Erie County is the name of three counties in the United States:
New York is a state in the Northeastern United States and is the United States' 27th-most extensive, fourth-most populous, and seventh-most densely populated state. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border in the Atlantic Ocean with Rhode Island, east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north and Ontario to the west and north. The state of New York, with an estimated 19.8 million residents in 2015, is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City, the state's most populous city and its economic hub.
With an estimated population of nearly 8.5 million in 2014, New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States. The New York City Metropolitan Area is one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. New York City is a global city, exerting a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, its fast pace defining the term New York minute. The home of the United Nations Headquarters, New York City is an important center for international diplomacy and has been described as the cultural and financial capital of the world, as well as the world's most economically powerful city. New York City makes up over 40% of the population of New York State. Two-thirds of the state's population lives in the New York City Metropolitan Area, and nearly 40% live on Long Island. Both the state and New York City were named for the 17th century Duke of York, future King James II of England. The next four most populous cities in the state are Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, and Syracuse, while the state capital is Albany.
A county, abbreviated Cnty. (US) or Co. (UK and Ireland), is a geographical region of a country used for administrative or other purposes, in certain modern nations. The term is derived from the Old French conté or cunté denoting a jurisdiction under the sovereignty of a count (earl) or a viscount. The modern French is comté, and its equivalents in other languages are contea, contado, comtat, condado, Grafschaft, graafschap, Gau, etc. (cf. conte, comte, conde, Graf).
When the Normans conquered England, they brought the term with them. The Saxons had already established the districts that became the historic counties of England, calling them shires (many county names derive from the name of the county town with the word "shire" added on: for example, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire). The Vikings introduced the term earl (from Old Norse, jarl) to the British Isles. Thus, "earl" and "earldom" were taken as equivalent to the continental use of "count" and "county". So the later-imported term became a synonym for the native English word scir ([ʃiːr]) or, in Modern English, shire. Since a shire was an administrative division of the kingdom, the term "county" evolved to designate an administrative division of national government in most modern uses.
Erie /ˈɪəri/ is a city located in northwestern Pennsylvania, United States. Named for the lake and the Native American tribe that resided along its southern shore, Erie is the state's fourth-largest city (after Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Allentown), with a population of 102,000. It was the third-largest city in the state until 1999. It is the 2nd largest city in Western Pennsylvania (after Pittsburgh). Erie's Metropolitan Area consists of approximately 280,000 residents and an Urbanized Area population of approximately 195,000. The city is the seat of government for Erie County and the principal city of the Erie, PA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Erie is near Buffalo, New York, Cleveland, Ohio, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Once teeming with heavy industry, Erie's manufacturing sector remains prominent in the local economy, though service industries, healthcare, higher education, and tourism are emerging as greater economic drivers. Millions visit Erie for recreation at Presque Isle State Park, as well as attractions like the casino and horse racetrack named for the state park.

Erie County Sheriff's Department has a new k9 to assist investigators in criminal fire cases. Axe, a two-year old mixed lab reports to duty with his badge everyday. Axe is one of less than 20 dogs in New York who are trained to locate accelerants purposely used to start fires. Veteran Erie County Detective, Scott Kuhlmey is Axe's partner. They recently completed an eight week course at the New York Fire Training Academy. Axe was rescued from a shelter in the Albany area. He can now go to the scene of a fire, determine if an accelerant was used, and locate where on the property it was used. Axe is a tool who will be available to all fire departments in Erie County and across the state, if there are suspected arson fires.

I don't claim to be a great driver and I do a couple of small things I shouldn't have, so just know that ahead of time before you criticize me on my driving. So I went to Steak N' Shake to get food and they took forever with my order and it started downpouring. Once I got the food I went south on 250 to get out of the storm until it was through. I was just past Fox Rd. when my phone gave me a loud notification, telling me there was a tornado warning. Then I thought about it for a second and I was like "I'm gonna get me some tornader sirens!" I was approaching Mason Rd. E and I saw the SRNB there wasn't going yet, but as soon as I pressed record, it went off. I stayed there for the whole 3 minutes and once it wound down, I took off ...

The thouht of you has plagued my years
I see you now
Crawling all over me
Symptom of my darkest fears
With me now
Living inside of me
In the night
As you sleep
the web begins to form
Across your face to suffocate
And kill before the dawn
Arachnid
Strangely drawn towards her lair
certain death ,
she wants to be part of you
Lie in wait my choice of mate
I can't resist she
Bites and devours you
Lift your body
>From the ground
Strech octapoidal limbs
Leave the web
Without a sound
The fantasy begins
Come into the parlour said the spider
to the fly
Not really knowing that the end is
drawing nigh
Making love in ecstacy, the venom she injects
Death is swift,limbs entwined amid
arachnid sex
the scent you spread i know so well
could leave me dead
Hopelessly mesmerised
Your bite will mean the end to me
Can you see i'm
Helplessly hypnotised
Panic stricken
Terrified
Cocooned within the web
Arachnophobic
Misery
Release me from this living nightmare
If i stalk you must
forgive me
For this dance is my
