Riteish Deshmukh

Riteish Deshmukh is an Indian film actor, producer and architect. He is known for his work in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He is the son of the late politician Vilasrao Deshmukh and Vaishali Deshmukh.

Deshmukh debuted with K. Vijaya Bhaskar's Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) opposite Genelia D'Souza, but it was not until 2004 that he achieved huge popularity, when he appeared in the commercially successful comedy Masti and the critically acclaimed Bardaasht. His work in Masti was nominated for several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor category.

Since then, Riteish Deshmukh has starred in many commercially successful films such as Kya Kool Hai Hum, Bluffmaster!, Malamaal Weekly, Heyy Babyy, Dhamaal, Housefull, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Housefull 2, Grand Masti and Ek Villain.

In January 2013, Riteish made his debut as an film producer with the Marathi success Balak Palak, directed by Ravi Jadhav. The following year he made his acting debut in Marathi cinema with the action film Lai Bhaari.

Nargis Fakhri

Nargis Fakhri is an American model and actress. She has appeared on America's Next Top Model and made her acting debut with the 2011 Bollywood film Rockstar. She went on to star in the Bollywood films Madras Cafe (2013), Main Tera Hero (2014), and had a supporting role in the Hollywood film Spy (2015).

Early life

Fakhri was born in Queens, New York, the daughter of Marie and Mohammed Fakhri. Her father was Pakistani and her mother is Czech. Her parents divorced when she was six. Her father died when she was young.

Acting career

Fakhri made her Bollywood film debut playing the female lead in Imtiaz Ali's musical romantic drama Rockstar in 2011. Film critic Taran Adarsh wrote, "Nargis is a stunner as far as looks are concerned, but isn't persuasive in poignant moments", however, he praised her on-screen chemistry with co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

She starred opposite John Abraham in Shoojit Sircar's political thriller Madras Cafe (2013). Film critic Saibal Chatterjee said Fakhri "strikes the right notes", whereas Rajeev Masand called her "pleasantly competent". Later that year, she made a special appearance in the action comedy Phata Poster Nikhla Hero to perform the item number "Dhating Naach" with the film's lead actor Shahid Kapoor. Taran Adarsh commented saying Fakhri "sizzles in the dance number, matching steps with Shahid".

Ravi Jadhav

Ravi Jadhav(Marathi: रवि जाधव) is an Indian film personality. Natarang his debut film as director won the 2009 National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi, some of his other films are Balak Palak, produced by Ritesh Deshmukh, and Balgandharva the film that won three national awards at the 59th National Film Awards. His latest hit film is Timepass released in January 2014.His movie Timepass is one of the most successful film in Marathi cinema and was the first Marathi Film to cross the 30 crore mark. It set the benchmark for Marathi cinema and was the highest grossing Marathi film ever till 2014.

Ravi Jadhav also promote new film directors in Marathi Cinema by co-producing and Presenting Marathi Films like REGE directed by debutant director Abhijit Panse and Coffee Aani Barach Kahi directed by debutant director Prakash Kunte

He is one of the most creative Directors in Marathi film Industry. His movie Balak Palak (BP) received critical acclaims and one of the major commercial success in Marathi Cinema.He has directed Tomorrow's Decided a music video for Pentagram an electronic rock band based in Mumbai. He has written lyrics for Saazani a Marathi single sung by Shekhar Ravjiani, and has directed its music video.

Banjo

The banjo is a four-, five- or (occasionally) six-stringed instrument with a thin membrane stretched over a frame or cavity as a resonator, called the head. The membrane, or head, is typically made of plastic, although animal skin is still occasionally but rarely used, and the frame is typically circular. History

There are several theories concerning the origin of the name banjo. It could have come from the Yoruba word or term "Bami jo" which means "dance for me". It may derive from the Kimbundu term mbanza. Some etymologists believe it comes from a dialectal pronunciation of the Portuguese "bandore" or from an early anglicisation of the Spanish word bandurria, though other research suggests that it may come from a West African term for a bamboo stick formerly used for the instrument's neck.
