Scott A. Mosier (born March 5, 1971) is an American film producer, editor, podcaster, writer and actor best known for his work with director Kevin Smith, with whom he co-hosts the weekly podcast, SModcast.
Mosier was born in Vancouver, Washington, and moved around as a child between British Columbia and Washington. He has dual Canadian and American citizenship, as his father was born in Saskatchewan, Canada. As a teenager he resided in Vancouver, in British Columbia.
Mosier met Smith at the Vancouver Film School in Canada. Their first assignment, Mae Day: The Crumbling of a Documentary, was a student film documentary that fell apart in production. To salvage it, Smith and Mosier interviewed the crew about the demise of the very documentary that they had been attempting to produce. They also added a segment in which the two were shown in silhouette as they described their fictional thoughts.
Four months into the eight-month program, Smith decided to drop out, but not before making a deal with Mosier: each would start writing a script of his own, and the one who finished last would help the other with his movie.
Kevin Patrick Smith (born August 2, 1970) is an American filmmaker, actor, comedian and public speaker as well as a comic book writer, author, and podcaster.
He came to prominence with the low-budget comedy Clerks (1994), which he wrote, directed, co-produced, and acted in as the character Silent Bob of stoner duo "Jay & Silent Bob". Jay and Silent Bob have appeared in Smith's follow-up films Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back which were mostly all set in his home state of New Jersey. While not strictly sequential, the films frequently featured crossover plot elements, character references, and a shared canon described by fans as the "View Askewniverse", named after his production company View Askew Productions, which he co-founded with Scott Mosier.
Smith also directed and produced films such as the buddy cop action comedy Cop Out (2010), the horror film Red State (2011), and the horror comedy Tusk (2014), the first film in the True North trilogy.

Scott Mosier talks about A Band Called Death, a documentary he produced which played at both SXSW and LAFF this year, and more recently at the TIFF Lightbox Theatre in Toronto. The documentary is about an incredible and, until recently, undiscovered 1970's punk band from Detroit. Mosier also discusses his other upcoming projects: Milius, Free Birds, and Best Kept Secret.

This is part 1 of the compilation of my favorite actor Scott Mosier. Im being sarcastic, he is not really my favorite actor. He just does cameo acting in the View Askew Productions. These are only the appearances He has done on the View Askewniverse films. It doesn't have the cameos of Drawing Flies, A Better Place nor Vulgar.

Ex-Friends, The live Smodcast, Upcoming Movie Updates, and Brad is a "Bad Guy" After the Senior Discount/Sky Punch and Chuck/Brad updates, Chuck and Brad talk about a new interesting development with one of Chuck's past friends. They go on to talk about their recent trip to New Jersey to see Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier perform a live Smodcast episode. They discuss Boondock Saints 2 (and the very interesting story behind the original Boondock Saints), the South Park movie/Team America as well as the first South Park episode of the season. Brad discusses what he thinks may be a fairly shallow (mental) move, and Chuck questions whether or not he is shallow. The answer? No. He's just usually lucky. I woke up out of bed about an hour ago
I’m wondering why I’m so broke
I’ve nestled on the couch about a week or so
I fill my mind with drink and smoke
Inspiration taunts, I try to get away
Apathy as strong as wine
Thinking I can do it, pick up all my slack
But I can’t seem to find the time
Where did I go now I want to know why
I can’t seem to get ahead
Like it was before
Time spent thinking, I waste away
Chasing my own tail around
Searching for the person I thought I once was
I wonder if he can be found?
How will I know when the time is right to try?
