The Texas Rangers are investigating if Lampasas Texas Police Department officers and Lampasas County Sheriff's Deputies committed any wrong doing in the arrests of Quinton Cruce and Gage Blackwell on May 25th 2017. This is video from the Mobile Video Recorder, an Officers Bodycam and the woman that was in the vehicle.
Cruce was arrested on charges with Felony Assault on a Public Servant, Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest, Misdemeanor Interference with Public Duties and Driving While Intoxicated. In a sworn statement, Deputy Logan Jones with the Lampasas County Sheriff's Department said Cruce struck him with an elbow and kicked him several times during the arrest and said he only used force to gain control. At least eight strikes to Cruce's head by Jones are visible in the video. Cruce graduated from Copperas Cove High School earlier that day.
Blackwell has been charged with assaulting a public servant, resisting arrest, interfering in public duties, and underage drinking. He is accused of striking of striking the lip of Lampasas Police Officer Joshua Watson.
No criminal complaint has been filed against Cruce and Blackwell at the Lampasas County District Attorney's office. Deputy Logan Jones is on paid administrative leave pending the investigation by the Texas Rangers.
Perhaps if everyone had a fuzzy friend it would of ended better.

http://www.vladtv.com - A Seattle man reached a settlement with the city’s police department after a group of cops were caught using excessive force during an unlawful arrest.
According to Seattle Pi, Isaac Ocak was brutally beaten by four cops in 2010. Ocak was driving his girlfriend’s car at the time when police pulled him over in West Seattle’s Westwood Village shopping mall.
After police demanded the then 23-year-old to call his girlfriend to solidify his story, he was was choked and punched in the face several times by the officers. At the time of the arrest, the officers claimed Ocak tried to harm them and was charged with “contempt of cop” and fourth-degree assault.
Dashcam footage proved the SPD wrong and the city dropped the charges. Ocak was awarded $70,000 last month and the men remained on the force. The Seattle native believes the officers aren’t aware or might not even care that they did anything wrong.
“I do not believe the officers involved regret their actions,” Ocak said. “They may feel bad for the consequences they caused the city and how their image looks but they do not regret specifically what they did to me.”
He also says how troubling it is to be reminded everyday by people in his community about the incident.
“Since this event I have tried to move and put it all behind me however it is sometimes difficult when I get called out in my community as ‘the guy that got beat up by the police,” he said.
“It's also difficult to see the same four officers still patrolling my neighborhood and not knowing what could happen if one of them ever detains me and they choose to leave video off.”

FEDERAL HEIGHTS - More information was released Wednesday in what led up to a Federal Heights police officer assaulting a suspect.
Officer Mark Magness pleaded guilty to attempted assault on a man he had just arrested in December. The officer assisting him, officer Dave Romero, told the district attorney's office that he believes "Magness began to lose control when he threw the restraint chair across the book-in area."
Body cam video shows the profanity-laced exchange that led up to the assault Magness admitted to. The suspect is dragged out of the squad car and brought into the intake area. Officer Romero uncuffs the man, grabs him by the neck and screams "Sit down!"
The man then begins to call Magness a name and swings at him. Magness responds with several punches to the man's head and body, despite the man trying to cover up his head with his hands.

Officer Romero told the district attorney's office that Magness has a history of being aggressive with suspects. He said there have been several incidents when Magness physically pushed away from suspects and told "your time is up dealing with this suspect… someone else is going to take over."
He also said Magness had been told that he has anger issues. He said Magness was able to gain control and calm down but that sometimes a Sergeant or other officer would have to step in to get him to relax.
After being cuffed again and put into a restraint chair, Magness repeatedly grabs the suspects head, screams "sit back!" and then shoves the man's head into the back of the chair.
"You didn't mean to swing at me? Cool!" Magness said to the man sarcastically. "I didn't mean to bust your face up either."
Magness continually calls the suspect names and after the man's legs are strapped into the chair, Magness grabs the man's head one last time and yells "ready to relax? Relax!" and then shoves the man's head sideways.
The man would be transported to the hospital for a gash on his chin. He was arrested after allegedly demanding alcohol at a Federal Heights liquor store. The clerk denied the sale because the man was drunk. He allegedly threw a bottle at the clerk who also had to go to the hospital.
In 2009, Magness was charged with official misconduct after a 9Wants to Know investigation. Back then, a man told 9NEWS that Magness dislocated his shoulder after the officer tried to ask him about illegal fireworks. Magness was fined $517.
Magness was terminated on Dec. 29, 2014, according to Federal Heights Police, for violating department policy. His internal affairs investigation was finished before his termination.

Watch as the police use excessive force and language on minors at a pool party in McKinney Texas. The police target only minority children and dehumanize many of these kids. WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area.
“Then he started making up rules to keep us out,” Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post.
A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that’s all they were going to see.
Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “young bitch,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up.
It was after this incident that the cops showed up and “started cursing and yelling at us,” Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above.
“So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,” Thomas said.
When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack.
“So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,” Thomas said.
"I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said.
About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. McKinney Chief of Police Greg Conley said in a press conference that one arrest was made, according to BuzzFeed News.

History
The word "brutality" has several meanings; the sense used here (savage cruelty) was first used in 1633. The term "police brutality" was in use in the American press as early as 1872, when the Chicago Tribune reported on the beating of a civilian under arrest at the Harrison Street Police Station.
The origin of 'modern' policing based on the authority of the nation state is commonly traced back to developments in seventeenth and 18th century France, with modern police departments being established in most nations by the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Haunted
The Haunted is a Swedish heavy metal supergroup from Gothenburg, formed in 1996. The original members were Anders and Jonas Björler, Peter Dolving, Adrian Erlandsson and Patrik Jensen. Both of the Björler brothers and Erlandsson were members of the seminal melodic death metal band At the Gates, a pioneering force in the Swedish death metal scene.
A minority of members, past and present, are from Gothenburg, Sweden; with the exception of Patrik Jensen, who is from Linköping; Per Möller Jensen, who is from Denmark; Adrian Erlandsson, who is from Malmö; and Marco Aro, who is from Finland.
History
The Haunted (1996–1999)
On 27 July 1996, Patrik Jensen co-created the band with Adrian Erlandsson, who had just become an ex-member of his former band, At the Gates, due to the bands' split up the day before. They had made their demo, called Demo '97, in 1997.
The band released their first album, while signed to Earache Records, the self-titled debut The Haunted, in 1998. The album resulted in The Haunted being praised as Newcomer of the Year by several magazines, and the album being called Album of the Year by Terrorizer Magazine. The Haunted made a respectable live reputation staging the Swedish metal scene, as well the international scene, touring the U.K. with Napalm Death.

http://www.vladtv.com - A Seattle man reached a settlement with the city’s police department after a group of cops were caught using excessive force during an unlawful arrest. According to Seattle Pi, Isaac Ocak was brutally beaten by four cops in 2010. Ocak was driving his girlfriend’s car at the time when police pulled him over in West Seattle’s Westwood Village shopping mall. After police demanded the then 23-year-old to call his girlfriend to solidify his story, he was was choked and punched in the face several times by the officers. At the time of the arrest, the officers claimed Ocak tried to harm them and was charged with “contempt of cop” and fourth-degree assault. Dashcam footage proved the SPD wrong and the city dropped the charges. Ocak was awarded $70,000 last month and the men remained on the force. The Seattle native believes the officers aren’t aware or might not even care that they did anything wrong. “I do not believe the officers involved regret their actions,” Ocak said. “They may feel bad for the consequences they caused the city and how their image looks but they do not regret specifically what they did to me.” He also says how troubling it is to be reminded everyday by people in his community about the incident. “Since this event I have tried to move and put it all behind me however it is sometimes difficult when I get called out in my community as ‘the guy that got beat up by the police,” he said. “It's also difficult to see the same four officers still patrolling my neighborhood and not knowing what could happen if one of them ever detains me and they choose to leave video off.” -

Officer Mark Magness pleaded guilty to attempted assault on a man he had just arrested in December. The officer assisting him, officer Dave Romero, told the district attorney's office that he believes "Magness began to lose control when he threw the restraint chair across the book-in area." Body cam video shows the profanity-laced exchange that led up to the assault Magness admitted to. The suspect is dragged out of the squad car and brought into the intake area. Officer Romero uncuffs the man, grabs him by the neck and screams "Sit down!" The man then begins to call Magness a name and swings at him. Officer Romero told the district attorney's office that Magness has a history of being aggressive with suspects. He said there have been several incidents when Magness physically pushed away from suspects and told "your time is up dealing with this suspect… someone else is going to take over." He also said Magness had been told that he has anger issues. He said Magness was able to gain control and calm down but that sometimes a Sergeant or other officer would have to step in to get him to relax. After being cuffed again and put into a restraint chair, Magness repeatedly grabs the suspects head, screams "sit back!" and then shoves the man's head into the back of the chair. "You didn't mean to swing at me? Cool!" Magness said to the man sarcastically. "I didn't mean to bust your face up either." Magness continually calls the suspect names and after the man's legs are strapped into the chair, Magness grabs the man's head one last time and yells "ready to relax? Relax!" and then shoves the man's head sideways. The man would be transported to the hospital for a gash on his chin. He was arrested after allegedly demanding alcohol at a Federal Heights liquor store. The clerk denied the sale because the man was drunk. He allegedly threw a bottle at the clerk who also had to go to the hospital. In 2009, Magness was charged with official misconduct after a 9Wants to Know investigation. Back then, a man told 9NEWS that Magness dislocated his shoulder after the officer tried to ask him about illegal fireworks. Magness was fined $517. Magness was terminated on Dec. 29, 2014, according to Federal Heights Police, for violating department policy. WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area. “Then he started making up rules to keep us out,” Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post. A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that’s all they were going to see. Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “young bitch,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up. It was after this incident that the cops showed up and “started cursing and yelling at us,” Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above. “So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,” Thomas said. When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack. “So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,” Thomas said. "I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said. About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. The Texas Rangers are investigating if Lampasas Texas Police Department officers and Lampasas County Sheriff's Deputies committed any wrong doing in the arrests of Quinton Cruce and Gage Blackwell on May 25th 2017. In a sworn statement, Deputy Logan Jones with the Lampasas County Sheriff's Department said Cruce struck him with an elbow and kicked him several times during the arrest and said he only used force to gain control. At least eight strikes to Cruce's head by Jones are visible in the video. Cruce graduated from Copperas Cove High School earlier that day.
Blackwell has been charged with assaulting a public servant, resisting arrest, interfering in public duties, and underage drinking. He is accused of striking of striking the lip of Lampasas Police Officer Joshua Watson.
No criminal complaint has been filed against Cruce and Blackwell at the Lampasas County District Attorney's office. Deputy Logan Jones is on paid administrative leave pending the investigation by the Texas Rangers.

The Texas Rangers are investigating if Lampasas Texas Police Department officers and Lampasas County Sheriff's Deputies committed any wrong doing in the arrests of Quinton Cruce and Gage Blackwell on May 25th 2017. This is video from the Mobile Video Recorder, an Officers Bodycam and the woman that was in the vehicle.

According to Seattle Pi, Isaac Ocak was brutally beaten by four cops in 2010. Ocak was driving his girlfriend’s car at the time when police pulled him over in West Seattle’s Westwood Village shopping mall.
After police demanded the then 23-year-old to call his girlfriend to solidify his story, he was was choked and punched in the face several times by the officers. At the time of the arrest, the officers claimed Ocak tried to harm them and was charged with “contempt of cop” and fourth-degree assault.
Dashcam footage proved the SPD wrong and the city dropped the charges. Ocak was awarded $70,000 last month and the men remained on the force. The Seattle native believes the officers aren’t aware or might not even care that they did anything wrong.
“I do not believe the officers involved regret their actions,” Ocak said. “They may feel bad for the consequences they caused the city and how their image looks but they do not regret specifically what they did to me.”
He also says how troubling it is to be reminded everyday by people in his community about the incident.
“Since this event I have tried to move and put it all behind me however it is sometimes difficult when I get called out in my community as ‘the guy that got beat up by the police,” he said.
“It's also difficult to see the same four officers still patrolling my neighborhood and not knowing what could happen if one of them ever detains me and they choose to leave video off.”

FEDERAL HEIGHTS - More information was released Wednesday in what led up to a Federal Heights police officer assaulting a suspect.
Officer Mark Magness pleaded guilty to attempted assault on a man he had just arrested in December. The officer assisting him, officer Dave Romero, told the district attorney's office that he believes "Magness began to lose control when he threw the restraint chair across the book-in area."
Body cam video shows the profanity-laced exchange that led up to the assault Magness admitted to. The suspect is dragged out of the squad car and brought into the intake area. Officer Romero uncuffs the man, grabs him by the neck and screams "Sit down!"
The man then begins to call Magness a name and swings at him. Magness responds with several punches to the man's head and body, despite the man trying to cover up his head with his hands.

Officer Romero told the district attorney's office that Magness has a history of being aggressive with suspects. He said there have been several incidents when Magness physically pushed away from suspects and told "your time is up dealing with this suspect… someone else is going to take over."
He also said Magness had been told that he has anger issues. He said Magness was able to gain control and calm down but that sometimes a Sergeant or other officer would have to step in to get him to relax.
After being cuffed again and put into a restraint chair, Magness repeatedly grabs the suspects head, screams "sit back!" and then shoves the man's head into the back of the chair.
"You didn't mean to swing at me? Cool!" Magness said to the man sarcastically. "I didn't mean to bust your face up either."
Magness continually calls the suspect names and after the man's legs are strapped into the chair, Magness grabs the man's head one last time and yells "ready to relax? Relax!" and then shoves the man's head sideways.
The man would be transported to the hospital for a gash on his chin. He was arrested after allegedly demanding alcohol at a Federal Heights liquor store. The clerk denied the sale because the man was drunk. He allegedly threw a bottle at the clerk who also had to go to the hospital.
In 2009, Magness was charged with official misconduct after a 9Wants to Know investigation. Back then, a man told 9NEWS that Magness dislocated his shoulder after the officer tried to ask him about illegal fireworks. Magness was fined $517.
Magness was terminated on Dec. 29, 2014, according to Federal Heights Police, for violating department policy. His internal affairs investigation was finished before his termination.

WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area.
“Then he started making up rules to keep us out,” Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post.
A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that’s all they were going to see.
Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “young bitch,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up.
It was after this incident that the cops showed up and “started cursing and yelling at us,” Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above.
“So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,” Thomas said.
When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack.
“So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,” Thomas said.
"I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said.
About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. McKinney Chief of Police Greg Conley said in a press conference that one arrest was made, according to BuzzFeed News.

Watch as the police use excessive force and language on minors at a pool party in McKinney Texas. The police target only minority children and dehumanize many of these kids. WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area.
“Then he started making up rules to keep us out,” Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post.
A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that’s all they were going to see.
Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “young bitch,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up.
It was after this incident that the cops showed up and “started cursing and yelling at us,” Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above.
“So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,” Thomas said.
When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack.
“So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,” Thomas said.
"I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said.
About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. McKinney Chief of Police Greg Conley said in a press conference that one arrest was made, according to BuzzFeed News.

The Texas Rangers are investigating if Lampasas Texas Police Department officers and Lampasas County Sheriff's Deputies committed any wrong doing in the arrests of Quinton Cruce and Gage Blackwell on May 25th 2017. This is video from the Mobile Video Recorder, an Officers Bodycam and the woman that was in the vehicle. Blackwell has been charged with assaulting a public servant, resisting arrest, interfering in public duties, and underage drinking. He is accused of striking of striking the lip of Lampasas Police Officer Joshua Watson.
No criminal complaint has been filed against Cruce and Blackwell at the Lampasas County District Attorney's office. Deputy Logan Jones is on paid administrative leave pending the investigation by the Texas Rangers.
Perhaps if everyone had a fuzzy friend it would of ended better.

According to Seattle Pi, Isaac Ocak was brutally beaten by four cops in 2010. Ocak was driving his girlfriend’s car at the time when police pulled him over in West Seattle’s Westwood Village shopping mall.
After police demanded the then 23-year-old to call his girlfriend to solidify his story, he was was choked and punched in the face several times by the officers. At the time of the arrest, the officers claimed Ocak tried to harm them and was charged with “contempt of cop” and fourth-degree assault.
Dashcam footage proved the SPD wrong and the city dropped the charges. Ocak was awarded $70,000 last month and the men remained on the force. The Seattle native believes the officers aren’t aware or might not even care that they did anything wrong.
“I do not believe the officers involved regret their actions,” Ocak said. “They may feel bad for the consequences they caused the city and how their image looks but they do not regret specifically what they did to me.”
He also says how troubling it is to be reminded everyday by people in his community about the incident.
“Since this event I have tried to move and put it all behind me however it is sometimes difficult when I get called out in my community as ‘the guy that got beat up by the police,” he said.
“It's also difficult to see the same four officers still patrolling my neighborhood and not knowing what could happen if one of them ever detains me and they choose to leave video off.”

FEDERAL HEIGHTS - More information was released Wednesday in what led up to a Federal Heights police officer assaulting a suspect.
Officer Mark Magness pleaded guilty to attempted assault on a man he had just arrested in December. The officer assisting him, officer Dave Romero, told the district attorney's office that he believes "Magness began to lose control when he threw the restraint chair across the book-in area."
Body cam video shows the profanity-laced exchange that led up to the assault Magness admitted to. The suspect is dragged out of the squad car and brought into the intake area. Officer Romero uncuffs the man, grabs him by the neck and screams "Sit down!"
The man then begins to call Magness a name and swings at him. Magness responds with several punches to the man's head and body, despite the man trying to cover up his head with his hands.

Officer Romero told the district attorney's office that Magness has a history of being aggressive with suspects. He said there have been several incidents when Magness physically pushed away from suspects and told "your time is up dealing with this suspect… someone else is going to take over."
He also said Magness had been told that he has anger issues. He said Magness was able to gain control and calm down but that sometimes a Sergeant or other officer would have to step in to get him to relax.
After being cuffed again and put into a restraint chair, Magness repeatedly grabs the suspects head, screams "sit back!" and then shoves the man's head into the back of the chair.
"You didn't mean to swing at me? Cool!" Magness said to the man sarcastically. "I didn't mean to bust your face up either."
Magness continually calls the suspect names and after the man's legs are strapped into the chair, Magness grabs the man's head one last time and yells "ready to relax? Relax!" and then shoves the man's head sideways.
The man would be transported to the hospital for a gash on his chin. He was arrested after allegedly demanding alcohol at a Federal Heights liquor store. The clerk denied the sale because the man was drunk. He allegedly threw a bottle at the clerk who also had to go to the hospital.
In 2009, Magness was charged with official misconduct after a 9Wants to Know investigation. Back then, a man told 9NEWS that Magness dislocated his shoulder after the officer tried to ask him about illegal fireworks. Magness was fined $517.
Magness was terminated on Dec. 29, 2014, according to Federal Heights Police, for violating department policy. His internal affairs investigation was finished before his termination.

WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area.
“Then he started making up rules to keep us out,” Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post.
A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that’s all they were going to see.
Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “young bitch,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up.
It was after this incident that the cops showed up and “started cursing and yelling at us,” Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above.
“So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,” Thomas said.
When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack.
“So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,” Thomas said.
"I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said.
About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. McKinney Chief of Police Greg Conley said in a press conference that one arrest was made, according to BuzzFeed News.

Euclid police are facing controversy after an altercation was caught on video and posted to social media. According to police, an officer pulled over 25-year-old Richard Hubbard III on E 228th St. just before 10:30 a.m. for "a moving/traffic violation." Hubbard was ordered to exit the car and face away so he could be taken into custody. Police say Hubbard refused, and a violent struggle ensued. In a sworn statement, Deputy Logan Jones with the Lampasas County Sheriff's Department said Cruce struck him with an elbow and kicked him several times during the arrest and said he only used force to gain control. At least eight strikes to Cruce's head by Jones are visible in the video. Cruce graduated from Copperas Cove High School earlier that day.
Blackwell has been charged with assaulting a public servant, resisting arrest, interfering in public duties, and underage drinking. He is accused of striking of striking the lip of Lampasas Police Officer Joshua Watson.
No criminal complaint has been filed against Cruce and Blackwell at the Lampasas County District Attorney's office. Deputy Logan Jones is on paid administrative leave pending the investigation by the Texas Rangers.

The Texas Rangers are investigating if Lampasas Texas Police Department officers and Lampasas County Sheriff's Deputies committed any wrong doing in the arrests of Quinton Cruce and Gage Blackwell on May 25th 2017. This is video from the Mobile Video Recorder, an Officers Bodycam and the woman that was in the vehicle.

On July 14, 2016 In Brenham Texas a police chase begun when Jammie Castillo allegedly stole a car. Officer Richard Bobbitt who was on the Brenham Police force for 6 years initiated the police chase that ended up traveling 60 miles across Three counties until the chase ended near Harris County line. This video is from the Texas Trooper Dash Cam.
After nearly and hour chase Harris County Deputies put spike strips down to deflate the tires of the stolen vehicle.
After the police chase came to an end, you see Officer Bobbitt of the Brenham Police Department getting out of the police car and walking towards the trooper.
In a second video that will be released SOON you will see Officer Bobbitt walk around to the passengers side door and then pulls out Jammie Castillo. Once out of the car Officer Bobbitt hits the Jammie Castillo with his fist several times on her face and head, "probably when you hear Officer Bobbitt yelling 'stop resisting.'"
Now Jammie Castillo is no Angel, searches reveal that she was arrested:
07/2016 - Jammie Castillo in Brenham allegedly stole a vehicle, led police on a chase while under the influence.
On August 01, 2016 Officer Richard Bobbitt was Terminated by the Brenham Police Chief for his actions of beating a 5'05, 130 pound Jammie Castillo in the head and face. After an internal affairs investigation was completed, Officer Bobbitt was found to have used excessive force in his detention and arrest of Jammie Castillo. The investigation showed that Officer Bobbitt unnecessarily struck Castillo multiple times in her face and head after she was removed from the vehicle.
On August 05, 2016 ex-officer Richard Bobbitt appealed his termination to the City of Brenham. He wanted his job back.
On September 08, 2016 The appeal hearing that was going to be heard by City Manager Terry Roberts, was delayed at the last moment from the request from the attorney representing Richard Bobbitt and the attorney hired to represent the City of Brenham.
September 16, 2016 after 8 days of negotiation with Bobbitt's attorney, City Manager Terry Roberts and the Brenham City Counsel went behind closed doors and took a secret vote.
The decision was passed and the City Counsel agreed to allow an abusive police officer, who assaulted a person be allowed to RESIGN and not be terminated as he had been for the past 47 days.
From Brenham police records for 4 years in a row Officer Bobbitt was number one for having the highest "use of force" incidents with the public. Each of those years Officer Bobbitt's incidents of use of force with the public were almost doubled compared to the officer who had the second highest of incidents. One year Officer Bobbitt had 18 incidents of use of force, the second officer had 10.
Also from Brenham police records Officer Bobbitt in 5 years had 3 Internal Investigations on him which included "policy violations, shooting review board and false Identification."
The City of Brenham Texas knew of Bobbitts past abuse of force from police records, yet they did nothing and kept a dangerous cop on the streets.
Brenham Texas where the City of Brenham allows abusive police officers to run the streets and if they get caught doing something illegal. In Brenham they will not terminate a criminal cop, instead the City of Brenham will allow a dangerous police officer to resign and go work elsewhere in another city in Texas.
So if Richard Bobbitt becomes a police officer in your city and Bobbitt hurts or kills you or a family member, we can only blame The City of Brenham, City Manager Terry Roberts and the city council.

Euclid police are facing controversy after an altercation was caught on video and posted to social media.
According to police, an officer pulled over 25-year-old Richard Hubbard III on E 228th St. just before 10:30 a.m. for "a moving/traffic violation." Hubbard was ordered to exit the car and face away so he could be taken into custody. Police say Hubbard refused, and a violent struggle ensued.
Lashaunda Malone, a woman who recorded the incident and posted the video to Facebook. Officers can be seen wrestling Hubbard to the ground and punching him multiple times. The incident lasted more than three minutes.
"He just got out the car, as soon as he got out the car, the officer grabbed him by the throat" Malone said. "It was disturbing."
After the witness' video went viral, Euclid Police released dash camera video of the whole traffic stop. It shows the officer and the driver interacting for nearly two minutes before the struggle begins.
Authorities say Hubbard was medically examined at the Cuyahoga County Jail Euclid Annex. He was charged with driving under suspension and resisting arrest and was released after posting bond.
Those who live in the Euclid community said this latest incident is just a continuation of ongoing police brutality.
"I'm upset," Mary Stewart, who lost her son to an officer-involved shooting, said. "I think it's wrong and I think something should be done about it. We gotta stick together and fight this thing out."
The arresting officer, whose identity is not known at this time, treated and released at a local hospital. He has been placed on paid leave while officials conduct an investigation.
Euclid police released a statement on the arrest, saying in part:
It is the mission of the Euclid Police Department to provide professional and transparent service
to the residents, business owners, and visitors to the City of Euclid. This entire incident
will be reviewed, in detail, so that the public can have a full and open understanding of the series
of events that eventually led to this violent encounter.
