Vitín Avilés (Mayagüez, Puerto Rico September 30, 1930 – New York, New York, January 1, 2004) was a Puerto Rican singer, who in the 1940s and 1950s often went unnoticed, even though he was among Latin music's five most popular band singers during the period. He sang in Tito Puente's orchestra and was lead vocals on the hit single Ran Kan Kan. He also sang with Tito Rodríguez,Carlos Varela (bandleader), with his own orchestra, and for Charlie Palmieri.
Vitín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɪciːn]) is a small village and municipality in southern Bohemia, having around 250 inhabitants. It is close to famous cities of Hluboká nad Vltavou and České Budějovice.
Vitín is best known for two large pagan Slavic barrow cemeteries dating to early Middle Ages, which are located on a forested hill of Baba, approx. 2 kilometres from the village. Each of the cemeteries contains some 50 to 80 barrows ordered in distinct lines going from the west to the east. The barrows are thought to contain burials of villagers; they are relatively modest, with highest of them having some 5 metres in diameter and 2 metres high.
Though the cemeteries are large, it is not particularly easy to find them in the dense forest at top of Baba hill. People interested in visiting them should contact archaeologists in Prague or České Budějovice for details of the way.

Avilés is a city in Asturias, Spain. Avilés is with Oviedo and Gijón, one of the main towns in the Principality of Asturias.
The town occupies the flattest land in the municipality, in a land that belonged to the sea, surrounded by small promontories, all of them having an altitude of less than 140 metres. Situated in the Avilés estuary, in the Northern Central area of the Asturian coast, west of Peñas Cape, it has a national seaport and is an industrial city. It is close to popular beaches such as Salinas.
The area experiences an oceanic climate, warm summers with both overcast and sunny days. In winter the weather is moderate, with significant rains and wind, although sometimes the cold climate of Asturias results in snowfall at sea level. The temperature is rarely below zero or over 30 °C (86 °F). Summer highs are exceptionally low by Spanish standards due its heavy maritime features and northerly position in the country.
Archaeological excavations have shown that the area was already settled in the upper palaeolithic era.
