Raven Goodwin

Raven Tyshanna Goodwin (born June 24, 1992) is an American actress. She is best known for portraying Teddy Duncan's best friend Ivy Wentz, on the Disney Channel Original Series Good Luck Charlie and as Tangie Cunningham on the Nickelodeon original television series Just Jordan, which starred Lil' JJ. Goodwin first appeared as Annie Marks in the 2001 film Lovely & Amazing and two years later, as Cleo in the 2003 film The Station Agent. She also played the main role of Becca on the ABC Family original series Huge before its cancellation. She is currently playing the role of Niecy Patterson in the BET drama series, Being Mary Jane.

Acting

Goodwin made her film debut in Nicole Holofcener's independent comedy-drama Lovely & Amazing as Annie Marks, Brenda Blethyn's adopted daughter; for the role, Goodwin received an Independent Spirit Award for "Best Debut Performance". In 2003, she appeared in Tom McCarthy's independent comedy-drama The Station Agent. She also attended Old Court Middle School. Recently, Goodwin has been seen on Fox's comedy-drama, Glee. She played one of the girls in Quinn's club and has not been on the show since. She is also best known for the role of Ivy Wentz, the best friend of Teddy Duncan (portrayed by Bridgit Mendler) on the Disney comedy, Good Luck Charlie. Goodwin currently stars in the BET drama series, Being Mary Jane, as Niecy Patterson, Mary Jane's niece who is also a mother.

Hayley Hasselhoff

Hayley Amber Hasselhoff (born August 26, 1992) is an American actress and model. She is known for her role as Amber in the ABC Family original series Huge. She is the younger daughter of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach. Along with her father and her sister, Hasselhoff starred in the short-lived 2010 A&E reality series The Hasselhoffs.

Early life

Hasselhoff was born in Los Angeles, California to parents David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach (née Weissenbach). She has an older sister, Taylor.

Career

Hasselhoff started acting in 1999 when she appeared in her father's TV series Baywatch. She has also starred in the reality television series The Hasselhoffs and in 2010 she played Amber in Huge for 10 episodes.

Hasselhoff has also been modeling as a plus-size model since 2007 when she was 14. She is considered a "plus-size model" as she is a size 14. She has been signed with Wilhelmina Models and as of 2014, is signed with Ford Models. She has walked in shows such as the 2014 British Plus Size Fashion Week, and has modeled for Torrid. She has also been named the ambassador for Pulp Fashion Week in Paris.

Gina Torres

Gina Torres (born April 25, 1969) is an American television and movie actress. She has appeared in many television series, including Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (as Nebula), Xena: Warrior Princess (as Cleopatra), the short-lived Cleopatra 2525, Alias (as Anna Espinosa), Firefly (as Zoe Washburne), Angel (as Jasmine), 24 (as Julia Miliken), Suits (as Jessica Pearson), and The Shield.

She starred in the independent film South of Pico as Carla, and reprised her Firefly role in its feature film sequel Serenity. Currently, she has a main role on the USA Network show Suits as Jessica Pearson. She and real-life husband Laurence Fishburne played a married couple on the NBC television series Hannibal.

Early life

Torres was born at the Flower Fifth Avenue Hospital in Manhattan, the youngest of three children. Her family lived briefly in Washington Heights before moving to The Bronx. Her parents were both of multiracial Cuban descent, and her father worked as a typesetter for La Prensa and The New York Daily News.

Huge (TV series)

Huge is an American drama series that aired on the ABC Family television network. The series is based on the young-adult novel of the same name by Sasha Paley. The hour-long drama series revolves around eight teens sent to a summer weight loss camp called Camp Victory. Winnie Holzman (creator of My So-Called Life) and her daughter Savannah Dooley wrote the plot.

Casting began in January, with production beginning in April 2010. The series premiered on June 28, 2010 at 9 p.m. with 2.53 million viewers. On October 4, 2010 ABC Family announced that Huge was not getting an extra episode order, therefore canceling the show.

Nicole Margaret "Nikki" Blonsky (born November 9, 1988) is an American actress, singer and dancer. She is best known for her role as Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 film Hairspray and as Maggie Baker in the 2008 television movie Queen Sized. She is also known for her starring role in the ABC Family original series Huge.

Personal life

Blonsky was raised in Great Neck, New York, in Nassau County on Long Island. She is the daughter of Karen (née Smeja), a school aide of Czech and Irish descent, and Carl Blonsky, a municipal worker for the village water pollution control district. She began singing at age three and started taking vocal lessons at the age of eight. Blonsky was raised Catholic, although her father is Jewish.

Blonsky attended Great Neck North Middle School, and attended John L. Miller Great Neck North High School for one year. Then she switched to Village School, an alternative high school with only 50 students. After school each day, she would attend the after-school theater program at William A. Shine Great Neck South High School (even though she originally went to school at Great Neck North), where she participated in productions of Les Misérables, Sweeney Todd, Kiss Me, Kate and, in the title role, the opera Carmen. Village School students often participate in after school activities at either North or South, because these activities are limited at the Village School.
