Weybridge /ˈweɪbrɪdʒ/ is a town by the River Wey in the Elmbridge district of Surrey. It is bounded to the north by the River Thames at the mouth of the Wey, from which it gets its name. It is an outlying suburban town within the Greater London Urban Area. Real estate prices are well above the national average: as of 2008, six of the ten most expensive streets in South East England (defined as the official government region, which excludes Greater London) were in Weybridge.
Weybridge, based on its parish bounds, forms three wards of the United Kingdom or can be divided into the Thames Street and town centre area, the Queens Road area on top of Monument Hill, most of Brooklands and St George's Hill. Within the post town, rather than Weybridge's other boundaries is Oatlands or Oatlands Village.
Weybridge lay within the Elmbridge hundred.
Weybridge appears in Domesday Book of 1086 as Webrige and Webruge held partly by Chertsey Abbey; partly by an Englishman from the abbey; and partly by Herfrid from the conqueror's brother, the Bishop of Bayeux. Its domesday assets were: 6 hides; 1½ ploughs, 32 acres (130,000 m2) of meadow, wood worth 9 hogs. It rendered £4 per year to it feudal system overlords. It was much smaller than today's post town, and about one quarter of the size of neighbouring Walton.
Saint George (Greek: Γεώργιος Georgios; Latin: Georgius; AD 275–281 to 23 April 303), according to legend, was a soldier in the Roman army who later became venerated as a Christian martyr. His parents were Christians of Greek background; his father Gerontius was a Roman army official from Cappadocia and his mother Polychronia was a Christian from Lydda in the Roman province of Syria Palaestina (Palestine). Accounts differ regarding whether George was born in Cappadocia or Syria Palaestina, but agree that he was raised at least partly in Lydda. Saint George became an officer in the Roman army in the Guard of Diocletian, who ordered his death for failing to recant his Christian faith.
In hagiography, Saint George is one of the most venerated saints in the Catholic Church (Latin and Eastern), Anglican, East Syrian, and Miaphysite Churches. He is one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers and is regarded as one of the most prominent military saints, immortalized in the myth of Saint George and the Dragon killing in Beirut, Lebanon. His memorial, Saint George's Day, is traditionally celebrated on the Julian date of 23 April (currently the 6th of May according to the Gregorian Calendar). Many countries, cities, professions and organisations claim Saint George as their patron.
Saint George was a soldier in the Roman army in the 3rd and 4th centuries AD, venerated as a Christian martyr.

St George's Hill is a 964-acre (3.9 km2) private estate in Weybridge, Surrey, United Kingdom. The estate has golf and tennis clubs, as well as approximately 420 houses. Land ownership is divided between homes with gardens, belonging to home owners, and the estate roads and verges belonging to its residents' association. The hill first served as a home and leisure location to celebrities and successful entrepreneurs on its division into lots in the 1910s and 1920s when Walter George Tarrant built its first homes. In a 2007 survey, most roads in the estate showed an average house sale price of over £3,000,000 in the previous 12 months.
In April 1649, common land on the hill was occupied by a movement known as the Diggers, who began to farm there. The Diggers are often regarded as one of the world's first small-scale experiments in socialism and/or communism. The Diggers left the hill following a court case five months later. The occupation has been commemorated by The Land is Ours group, which briefly camped at the summit of the hill in 1995 and 1999.

The Secret Vickers Dispersal Site called Riseholme was built at the height of the second world war, to take some of the production away from the main Brooklands site. It is located off the Seven Hills Road and stretches down to the Byfleet Road. Abandoned in the fifties its past is largely a mystery and Brooklands Museum would love to hear from anyone who worked there, during that time. A few buildings remain as well as the bases of six very large huts.

I took a look at the outside of the Weybridge condo development in Wall, NJ. It is located at 838 State Route 35, Wall Township, NJ 07719. There is a unit, Apt 46, going for $229,000 that is a 1 bed and 1 bath with 846 square footage. There is a washer and dryer, outside balcony, pool and tennis court and the landscaping seems very well managed and looks really nice. There is no garage but lot parking and the units are 1 level (either first or second floor). I've seen a few different units available on Zillow, some 1 bedroom and some 2 bedrooms (these go for around $249,000). The property taxes are $3,766 a year and there is also an HOA fee. I had a university interview in a little town called Farnham down in Surrey the other day so I decided to make a journal of my time there. It was quite a small place and I didn't have very much time before and after my interview but I still had a blast wandering around, the castle was especially cool. I also managed to catch some He For She ambassadors broadcasting for the BBC as they turned the London Eye pink for International Women's Day, that was pretty neat too. Thanks for watching! ♡ My stuff: Twitter: https://twitter.com/EliseCarstairs Instagram: elise_grace_ Also go check out the amazing Smyang Piano who kindly allowed me to use one of his covers in this video!(https://www.youtube.com/user/Fogotish)

On the hard fast train
On the road to gain
Something gets right through to your telling bone
There's a sudden itch
An electric twitch
Sometimes I swear this body's got a mind of its own
This is the naked truth
This is the light
There's only one place left to go
Auberge
You meet a silent type
On a windy trail
With a shiny cloak and an unseen silver dagger
You can talk till you ache
Give yourself one more break
You can tell by the look on his face that it just doesn't matter
This is the naked truth
This is the light
There's only one place left to go
Auberge
Give me a weekend
Give me a way
Don't like what I'm seeing though I hear what you say
Think with a dagger
And you'll die on your knees
Begging for mercy
Singing please mister please
This is the naked truth
This is the light
There's only one place left to go
