Cave of the Mounds, a natural limestone cave located near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, USA, is named for two nearby hills called the Blue Mounds. It is located in the southern slope of the east hill. The cave's beauty comes from its many varieties of mineral formations called speleothems. The Chicago Academy of Sciences considers the Cave of the Mounds to be "the significant cave of the upper Midwest" because of its beauty, and it is promoted as the "jewel box" of major American caves. In 1987, the United States Department of the Interior and the National Park Service designated the cave as a National Natural Landmark.
The limestone from which the cave was carved began forming approximately 488 million years ago, during the Ordovician Period. During this time, much of North America was covered with warm, shallow seas. Over millions of years, calcium carbonate shells from tiny marine organisms accumulated on the sea floor, forming enormous quantities of limestone. The type of limestone in which the cave was formed is called galena dolomite because of its high concentration of the lead ore galena.

I may have spent 45 years appearing on TV as a consumer advocate, but it is still an honor for me to be recognized by strangers. It happened again...this time in a very dark and damp place--Cave of the Mounds near Madison, WI. Becky, the nice and knowledgeable tour guide, pointed her flashlight and studied me like I was a stalagmite. " I've seen you on TV," she said. I've also been recognized as the creator of these videos for the Janesville Gazette. Folks in Janesville and Madison have come up to me to say they know me from my Gazette videos and appreciate them. Strangers being kind to an old fossil!

Joining the Mound-Makers Covenant is a bit trickier than some of the other ones, so I put this guide together to help everyone find the mound-makers covenant and get on with their slaying in PVP :) IMPORTANT NOTE: You cannot join the covenant if you have already killed the cursed greatwood boss. The steps in this guide must be completed prior to killing that boss. First, you'll want to travel to the undead settlement and make your way past the gathering around the burning tree with the fat lady. To the right of them is a wooden bridge. Run across it and go to the right, there will be a path exposed by rolling through some boxes. At the end of the path way there is a ladder up to the rooftops. GO up there and move to the right - there will be a big dude with a cage on his back. Don't fig...

This is the strangest cave in Ellora cave complex, commonly called "The Evil Cave" by locals. In the first part of the video, we'll take a look at how both archaeologists and historians are completely wrong, and in the second part I'll show you some shocking evidence that confirms some horrifying stories of abduction and even torture that are told by the locals about this cave. This is cave number 1 and the official story told by archaeologists and historians is that this is a Buddhist cave, but there is one small problem. It is not a Buddhist cave at all. For a place to be a Buddhist temple or a monastery, it has to have either a statue of Buddha or a stupa and this cave has no sculptures or symbols whatsoever. In fact, this is the only cave out of 34 caves in Ellora, that does not hav...

Reveals not only that North America was once ruled by an advanced race of giants but also that the Smithsonian has been actively suppressing the physical evidence for nearly 150 years. He shows how thousands of giant skeletons have been unearthed at Mound Builder sites across the continent, only to disappear from the historical record. He examines other concealed giant discoveries, such as the giant mummies found in Spirit Cave, Nevada, wrapped in fine textiles and dating to 8000 BCE; the hundreds of red-haired bog mummies found at sinkhole “cenotes” on the west coast of Florida and dating to 7500 BCE; and the ruins of the giants’ cities with populations in excess of 100,000 in Arizona, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Louisiana. Richard Dewhurst shows how this suppression began shortly after the ...

An ancient race of giants in North America. Extremely tall skeletons ranging from 7 feet up to a staggering 18 feet tall have been reportedly uncovered in prehistoric mounds, burial chambers, caves, geometric earthworks, and ancient battlefields. Strange anatomic anomalies such as double rows of teeth, horned skulls, massive jaws that fit over a modern face, and elongated skulls have also been reported. Many of these discoveries were sent to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., seemingly never to be heard about again. The Smithsonian's own records describe at least 17 giant skeletons in annual reports. This book examines a possible cover-up initiated by Smithsonian scientists starting in the late 1800s. The origins of “the tall ones” has been shrouded in mystery for centuries, b...

Strange stone tunnels and chambers, perhaps pre-historic, have been found in Leyden, Wendell, Pelham, Montague, New Salem, Whitingham, VT and throughout New England. Who built these structures and when? Why? Ashfield stonemason Jim Vieira has been exploring local stone chambers for years as a member of the Northeast Antiquities Research Association, which has studied these structures for 60 years. He describes the stone ceremonial landscape of New England, carbon-dating evidence and historical texts. His slides document local sites and others in New England, and he discusses what they represent and who may have built them.
