About Anthony
Anthony Cox is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Birmingham, and a founder member of their new School of Pharmacy. Previously a hospital pharmacist, he also worked as a Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist at the Yellow Card Centre West Midlands.

Anthony’s central research interest is drug safety in clinical therapeutics, in relation to adverse drug reactions (ADRs), pharmacovigilance, medication errors, and the role pharmacists have in the safe use of medicines.

Anthony has appeared on the BBC, and in major UK newspapers, on subjects related to pharmacy or drug safety. He has also worked with other organisations, such as Which?, on consumer reports. He has also contributed to a number of textbooks.
