“PhotoGraphy” is the creation of a process in which the environment, time and light react to each other and generate images on three-dimensional objects. The objects are coated with a “light-sensitive” layer, put in a black box with strategically placed holes, and exposed for 5 to 50 minutes depending on the brightness of the environment. It is a new way to capture a moment in time, no matter whether the image on the object is focused or losing focus – the object will carry the trace of its first moments of experience, its first exposure.

Photography
Photography is the science, art and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film.
Typically, a lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure. With an electronic image sensor, this produces an electrical charge at each pixel, which is electronically processed and stored in a digital image file for subsequent display or processing. The result with photographic emulsion is an invisible latent image, which is later chemically "developed" into a visible image, either negative or positive depending on the purpose of the photographic material and the method of processing. A negative image on film is traditionally used to photographically create a positive image on a paper base, known as a print, either by using an enlarger or by contact printing.

University Project (Jan Willem ter Horst & Jan Riechelmann) This short CG film shows some important steps in the development of photography, starting in Egypt where Ibn al-Haitham created the first camera obscura in the 10th century, which was originally just a dark room with a hole in a window cover. Project by ShiKai Tseng Film by Juriaan Booij “PhotoGraphy” is the creation of a process in which the environment, time and light react to each other and generate images on three-dimensional objects. The objects are coated with a “light-sensitive” layer, put in a black box with strategically placed holes, and exposed for 5 to 50 minutes depending on the brightness of the environment. It is a new way to capture a moment in time, no matter whether the image on the object is focused or losing focus – the object will carry the trace of its first moments of experience, its first exposure.

'Reely and Truly' - a short film on photography (Director's Cut)
‘Reely and Truly’ is a new documentary from director Tyrone Lebon. The 30-minute film is an visual poem on contemporary photographers and their practices. Lebon’s intention is for the film to be a photographic object in itself. It is shot on all available celluloid formats (including 65mm, 35mm, super 16mm, 16mm, and super 8mm). The film has a free structure with an unconventional narrative, taking on the form of a visual poem. This film is part of the ongoing ‘Reely and Truly’ project which will culminate in a book of photographs, texts and films about the practice of over 30 contemporary photographers to be published by DoBeDo in 2015. “PhotoGraphy” is the creation of a process in which the environment, time and light react to each other and generate images on three-dimensional objects. The objects are coated with a “light-sensitive” layer, put in a black box with strategically placed holes, and exposed for 5 to 50 minutes depending on the brightness of the environment. It is a new way to capture a moment in time, no matter whether the image on the object is focused or losing focus – the object will carry the trace of its first moments of experience, its first exposure.

‘Reely and Truly’ is a new documentary from director Tyrone Lebon. The 30-minute film is an visual poem on contemporary photographers and their practices.
Lebon’s intention is for the film to be a photographic object in itself. It is shot on all available celluloid formats (including 65mm, 35mm, super 16mm, 16mm, and super 8mm). The film has a free structure with an unconventional narrative, taking on the form of a visual poem.
This film is part of the ongoing ‘Reely and Truly’ project which will culminate in a book of photographs, texts and films about the practice of over 30 contemporary photographers to be published by DoBeDo in 2015. This 30 minute film is an extended trailer for that project.

Project by ShiKai Tseng Film by Juriaan Booij “PhotoGraphy” is the creation of a process in which the environment, time and light react to each other and generate images on three-dimensional objects. The objects are coated with a “light-sensitive” layer, put in a black box with strategically placed holes, and exposed for 5 to 50 minutes depending on the brightness of the environment. It is a new way to capture a moment in time, no matter whether the image on the object is focused or losing focus – the object will carry the trace of its first moments of experience, its first exposure.

“PhotoGraphy” is the creation of a process in which the environment, time and light react to each other and generate images on three-dimensional objects. The objects are coated with a “light-sensitive” layer, put in a black box with strategically placed holes, and exposed for 5 to 50 minutes depending on the brightness of the environment. It is a new way to capture a moment in time, no matter whether the image on the object is focused or losing focus – the object will carry the trace of its first moments of experience, its first exposure.

Nick Fancher is an experienced photographer of fashion, weddings, and men's and women's lifestyle. In 2007, he founded Shutter-Think Photography, specializing in portrait and fine art photography.
His work has been featured in the international publications Photo District News (PDN) and JPG magazines as well as locally in C Magazine and Columbus Alive. His wedding work has received awards from the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) as well as Bride Magazine and PDN. His art has been featured in ROYGBIV and BoMA galleries.

Lebon’s intention is for the film to be a photographic object in itself. It is shot on all available celluloid formats (including 65mm, 35mm, super 16mm, 16mm, and super 8mm). The film has a free structure with an unconventional narrative, taking on the form of a visual poem.
This film is part of the ongoing ‘Reely and Truly’ project which will culminate in a book of photographs, texts and films about the practice of over 30 contemporary photographers to be published by DoBeDo in 2015. This 30 minute film is an extended trailer for that project.
