Gang, kini Samsung menjadi salah satu vendor besar yang memproduksi smartphone Android. Mulai dari lini low-end hingga high-end, semua udah dilahap oleh Samsung. Jadi bingung ya mau milih yang mana? Hehehe.. Namun sayang, harganya selalu lebih mahal dibanding vendor lainnya, Gang. Mau tahu alasannya?
1. Banyak Pasang Iklan
Mau tahu kenapa harga Xiaomi murah? Ini lantaran Xiaomi gak pernah ngiklan, Gang. Berbeda dengan Samsung yang iklan smartphone terbarunya bisa kalian lihat di berbagai media. Mulai dari TV, internet hingga poster di jalan. Samsung bahkan memasang iklan hingga di 58 negara, Gang!
Kalian pun tentu masih ingat dengan insiden meledaknya Galaxy Note 7 kan? Lantaran kekhawatirannya akan kemungkinan kehilangan konsumen, perusahaan asal Korea Selatan tersebut pun rela pasang iklan besar-besaran di November 2016 lalu. Samsung bahkan hingga memasang iklah di beberapa surat kabar utama Amerika Serikat demi meminta maaf sedalam-dalamnya atas insiden tersebut, hingga mengaku gagal menciptakan produk yang aman.
2. Vendor Ternama
Siapa sih yang gak tahu Samsung? Gak hanya smartphone, Samsung juga melahirkan banyak produk mulai dari TV, kulkas, tablet, laptop, kamera hingga elektronik lainnya. Dan lagi, smartphone keluaran Samsung telah terkenal memiliki fitur dan build quality yang baik.
3. Rutin Merilis Smartphone Baru
Bisa jadi alasan satu ini yang membuat harga smartphone Samsung melambung tinggi, tapi dengan spesifikasi yang terbilang pas-pasan. Dengan seringnya merilis smartphone baru yang ngikutin tren, maka mau gak mau harga smartphone baru ini harus lebih tinggi kan dari smartphone sebelumnya?
Mengapa bisa demikian? Logikanya, Samsung tentu menurunkan harga smartphone lama saat merilis yang baru, otomatis pendapatannya bakal menurun. Demikian pula jika merilis smartphone baru dengan harga yang sama seperti smartphone sebelumnya, Samsung pun bakal merugi.
4. Gak Mau Ketinggalan Tren
Waktu lagi tren-nya jaringan 4G LTE, Samsung mengeluarkan banyak smartphone baru yang support 4G lho, Gang. Dan seiring dengan permintaan yang tinggi, harganya pun ikut-ikutan dibanderol tinggi oleh Samsung. Gak terkecuali dengan tren-tren lainnya.
5. Gak Mau Kalah Dari Apple
Buat kalian yang melek teknologi dan media sosial, pasti tahu banget kan persaingan sengit yang terjadi di antara Apple dan Samsung? Entah saling nuntut hak paten, berlomba dalam menampilkan fitur baru ataupun saling sindir dalam iklan.
Fenomena ini sebenarnya dipicu oleh Samsung yang gak mau kalah dengan Apple, Gang. Kalo Apple mampu menjual iPhone dengan harga mahal, masa Samsung gak sanggup juga melakukannya? The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ (Plus) represent the most advanced Android smartphones on the market. The Galaxy S8 is not without it's quirks... It's got an unusual aspect ratio, lower than maximum screen resolution out of the box and no real enhancement to battery life (from the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge). That said the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are some of the more comfortable phones I've held. The change in aspect ratio give you a slender phone which still packs an enormous screen. The Galaxy S8 Plus has a 6.2-inch display and feels smaller in the hand than most 5.5-inch phones (including the iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel XL). The Samsung Galaxy S8 is likely the "screen champ" right now as well, with an amazing AMOLED panel and resolution up to 2,960 x 1,440 pixels. You will not be disappointed with the Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Still, the world of Android smartphones has advanced tremendously (especially in the $400 retail range) and I think many will find better value elsewhere. Samsung Galaxy
Samsung Galaxy (stylized as Samsung GALAXY or SAMSUNG Galaxy) is a series of mobile computing devices designed, manufactured and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The product line includes the Galaxy S series of high-end smartphones, the Galaxy Tab series of tablets, the Galaxy Note series of tablets and phablets with the added functionality of a stylus and the first version of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, with later versions dropping the Galaxy branding.
Samsung Galaxy devices have traditionally used the Android operating system produced by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google, usually with a custom user interface called TouchWiz. A galaxy is a gravitationally bound system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter. The word galaxy is derived from the Greek galaxias (γαλαξίας), literally "milky", a reference to the Milky Way. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ (Plus) represent the most advanced Android smartphones on the market. The Galaxy S8 is not without it's quirks... It's got an unusual aspect ratio, lower than maximum screen resolution out of the box and no real enhancement to battery life (from the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge). That said the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are some of the more comfortable phones I've held. The change in aspect ratio give you a slender phone which still packs an enormous screen. The Galaxy S8 Plus has a 6.2-inch display and feels smaller in the hand than most 5.5-inch phones (including the iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel XL). The Samsung Galaxy S8 is likely the "screen champ" right now as well, with an amazing AMOLED panel and resolution up to 2,960 x 1,440 pixels. You will not be disappointed with the Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Still, the world of Android smartphones has advanced tremendously (especially in the $400 retail range) and I think many will find better value elsewhere. So what do you think, is the Samsung Galaxy S8 worth it's premium price tag?

Maui has many single lane roads - particularly on the Road to Hana. Let faster traffic pass
Maui has lots of great hiking, but bring mosquito repellent. Seriously.
Snorkeling in Maui is better close to shore. Don't do the afternoon cheap snorkel excursions, it's too windy.
Clothing: Barefoot can be hot! Bring good sandals or shoes.
Petty crime: Hide all your valuables in your car. Or better yet.. don't leave any in the car.

The two Lily Pad characters, Willie and Dee, are on a mission to save their town. Their town has been dry for years, and crops and food are running out. They need to bring back enough food to save the town from starving. Legends say that there is a magical river where you can find endless fruit; with one bite of this fruit, you are nourished for months.
Willie and Dee travel on their lily pad along the magical river. Their job is to collect as much fruit as they can to bring back home. Help guide them through the river, collecting all the fruit possible, but watch out for logs, animals and other challenges along the way.
GAME DESCRIPTION - CONTROLS & MECHANICS:
Lily Pad is a game uniquely focused on storytelling. When you’re playing the game, there is an emotional connection with the story, and with Willie and Dee; you are invested in their success!
As you put on the headset, you will be immersed into a cinematic introduction with the backstory told for the Lily Pad game. As you begin playing the game, your job is to help the two main characters, Willie and Dee, collect as much fruit as possible as they travel on their lily pad. As Willie and Dee travel down the river, you’ll be able to swipe forward using the trackpad on the Samsung Gear VR to navigate, and tap to shoot down the fruit.
There are 4 levels in the Lily Pad game, with each level having a different theme. You will encounter different animals and experiences in each level. The animation will be unique according to how Willie and Dee catch the fruit, how you shoot at the fruit, how you shoot to free up logs, and how you interact with the environment. Combined, this variety has enhanced the entertainment factor.
