Frank es un camello, que se dedica a la venta de droga con su amigo Tonny. A pesar de que Frank debe algo de dinero a Milo, su proveedor habitual, no le preocupa, ya que se sabe seguro de poder pagarle. Todo se complicará cuando reciba el jugoso encargo de un camello sueco que le promete mucho dinero por un alijo de heroína marrón, ya que Frank será traicionado y la policía lo arrestará.
A pesar de tratarse de una historia de narcotráfico y criminalidad convencional, está contada de una manera muy original, ya que al principio se nos presentan a los protagonistas. Otro detalle bastante significativo es la división de la película en días de la semana. Tuvo dos secuelas que no tuvieron en éxito de la primera (en especial la tercera).
Nicolas Winding Refn es hijo del conocido director de cine danés Anders Refn, y aunque no terminó sus estudios en la prestigiosa Escuela de Cine Danesa, ésta, que fue su primera película obtuvo muchos halagos de la crítica y tuvo un gran éxito de taquilla tanto dentro como fuera de Dinamarca.
En España se estrenó con el título: Pusher, un paseo por el abismo. Y fue uno de los largometrajes incluidos en la muestra "Fiebre Helada" del Festival de Cine de San Sebastián del 2007, en donde se proyectaron diferentes películas de cine nórdico. También se estrenó en Argentina y actualmente está disponible en castellano.

Anders is a name in Scandinavian languages and Fering North Frisian, the equivalent of the Greek Andreas ("manly") and the English Andrew.
In Sweden, Anders has been one of the most common names for many centuries. According to Statistics Sweden, as of December 31, 2002, it ranks 4th among the male names. The great frequency of this name at the point in time (around 1900) when patronymics were converted into family names is the reason why 1 out of every 30 Swedes today are called Andersson.
The name day of Anders in the Scandinavian calendar is November 30, and in the old peasant superstition that day was important for determining what the Christmas weather would be. If it was very cold on November 30, there would be much sleet on Christmas (and vice versa).
In Denmark (but not in Norway or Sweden), Donald Duck's name is Anders And.

Anders Refn
Anders Refn (born 8 April 1944) is a Danish film editor and director.
Biography
Refn graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1969, and has had a career with credits for 72 features and TV series, as well as a 10 shorts and 26 documentaries. Refn has often worked as assistant director and technical director, and worked with Lars von Trier as editor of Breaking the Waves (1996) and Antichrist (2009) and as assistant director of Dancer in the Dark (2000), Dogville (2003), Melancholia, and Nymphomaniac (2013).
Refn in 2004 was awarded an Honorary Bodil Award for his overall achievement in Danish film.
Refn is the father of director Nicolas Winding Refn.

Nicolas Winding Refn
Nicolas Winding Refn (born 29 September 1970) is a Danish film director, screenwriter and producer. He moved to the United States in 1981 and is known for directing the crime dramas Bleeder (1999) and the Pusher films (1996, 2004, 2005), the fictionalised biographical film Bronson (2008), the dramatic adventure film Valhalla Rising (2009), the neo-noir crime film Drive (2011) and the thriller Only God Forgives (2013). In 2008, Refn co-founded the Copenhagen-based production company Space Rocket Nation.
Early life
Winding Refn was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and raised partly in New York, United States. His parents are Danish film director and editor Anders Refn and cinematographer Vibeke Winding. His half-brother is Danish singer Kasper Winding.
Winding Refn has cited viewing The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) as inspiration for his filmmaking career:
He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts but was expelled for throwing a chair into a wall.

Lars von Trier
Lars von Trier (Danish: [lɑːs fʌn ˈtˢʁiːˀɐ]; born Lars Trier; 30 April 1956) is a Danish film director and screenwriter. He is closely associated with the Dogme 95 collective – an avant-garde filmmaking movement – although his own films have taken a variety of approaches. Known as a provocateur, his work has frequently divided critical opinion. Nevertheless, von Trier is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and influential directors in world cinema.
Von Trier began making films at the age of eleven. He periodically suffers from depression, and also from various fears and phobias, including an intense fear of flying. As he quipped in an interview, "basically, I'm afraid of everything in life, except filmmaking." His first publicly released film was the 1977 experimental short The Orchid Gardener and his first feature came seven years later with The Element of Crime (1984). Among many prizes, awards and nominations, he is the recipient of the Palme d'Or (for Dancer in the Dark), the Grand Prix, the Technical Grand Prize (for The Element of Crime) and the Prix du Jury at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ryan Gosling
Ryan Thomas Gosling (born November 12, 1980) is a Canadian actor and musician. He began his career as a child star on the Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse Club (1993–95) and went on to appear in other family entertainment programs including Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1995) and Goosebumps (1996). He starred in the television series Breaker High (1997–98) as Sean Hanlon and Young Hercules (1998–99) as the title role. His first starring role was as a Jewish neo-Nazi in The Believer (2001), and he then built a reputation for starring in independent films such as Murder by Numbers (2002), The Slaughter Rule (2002), and The United States of Leland (2003).

Writer, director, and producer Nicolas Winding Refn was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1970, to Anders Refn, a film director and editor, and Vibeke Winding (née Tuxen), a cinematographer. Just before he turned 11, in 1981, he moved to New York with his parents, where he lived out his teenage years. New York quickly became his city and soon began to shape Nicolas's future.At 17, Nicolas moved back to his native Copenhagen to complete his high-school Education.

Otro detalle bastante significativo es la división de la película en días de la semana. Tuvo dos secuelas que no tuvieron en éxito de la primera (en especial la tercera).
Nicolas Winding Refn es hijo del conocido director de cine danés Anders Refn, y aunque no terminó sus estudios en la prestigiosa Escuela de Cine Danesa, ésta, que fue su primera película obtuvo muchos halagos de la crítica y tuvo un gran éxito de taquilla tanto dentro como fuera de Dinamarca.
En España se estrenó con el título: Pusher, un paseo por el abismo. Y fue uno de los largometrajes incluidos en la muestra "Fiebre Helada" del Festival de Cine de San Sebastián del 2007, en donde se proyectaron diferentes películas de cine nórdico. También se estrenó en Argentina y actualmente está disponible en castellano.

Frank es un camello, que se dedica a la venta de droga con su amigo Tonny. A pesar de que Frank debe algo de dinero a Milo, su proveedor habitual, no le preocupa, ya que se sabe seguro de poder pagarle. Todo se complicará cuando reciba el jugoso encargo de un camello sueco que le promete mucho dinero por un alijo de heroína marrón, ya que Frank será traicionado y la policía lo arrestará.
A pesar de tratarse de una historia de narcotráfico y criminalidad convencional, está contada de una manera muy original, ya que al principio se nos presentan a los protagonistas. Otro detalle bastante significativo es la división de la película en días de la semana. Tuvo dos secuelas que no tuvieron en éxito de la primera (en especial la tercera).

Writer, director, and producer Nicolas Winding Refn was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1970, to Anders Refn, a film director and editor, and Vibeke Winding (née Tuxen), a cinematographer. Just before he turned 11, in 1981, he moved to New York with his parents, where he lived out his teenage years.
