Synopsis:
On the beach, a tourist inflates and blows up a whole village in plastic. In this painted and inflated ambiance there is an ersatz in plastics for everything, including sentiments.
On the beach, a passionate love develops, provoking jealousy, venegeance and at the end -- a tragedy. But all this is blown away in one go as soon as a small nail gets involved into the proceedings.

Fischerspooner is an electroclash duo and performance troupe formed in 1998 in New York. The name comes directly from the founders' last names, Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner. Spiking retro electropop tendencies (arguably similar to Kraftwerk, early Depeche Mode, and Gary Numan) Fischerspooner utilizes a modern approach to programming.

#1 is the first full length album by electroclash duo Fischerspooner released in 2001. Originally titled Best Album Ever, the album received a limited run on International Deejay Gigolos Records, and has been re-pressed several times with a different track listing. The title "Fucker" was also censored on subsequent releases.
"Sweetness", "L.A. Song" and "Megacolon" were originally released together on an EP titled #1 Supplement that was discontinued in time for the first re-issue. A limited edition pressing from 2003 also included a DVD with several remixes, a documentary, as well as four videos—"Sweetness", "The 15th" and two versions of "Emerge".

Medical dictionaries define "Lalochezia" as "emotional relief gained by using indecent or vulgar language". To us at Fake Four that's fucking hilarious and oddly beautiful. It's also comically fitting that Ersatz Splynter's rap name means something like "an inferior or non genuine version of a famous mutant rat ninja master". As Ceschi once said on a Myka 9 track "It's funny how fake can be realer than all these lying bastards."
Martin Landin aka Ersatz Splynter of Fresno, California's Roach Collection is a multi-instrumentalist, bilingual math rapper & fan of off kilter British stoner comedy. Some of his songs sound like they could fit on a mixtape next to Kool A.D. while others could slide in comfortably next to a melodic song by WHY?'s Yoni Wolf. Oh…but he raps way faster than those guys and also spits in spanish ….and plays saxophone. Fuck it. For the love of West Coast hip hop, just listen to this kid's album. Ersatz good
An ersatz (German pronunciation: [ɛʀˈzats]) good is a substitute good, usually considered of inferior quality to the good it replaces. It has particular connotations of wartime usage.
Etymology
Ersatz is a German word literally meaning substitute or replacement. Although it is used as an adjective in English, it is a noun in German. In German orthography noun phrases formed are usually represented as a single word, forming compound nouns such as Ersatzteile ("spare parts") or Ersatzspieler ("substitute player"). While the term used in English often implies that the substitution is of unsatisfactory or inferior quality compared with the "real thing", it has both connotations in German, depending on the other noun; e.g. Ersatzteile ("spare parts") is a technical expression without any implication about quality, whereas in other cases it may mean things of poorer quality, e.g. Ersatzkaffee (coffee not made from coffee beans). However some products that originated as Ersatz-x are now more expensive and sought after than the "real thing" even in Germany.
