Comunicaciones Fútbol Club S. A., better known as Communicaciones F.C., based in Guatemala City are one of the most popular and successful soccer clubs in Guatemala. Communicaciones has won 30 National Championships, including having won six consecutive titles, the most of any Guatemalan club team.

Comunicaciones origins date back to the 1920s to previous incarnations as Hospicio FC and España. Club Comunicaciones is formed in 1949 after Colonel Carlos Aldana Sandoval, then Minister of Telegraphs and Communications, takes charge of the team and renames it to Comunicaciones (Communications).

Comunicaciones plays its home games at the Estadio Cementos Progreso with capacity for 17,022 spectators. In addition to its 30 league titles, Communicaciones has won eight league Cups and ten Supercups. While on the international level Communicaciones has garnered 2 UNCAF Interclub Cups and one CONCACAF Championships Cup title.

The color that identifies the club is white, which began using in his uniform shortly after its foundation, note that initially uniform Club was Cream. The historic arch-rival CSD Municipal is the team against which dispute the so-called Classic Chapin and this meeting the highest rivalry in football in Guatemala .
