NARADA MUNI is exalted in Vedic texts as one of the twelve mahajanas, or great authorities on eternal truth. Details of his life and teachings are recounted in the Narada Purana, the Padma Purana, and throughout Srimad-Bhagavatam. So advanced is his level of spirituality that in these texts he is even sometimes called "Bhagavan," a term usually reserved for the Supreme Lord, and in the Bhagavad-gita (10.26) Lord Krsna Himself says, "Of the sages among the demigods, I am Narada."
As a preeminent representative of God, Narada Muni is often considered the original spiritual master. Srila Prabhupada states in his commentary to the Srimad-Bhagavatam (6.5.22), "The immediate spiritual master is the representative of Narada Muni; there is no difference between the instructions of Narada Muni and those of the present spiritual master." Prabhupada further refers to Narada as "the father of devotional service." (6.16.26)
ISKCON devotees know Narada Muni as "the eternal spiritual spaceman," because he is described throughout the Vedic literature as a transcendental mystic who received from Krsna the ability to traverse the cosmos, delivering the Hare Krsna maha-mantra to sincere souls and instigating advancement on the spiritual path."Instigating" may seem the wrong word to describe a celestial sage, but Narada is famous for pushing people to the limit, forcing them to make decisions that enable them to advance in Krsna consciousness.Narada also serves as an instigator in Lord Krsna's pastimes. One example occurs around the time of Krsna's birth. When the demon Kamsa hears a voice from the sky, telling him that Devaki's eighth child (Krsna) will kill him, it is Narada who instills Kamsa with fear that any of Devaki's children might be his enemy. Narada thereby persuades Kamsa to kill all of Devaki's children. Narada does this to accelerate Krsna's appearance and enhance Kamsa's reputation as a demon, causing Krsna to eventually kill him and establish righteousness in society. (This was all done under the Lord's mysterious internal potency. Later, Lord Krsna brought the children back to life.) Another example of Narada's instigative powers is seen in his exchange with Princess Rukmini, to whom he elaborately describes Krsna's unsurpassed beauty and superlative qualities. Upon hearing Narada's description, Rukmini becomes infatuated with Krsna, giving her heart to Him in total surrender. She is thus unable to marry Sisupala, to whom she was promised. Narada's "meddling" leads to the unfolding of an important episode in Krsna's manifest pastimes: Sisupala is humbled, and Krsna kidnaps and marries Rukmini. In the fulfillment of her heart's desire, Rukmini serves Krsna as His loving wife in the spiritual realm. In yet another important episode, Narada chides Vyasadeva for not getting at the essence of Vedic knowledge in compiling the Vedic literature. Narada tells Vyasadeva that the remedy is to describe in his writing the name, form, fame, and pastimes of Krsna. Vyasadeva does so, the result being the Srimad-Bhagavatam, the cream of ancient India's scriptural legacy.

Narada
Narada (Sanskrit: नारद, Nārada, possibly derived from "năra", meaning man) is a Vedic sage who plays a prominent role in a number of Hindu texts, notably the Ramayana and the Bhagavata Purana. Narada is arguably ancient India's most travelled sage with the ability to visit distant worlds and realms (Sanskrit lokas). He is depicted carrying a khartal and Veena with the name Mahathi and is generally regarded as one of the great masters of the ancient musical instrument. This instrument is known by the name "mahathi" which he uses to accompany his singing of hymns, prayers and mantras as an act of devotion to Lord Vishnu. Narada is described as both wise and mischievous, creating some of Vedic literature's more humorous tales. Vaishnav enthusiasts depict him as a pure, elevated soul who glorifies Vishnu through his devotional songs, singing the names Hari and Narayana, and therein demonstrating bhakti yoga. The Narada Bhakti Sutra is attributed to him.
Narada is also said to have orated the maxims of the Nāradasmṛti (100 BC – 400 CE), which has been called the "juridical text par excellence" and represents the only Dharmaśāstra text which deals solely with juridical matters and ignoring those of righteous conduct and penance.

Bhagavata Purana
The Bhāgavata Purāṇa (Devanagari: भागवतपुराण) is one of eighteen Maha (Sanskrit: 'great') Puranic texts of Hinduism. Composed in Sanskrit and available in almost all regional Indian languages, it promotes Bhakti (emotional loving devotion) to Supreme God Vishnu (Narayana) in the incarnation of Krishna.
The Bhagavata Purana, like other Puranas, discusses a wide range of topics, including cosmology, genealogy, geography, mythology, legends, music, dance, yoga practice and culture. The Purana opens its Samudra Manthan legend as a war between good gods and evil demons, where evil has won and rules the universe. Truth re-emerges because of the Lila (play) of god Vishnu – as Krishna, Hari, Vasudeva in the text – whose strategy is to first make peace with the demons, understand them, then creatively defeat the evil, bringing back hope, justice, freedom and good; this underlying cyclic theme appears in many legends. The text is a synthesis of Bhakti to Krishna with the Advaita (monism) philosophy of Shankara, conceptualizing a form of Dharma that competes with that in the Vedas, wherein Bhakti ultimately leads to Self-knowledge, Moksha (salvation) and bliss. However, the Bhagavata Purana asserts that the inner nature and outer form of Bhagavan Krishna is the Vedas, and this is what rescues the earth when it gets submerged in cosmic waters.

Sovan Chatterjee
Sovan Chatterjee (born 7 July 1964) is an Indian politician belonging to the All India Trinamool Congress. He is the current Mayor of the city of Kolkata, the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. Chatterjee has been a KMC councillor uninterruptedly since 1985.

All India Trinamool Congress
The All India Trinamool Congress (abbreviated AITC, TMC or Trinamool Congress) (Bengali: সর্বভারতীয় তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস) is an Indian regional political party based in West Bengal. Founded on 1 January 1998 as a breakaway faction of the Indian National Congress, the party is led by its founder and current Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee. Prior to the 2014 general election it was the sixth largest party in the Lok Sabha with 19 seats; following that election, it is currently the fourth largest party in the Lok Sabha with 34 seats.
On 18 September 2012, TMC Chief, Mamata Banerjee, announced her decision to withdraw support to the UPA after the TMC's demands to undo government-instituted changes including FDI in retail, increase in the price of diesel and limiting the number of subsidised cooking gas cylinders for households, were not met.
Formation of the party
After remaining with the INC for over 2 decades, Mamata Banerjee formed her own party, the "Trinamool Congress", which was registered with the Election Commission of India during mid-December 1997. The Election Commission allotted to the party an exclusive symbol of Jora Ghas Phul.

Growing as a normal young man, Annamayya (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is in love with his 2 cousins Timakka and Akkalamma (Ramya Krishnan and Kasturi) and thinks that his cousins are the most beautiful creations of god. Lord Vishnu appears in front of Annamayya in disguise and accepts a challenge from him to show someone more beautiful than his cousins - GOD in the form of Lord Venkateswara in a temple in his village. Upon discovering the beauty of Lord, Annamayya is lost in a different world and ends up making a pilgrimage to Tirumala Venkateswara Temple without planning or informing his parents. As his find pilgrims enter the holy hills, he is lost and is helped by Goddess Lakshmi herself in the form of an old lady by informing him that his footwear was preventing his progress. Also weakened by fasting, Annamayya accepts Laddu - a prasadam from the food consecrated by the Lord himself. Upon reaching Tirumala, he is enthralled by the beauty of God and settles there to write and sing hymns in praise of the Lord. Meanwhile, Annamayya's parents get worried regarding Annamayya's whereabouts. Then, the Lord Venkateshwara, hearing the prayers of Lakkavaamba (Annamayya's mother), himself comes in the disguise of a Hunter along with his consorts and tells them that Annamayya lives in Tirumala. Then, Annamayya's parents, cousins, aunt, uncle and his 2 friends come to Tirumala and watch him worship the Lord. When Annamayya is asked to marry his 2 cousins, he refuses saying that his life is dedicated to the service of the Lord and marriage would become a hindrance to it. But, he is then convinced by the Lord himself who has now taken the form of a Brahmin. The Lord personally conducts the wedding of Annamayya with his cousins - Timakka and Akkalamma. After the birth of children, Annamayya settles in Tirumala leaving his children in the care of his parents. Through encounters with the local administrator (Tanikella Bharani), he comes in contact with the ruler of the country - Saluva Narasimha(Mohan Babu) who becomes a fan of his songs and make him the court poet. On hearing a Sringara Sankeertan, the King and Queen (Roja) request that Annamayya sing a sankeertan in their praise as well, something Annamayya rejects as he would sing only for the Lord and not for any human being. Jailed for not heeding to the King, Annamayya invokes Lord in the form of Narashima (human-lion) and to the surprise of the King, jailors and everyone - the iron rods burst into flames and releases Annamayya. Realising that their husband was born for humanity and Lord's service, his wives give up their lives freeing Annamayya of any earthly attachment. Annamayya realizing the divine order takes to writing poems and sankirtans and reaches old age. Priests and Brahmins unhappy with his social inclusion of lower caste people in the temple try to destroy his writings. When Annamayya decides to sacrifice his life because all his works were lost, a significant portion of his work is saved by Lord's grace from the fire. Saluva Narasimha and Annamayya's sons convert his work from palm to copper encriptions thus preserving his works for eternity. On completion and dedication of the work in the temple sanctum sanctorum, the Lord and his consorts appears one last time, in their divine form. The Vedas are, of course, the highest authority. However, Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapuran is like the essence of the Vedic teachings, written by Ved Vyas himself. Knowledge of Vedas and Upanishads is presented in such a blissful manner, with all the Divine pastimes of God and His devotees, that listening to the Bhagwat Katha becomes an experience in itself. Not only does it illuminates our intellect with Divine wisdom, it also moves our heart and fills them with the nectar of Divine love. That is why it is said that this Srimad Bhagavatam or Bhagwat Katha has something that even the Vedas do not have. Shaunakadik asks Sutaji Maharaj, How did he get the Bhagavatam? Sutaji says, he got it from his Guru Shukadev, who got it from his Guru and father Ved Vyas. How did Ved Vyas got to write Bhagavatam? Ved Vyas compiled the Vedas. He also wrote the Mahabharat, 17 Puranas and the Vedant. Having written so much, Ved Vyas was still feeling dissatisfied. In this mode of discontent he sat on the banks of river Sarasvati and started thinking what is the matter. He says, "I am lifting my hands up and screaming, I have given so many instructions to human being in these scriptures, why is it that people's hearts are not getting influenced by it, is it because that I have not described pure Divine love?" He was contemplating over this when Narada Muni came. Ved Vyas shared his problem. Naradji says, "O Ved Vyas, you have written so much. But, you have not described the pure Bhaagavat Dharma. Now, write such a scripture which is beyond Dharma, Artha, Kaam, Moksha." After this Naradji relates his own tale and says that in his previous life he was son of a daasi (maid servant). She was a widow. It was her duty to clean the ashram and do other chores. During Chaturmaas (4 months of monsoon), some sages came to stay in the ashram. It is the tradition that during these four months of monsoon, sages halt at one place. In the meantime, they used to recite God's pastime, give discourses on spiritual topics, etc. Naradji as a child used to sit and hear them and get enchanted by it. Sages were also very happy with Naradji's attentiveness. So, they used to grace him with prasad and seva. He used to eat the remnant of the sage's food which was cleaning his heart. After the 4 months, the sages went away from the ashram while Naradji became more desirous of their association and God's pastimes. Meanwhile, a snake came and bit his mother and she died. After that Naradji took off from the ashram. He had only one desire and that was to meet God. In his quest he went to few holy places and had darshan of Lord Krishna. I was in a state of joy but all of a sudden the lord disappeared. Now, he started going to all holy places in search of Lord Krishna and perform all kinds of austerities. Decades went by but he did not achieve any success. Finally he reached a point when he was all despondent. At that moment there was an akashvani (voice from the sky). God said to him, "Narad! that darshan which you got was given out of special grace, you did not deserve it. It was just to ignite your desire to see the Lord. As yet you are not qualified for the darshan. Spend your life in austerity and then in next life, you will be ever united with me." -

NARADA MUNI is exalted in Vedic texts as one of the twelve mahajanas, or great authorities on eternal truth. Details of his life and teachings are recounted in the Narada Purana, the Padma Purana, and throughout Srimad-Bhagavatam. So advanced is his level of spirituality that in these texts he is even sometimes called "Bhagavan," a term usually reserved for the Supreme Lord, and in the Bhagavad-gita (10.26) Lord Krsna Himself says, "Of the sages among the demigods, I am Narada."
As a preeminent representative of God, Narada Muni is often considered the original spiritual master. Srila Prabhupada states in his commentary to the Srimad-Bhagavatam (6.5.22), "The immediate spiritual master is the representative of Narada Muni; there is no difference between the instructions of Narada Muni and those of the present spiritual master." Prabhupada further refers to Narada as "the father of devotional service." (6.16.26)
ISKCON devotees know Narada Muni as "the eternal spiritual spaceman," because he is described throughout the Vedic literature as a transcendental mystic who received from Krsna the ability to traverse the cosmos, delivering the Hare Krsna maha-mantra to sincere souls and instigating advancement on the spiritual path."Instigating" may seem the wrong word to describe a celestial sage, but Narada is famous for pushing people to the limit, forcing them to make decisions that enable them to advance in Krsna consciousness.Narada also serves as an instigator in Lord Krsna's pastimes. One example occurs around the time of Krsna's birth. When the demon Kamsa hears a voice from the sky, telling him that Devaki's eighth child (Krsna) will kill him, it is Narada who instills Kamsa with fear that any of Devaki's children might be his enemy. Narada thereby persuades Kamsa to kill all of Devaki's children. Narada does this to accelerate Krsna's appearance and enhance Kamsa's reputation as a demon, causing Krsna to eventually kill him and establish righteousness in society. (This was all done under the Lord's mysterious internal potency. Later, Lord Krsna brought the children back to life.) Another example of Narada's instigative powers is seen in his exchange with Princess Rukmini, to whom he elaborately describes Krsna's unsurpassed beauty and superlative qualities. Upon hearing Narada's description, Rukmini becomes infatuated with Krsna, giving her heart to Him in total surrender. She is thus unable to marry Sisupala, to whom she was promised. Narada's "meddling" leads to the unfolding of an important episode in Krsna's manifest pastimes: Sisupala is humbled, and Krsna kidnaps and marries Rukmini. In the fulfillment of her heart's desire, Rukmini serves Krsna as His loving wife in the spiritual realm. In yet another important episode, Narada chides Vyasadeva for not getting at the essence of Vedic knowledge in compiling the Vedic literature. Narada tells Vyasadeva that the remedy is to describe in his writing the name, form, fame, and pastimes of Krsna. Vyasadeva does so, the result being the Srimad-Bhagavatam, the cream of ancient India's scriptural legacy.

Lord Vishnu (Suman) listens to requests from his consort Lakshmi (Bhanupriya) that there weren't many people singing songs in praise of the Lord in Telugu language. In response, the Lord sends Nandaka (His sword) to be born as Annamacharya to a childless couple in Tallapaka village, Kadapa District. Growing as a normal young man, Annamayya (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is in love with his 2 cousins Timakka and Akkalamma (Ramya Krishnan and Kasturi) and thinks that his cousins are the most beautiful creations of god.
Lord Vishnu appears in front of Annamayya in disguise and accepts a challenge from him to show someone more beautiful than his cousins - GOD in the form of Lord Venkateswara in a temple in his village. Upon discovering the beauty of Lord, Annamayya is lost in a different world and ends up making a pilgrimage to Tirumala Venkateswara Temple without planning or informing his parents. As his find pilgrims enter the holy hills, he is lost and is helped by Goddess Lakshmi herself in the form of an old lady by informing him that his footwear was preventing his progress. Also weakened by fasting, Annamayya accepts Laddu - a prasadam from the food consecrated by the Lord himself. Upon reaching Tirumala, he is enthralled by the beauty of God and settles there to write and sing hymns in praise of the Lord.
Meanwhile, Annamayya's parents get worried regarding Annamayya's whereabouts. Then, the Lord Venkateshwara, hearing the prayers of Lakkavaamba (Annamayya's mother), himself comes in the disguise of a Hunter along with his consorts and tells them that Annamayya lives in Tirumala. Then, Annamayya's parents, cousins, aunt, uncle and his 2 friends come to Tirumala and watch him worship the Lord. When Annamayya is asked to marry his 2 cousins, he refuses saying that his life is dedicated to the service of the Lord and marriage would become a hindrance to it. But, he is then convinced by the Lord himself who has now taken the form of a Brahmin. The Lord personally conducts the wedding of Annamayya with his cousins - Timakka and Akkalamma. After the birth of children, Annamayya settles in Tirumala leaving his children in the care of his parents. Through encounters with the local administrator (Tanikella Bharani), he comes in contact with the ruler of the country - Saluva Narasimha(Mohan Babu) who becomes a fan of his songs and make him the court poet. On hearing a Sringara Sankeertan, the King and Queen (Roja) request that Annamayya sing a sankeertan in their praise as well, something Annamayya rejects as he would sing only for the Lord and not for any human being. Jailed for not heeding to the King, Annamayya invokes Lord in the form of Narashima (human-lion) and to the surprise of the King, jailors and everyone - the iron rods burst into flames and releases Annamayya. Realising that their husband was born for humanity and Lord's service, his wives give up their lives freeing Annamayya of any earthly attachment. Annamayya realizing the divine order takes to writing poems and sankirtans and reaches old age. Priests and Brahmins unhappy with his social inclusion of lower caste people in the temple try to destroy his writings. When Annamayya decides to sacrifice his life because all his works were lost, a significant portion of his work is saved by Lord's grace from the fire. Saluva Narasimha and Annamayya's sons convert his work from palm to copper encriptions thus preserving his works for eternity. On completion and dedication of the work in the temple sanctum sanctorum, the Lord and his consorts appears one last time, in their divine form. The Lord grants salvation and Annamayya's soul returns as Nandaka (Sword).

In all the Vedic scripture, the position accorded to the Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapuran or the Bhagwat Katha is exceptional. The Vedas are, of course, the highest authority. However, Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapuran is like the essence of the Vedic teachings, written by Ved Vyas himself. Knowledge of Vedas and Upanishads is presented in such a blissful manner, with all the Divine pastimes of God and His devotees, that listening to the Bhagwat Katha becomes an experience in itself. Not only does it illuminates our intellect with Divine wisdom, it also moves our heart and fills them with the nectar of Divine love. That is why it is said that this Srimad Bhagavatam or Bhagwat Katha has something that even the Vedas do not have.
Shaunakadik asks Sutaji Maharaj, How did he get the Bhagavatam? Sutaji says, he got it from his Guru Shukadev, who got it from his Guru and father Ved Vyas. How did Ved Vyas got to write Bhagavatam? Ved Vyas compiled the Vedas. He also wrote the Mahabharat, 17 Puranas and the Vedant. Having written so much, Ved Vyas was still feeling dissatisfied. In this mode of discontent he sat on the banks of river Sarasvati and started thinking what is the matter. He says, "I am lifting my hands up and screaming, I have given so many instructions to human being in these scriptures, why is it that people's hearts are not getting influenced by it, is it because that I have not described pure Divine love?" He was contemplating over this when Narada Muni came. Ved Vyas shared his problem. Naradji says, "O Ved Vyas, you have written so much. But, you have not described the pure Bhaagavat Dharma. Now, write such a scripture which is beyond Dharma, Artha, Kaam, Moksha."
After this Naradji relates his own tale and says that in his previous life he was son of a daasi (maid servant). She was a widow. It was her duty to clean the ashram and do other chores. During Chaturmaas (4 months of monsoon), some sages came to stay in the ashram. It is the tradition that during these four months of monsoon, sages halt at one place. In the meantime, they used to recite God's pastime, give discourses on spiritual topics, etc. Naradji as a child used to sit and hear them and get enchanted by it. Sages were also very happy with Naradji's attentiveness. So, they used to grace him with prasad and seva. He used to eat the remnant of the sage's food which was cleaning his heart. After the 4 months, the sages went away from the ashram while Naradji became more desirous of their association and God's pastimes. Meanwhile, a snake came and bit his mother and she died. After that Naradji took off from the ashram. He had only one desire and that was to meet God. In his quest he went to few holy places and had darshan of Lord Krishna. I was in a state of joy but all of a sudden the lord disappeared. Now, he started going to all holy places in search of Lord Krishna and perform all kinds of austerities. Decades went by but he did not achieve any success. Finally he reached a point when he was all despondent. At that moment there was an akashvani (voice from the sky). God said to him, "Narad! that darshan which you got was given out of special grace, you did not deserve it. It was just to ignite your desire to see the Lord. As yet you are not qualified for the darshan. Spend your life in austerity and then in next life, you will be ever united with me."
