Christopher Hamill (born 19 December 1958), better known by his stage name Limahl (an anagram of Hamill), is an English pop singer. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the 1980s pop group Kajagoogoo, before embarking on a briefly successful solo career, which reached its peak with the 1984 hit "The NeverEnding Story", the theme song for the film of the same name.
Hamill was born in Pemberton, Wigan, Lancashire in north west England to Eric and Cynthia Hamill. He has one sister and two brothers. He attended Abraham Guest High School in Wigan, before eventually enrolling at the Westcliff-on-Sea Palace Theatre Repertory Company.
With aspirations to be an actor, Chris Hamill toured with the company in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In 1980, he was given a small role in an episode of the ITV police series The Gentle Touch. In 1981, he also appeared as an extra in the promotional video for Adam and the Ants' number one UK single "Stand and Deliver".
The Never Ending Tour is the popular name for Bob Dylan's endless touring schedule since June 7, 1988.
During the course of the tour, musicians have come and gone and the band has continued to evolve. They have amassed a huge fan base; some fans have traveled around the world to attend as many Dylan shows as possible.
According to the count maintained by Olof Björner's Dylan website Still On The Road, Dylan played his 2,000th show of the Never Ending Tour on October 16, 2007, in Dayton, Ohio. Dylan has attributed much of the versatility of his live shows to the talent of his backing band, with whom he recorded the albums Love and Theft (2001), Modern Times (2006), Together Through Life (2009), Christmas in the Heart (2009), Tempest (2012) and Shadows in the Night (2015).
The tour's name was cemented when journalist Adrian Deevoy published his interview with Dylan in Q Magazine no.39, December 1989. The critic Michael Gray listened to Deevoy's interview tape, and points out in The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia that though Deevoy's article put the phrase into Dylan's mouth, in fact the label came from Deevoy in the following exchange:
The Neverending Story (German: Die unendliche Geschichte) is a German fantasy novel by Michael Ende that was first published in 1979. The standard English translation, by Ralph Manheim, was first published in 1983. The novel was later adapted into several films.
The book centers on a boy, Bastian Balthazar Bux, neglected by his father after the death of Bastian's mother. In escape from some bullies, Bastian bursts into the antique book store of Carl Conrad Coreander, where he finds his interest held by a book called The Neverending Story. Unable to resist, he steals the book and hides in his school's attic, where he begins to read.
"Only For Love" is the debut single by former Kajagoogoo singer Limahl, following being fired from the group by his bandmates in 1983. The song was featured in the first UK version of Now That's What I Call Music, and later included on Limahl's 1984 debut solo album, Don't Suppose. The song became his first UK Top 20 hit, peaking at No. 16 on the UK Singles Chart. It remains his second most popular single in the UK as a solo act (the first being "The Neverending Story"). The song also reached No. 5 in Switzerland, No. 9 in Austria and No. 51 in the U.S..
Limahl performed the song with Beth Anderson on the TV show American Bandstand on March 9, 1985.
The song also played a part in the singer meeting producer Giorgio Moroder, while he was performing the song at a rock festival in Tokyo the following year. Moroder would help Limahl reach greater international success later in his career.

Once again this love affair
Has got me losing sleep
Cause you and I are going nowhere
You've got me hanging on a string
Every time I say I'm leaving
You've telling me I have no feeling
I'm gonna give you one more chance
Then I'm heading for the door
CHORUS
You better stop
Messing around with my heart
You better stop
Before you tear us apart
You better stop
Messing around with my heart
Before you tear us apart
You must change your attitude
If I decide to stay
Tell me where's the love we entered into
Where is the love we used to make
I cannot go on pretending
The misery is never ending
I'm gonna give you one more chance
Then I'm showing you the door
Repeat CHORUS
(spoken)
Remember it's better to have loved and lost
Then never loved at all
