Puella Magi Madoka Magica (魔法少女まどか☆マギカ, Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magika, "Magical Girl Madoka Magica") is a Japanese anime television series produced by Shaft and Aniplex. It was directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and written by Gen Urobuchi, with original character designs by Ume Aoki, character design adaptation by Takahiro Kishida, and music by Yuki Kajiura. The story follows a group of female middle school students who choose to become magical girls and must battle surreal enemies called witches. However, they consequently learn of the anguish and perils associated with their newfound roles.
The first ten episodes of the series aired in Japan on TBS and MBS between January and March 2011, while the final two episodes were delayed until April 2011 due to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. A manga adaptation of the series and various spin-off manga series have been published by Houbunsha and licensed in North America by Yen Press. A novelisation by Nitroplus was released in August 2011, and a dedicated magazine, Manga Time Kirara Magica, was launched by Houbunsha in June 2012. A video game for the PlayStation Portable was released in March 2012, with another for PlayStation Vita released in December 2013. A film series has also been produced, consisting of two films recapping the anime series, released in October 2012, and a third film featuring an original story which was released on October 26, 2013. A concept film acting as a trailer for a new project was screened in December 2015.

You can support this channel on: https://www.patreon.com/RCAnime One of the major misconceptions of The Monogatari Series (or any other recent Shaft show for that matter) is that it's been helmed by one director, Akiyuki Shinbo. Problem is, Shinbo isn't the director of any of it. Instead it's work of Tatsuya Oishi and Tomoyuki Itamura. So today let's look at how Oishi and Itamura handle Monogatari in their own ways. Note: a week after I posted this, the people at Wave Motion Cannon posted a much better version of the same idea. Check it out here, as it's more worth your time: http://wavemotioncannon.com/2016/03/21/shinbo-is-dead-a-new-generation-of-shaft/ Credit to Tamerlane for his cool blog. Give him a follow on Twitter if you like his stuff. https://twitter.com/tamerlane420 I contemplated whether I should scrap this short video or not since it's so short, but considering how many people think Shinbo is the mastermind behind Madoka/Monogatari/Everything SHAFT, I decided to release this to educate people rather than be an /a/utist and just call people newfags for being innocently ignorant. (I also wanted to direct people to the Camonte blog in case they have any more questions) I'll try to actuall...

A quick breakdown of a scene from one of my favorite shows, Hidamari Sketch. Channel Update: A short video this time. I was hoping to have something up sooner but my next two videos are more ambitious, so I'm taking my time with them. College is not helping my production schedule either. At the moment I'll be uploading videos as I finish them rather than abiding to any sort of schedule. Thanks for watching!
