alcohol abuse, diabetes, and a suicide attempt on the Santa Monica Freeway. Punk rock means many things: a musical genre, a lifestyle, an attitude—Keith Morris personifies them all. Enjoy this after hours conversati...
