#USWTBT: Today we celebrate Vice President Carol Landry, a long-time activist and seasoned negotiator, who 9 years ago this week became the first Woman on the USW’s International Executive Board. She joined the USW in 1986 while working at Canada’s largest copper mine. After holding almost every position at her local, Carol became USW Staff in 1999, moving on to Assistant to the Director in District 3, and in 2008 was appointed as International Vice President (at Large). Because of her extensive bargaining experience, dedication to our members and commitment to social justice and women’s rights, Vice President Landry is an inspiration to us all. #USWWorks
