The Giants Of Ecuador
In 2013 after heavy storms in Ecuador and Peru, a large female skull was found in the Loja province. The skull was dated by scientists and determined to be approximately 600 years old. The discovery of the skull sparked interest in finding the rest of the remains.
Kentucky Dover Mound
Since the late 19th century there have been many alleged discoveries of skeletal remains from so called giants. Many have been debunked but that still left more than enough separate discoveries to bring about suspicion of their existence. One of the stranger finds took place in Kentucky at the Dover Mound. The Dover Mound is a large Native American burial ground where some of the most strange physical and genetic anomalies have been discovered. One of these anomalies was the skeleton of a 7-foot male Adena man.
The Lovelock Cave
You would think by having Area 51 within your state lines you might just have your fill of the weird but that doesn't seem to be the case for Nevada. 20 miles south of Lovelock, Nevada there are caves that have been caught the eye of the world for over 100 years. The first strange reports from the area came in 1882 from a Native American tribe called the Paiute.
The New York Giants
While the giants we are going to be talking about have no relation to the Eli Manning and his band of Cro-magnon the coincidence is entertaining. In 1871 in the town of Cayuga the local newspaper reported on an archaeological dig that was taking place at the local Native American burial grounds. The dig gained media attention when visitors claimed that they saw giant skeletons being raised from the ground by the archaeologists.
The Giants Of The Caucasus Mountains
The generally uninteresting Caucas mountains have gained attention in recent years because of the alleged cave of giants found in 2008. The interest began in 2008 when a Georgian researcher by the name of Professor Vekua began researching the area. Vekua was a respected paleontologist best known for his work with the Homo Erectus Georgicus at the Dmanisi archaeological site.
Giant Footprints
One of the most cliché and but possibly best forms evidence that suggests the existence of giants are large footprints. There have been so many giant footprints that have been found over the centuries that it has been suggested that giants once walked the earth in large numbers.
One of the most famous giant footprints was found outside of Mpuluzi, South Africa. It was found over 100 years ago by hunter a hunter named Stoffel Coetzee. Locals named it the Footprint of God. The print has been a point of interest to many religious groups who believe that the print belongs to Goliath. The print measure 1.2 meters long.
Around the world, there have been similar footprints that have been found embedded in age-old rocks. In San José, a 2.5-meter footprint was found near a local ranch. In the same city, another 1.5-meter footprint was found on a cliff. Foreign explorers found a footprint twice the size of an average human's foot near a remote Chinese village. While these footprints are not proof that giants exist it does pose a challenging thought about how so many of these human-like impressions have been found around the world.
These have been a just a few discoveries from around the world that suggest that giants once walked among us. While we may never be able to definitively prove the existence of giants until we catch one history has given us plenty of reason to believe that lived and still may live on this earth.

Extremely tall skeletons ranging from 7 feet up to a staggering 18 feet tall have been reportedly uncovered in prehistoric mounds, burial chambers, caves, geometric earthworks, and ancient battlefields. Strange anatomic anomalies such as double rows of teeth, horned skulls, massive jaws that fit over a modern face, and elongated skulls have also been reported.
Many of these discoveries were sent to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., seemingly never to be heard about again. The Smithsonian's own records describe at least 17 giant skeletons in annual reports. The World was completely covered in giants on every continent before and after modern man appeared on the scene. The Proof is everywhere, or was. On every continent, except South America, all (remains) were confiscated and vanished.

Giants are monsters of human appearance but prodigious size and strength common in the mythology and legends of many different cultures. The word giant, coined in 1297, was derived from the Gigantes (Greek: Γίγαντες[1]) of Greek mythology.
In various Indo-European mythologies, gigantic peoples are featured as primeval creatures associated with chaos and the wild nature, and they are frequently in conflict with the gods, be they Olympian, Celtic, Hindu or Norse. Risking injury and incarceration, an environmental activist disrupts the clear-cutting of an ancient redwood grove by sitting on a tiny platform a hundred feet up in the tree canopy. Already three years into the tree-sit when filming begins, AMONG GIANTS blends vérité cinematography with intimate personal reflection to create a vivid picture of life in the trees and the unwavering dedication of the activists.
This film was shot and edited in 2011, and a year later, the tree-sit ended as a victory for the tree-sitters (http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/06/26/18716373.php) As of 2013, negotiations are still underway for the sale of the land, and the exact acreage is still being determined.

Take That
Take That are an English pop group from Manchester, formed in 1990. The group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen. The original line-up also featured Jason Orange and Robbie Williams. Barlow acts as the group's lead singer and primary songwriter, with Owen and Williams initially providing backing vocals and Donald and Orange serving primarily as dancers.
The group have had 28 top 40 singles and 17 top 5 singles in the United Kingdom, 12 of which have reached number 1, as well as having seven number 1 albums. Internationally the band have had 56 number 1 singles and 37 number 1 albums. They have received eight Brit Awards—winning awards for Best British Group and Best British Live Act.
Robbie Williams left the band in 1995 while the four remaining members completed their world tour and released a final single before splitting up in 1996. After filming a 2005 documentary about the group and releasing a new greatest hits album, a four-piece Take That without Williams officially announced a 2006 reunion tour around the UK, entitled The Ultimate Tour. Gemma Fox
Gemma Fox is an English UK garage, R&B and hip hop singer, best known for her 2004 album Messy. The lead single, "Girlfriend's Story", was released in April of that year and featured MC Lyte. The second single, "Gone", featured Juelz Santana. Fox was left her label Polydor Records in August 2004. Fox then signed with Gut Records and released "Might Be"
Fox won a UMA and was nominated for a MOBO Award in 2004.

They Might Be Giants
They Might Be Giants (often abbreviated as TMBG) is an American alternative rock band formed in 1982 by John Flansburgh and John Linnell. During TMBG's early years Flansburgh and Linnell frequently performed as a duo, often accompanied by a drum machine. In the early 1990s, TMBG expanded to include a backing band. The duo's current backing band consists of Marty Beller, Dan Miller, and Danny Weinkauf. The group is best known for an unconventional and experimental style of alternative music. Over their career, they have found success on the modern rock and CMJ charts. More recently they have also found success in children's music, and in theme music for several television programs and films.
TMBG have released 18 studio albums. Flood has been certified platinum and their children's music albums Here Come the ABCs, Here Come the 123s, and Here Comes Science have all been certified gold. The band has won two Grammy Awards, one in 2002 for their song "Boss of Me", which served as the theme to Malcolm in the Middle. They won their second in 2009 for Here Come the 123s. The band has sold over 4 million records.

Risking injury and incarceration, an environmental activist disrupts the clear-cutting of an ancient redwood grove by sitting on a tiny platform a hundred feet up in the tree canopy. Already three years into the tree-sit when filming begins, AMONG GIANTS blends vérité cinematography with intimate personal reflection to create a vivid picture of life in the trees and the unwavering dedication of the activists. This film was shot and edited in 2011, and a year later, the tree-sit ended as a victory for the tree-sitters (http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/06/26/18716373.php) As of 2013, negotiations are still underway for the sale of the land, and the exact acreage is still being determined. In an early section of the video you'll notice soldier robots popping out of paper sheets and folding themselves into three dimensional shapes. This was actually how each robot was made. Rob Shaw created a design with which he could print out paper cut outs of each robot, which would then be folded into the characters. Known for his character animation, Shaw used an all paper set and cast of characters in a combination of techniques to create this robot-ruled Rome. Since the late 19th century there have been many alleged discoveries of skeletal remains from so called giants. Many have been debunked but that still left more than enough separate discoveries to bring about suspicion of their existence. One of the stranger finds took place in Kentucky at the Dover Mound. The Dover Mound is a large Native American burial ground where some of the most strange physical and genetic anomalies have been discovered. One of these anomalies was the skeleton of a 7-foot male Adena man.
The Lovelock Cave
You would think by having Area 51 within your state lines you might just have your fill of the weird but that doesn't seem to be the case for Nevada. 20 miles south of Lovelock, Nevada there are caves that have been caught the eye of the world for over 100 years. The first strange reports from the area came in 1882 from a Native American tribe called the Paiute.

While the giants we are going to be talking about have no relation to the Eli Manning and his band of Cro-magnon the coincidence is entertaining. One of the most cliché and but possibly best forms evidence that suggests the existence of giants are large footprints. There have been so many giant footprints that have been found over the centuries that it has been suggested that giants once walked the earth in large numbers.
One of the most famous giant footprints was found outside of Mpuluzi, South Africa. It was found over 100 years ago by hunter a hunter named Stoffel Coetzee. Locals named it the Footprint of God. The print has been a point of interest to many religious groups who believe that the print belongs to Goliath. The print measure 1.2 meters long.
Around the world, there have been similar footprints that have been found embedded in age-old rocks. In San José, a 2.5-meter footprint was found near a local ranch. In the same city, another 1.5-meter footprint was found on a cliff. Foreign explorers found a footprint twice the size of an average human's foot near a remote Chinese village. While these footprints are not proof that giants exist it does pose a challenging thought about how so many of these human-like impressions have been found around the world.
These have been a just a few discoveries from around the world that suggest that giants once walked among us. While we may never be able to definitively prove the existence of giants until we catch one history has given us plenty of reason to believe that lived and still may live on this earth.

In 2013 after heavy storms in Ecuador and Peru, a large female skull was found in the Loja province. The skull was dated by scientists and determined to be approximately 600 years old. The discovery of the skull sparked interest in finding the rest of the remains.
Kentucky Dover Mound
Since the late 19th century there have been many alleged discoveries of skeletal remains from so called giants. Many have been debunked but that still left more than enough separate discoveries to bring about suspicion of their existence. One of the stranger finds took place in Kentucky at the Dover Mound. Already three years into the tree-sit when filming begins, AMONG GIANTS blends vérité cinematography with intimate personal reflection to create a vivid picture of life in the trees and the unwavering dedication of the activists.
This film was shot and edited in 2011, and a year later, the tree-sit ended as a victory for the tree-sitters (http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/06/26/18716373.php) As of 2013, negotiations are still underway for the sale of the land, and the exact acreage is still being determined.

I wanted to see if it was possible to create a unique type of learning experience for aspiring Motion Designers and filmmakers by documenting the entire process of making this short film. The resulting learning-series comprises 10 Episodes and nearly 11 hours of behind-the-scenes material covering everything from coming up with the initial concept, to editing, to 3D modeling and animation, to choosing and recording VO talent... it's quite possibly the most comprehensive learning series of this nature on the internet.

We've included, for free download, nearly every single project file, asset, audio element, and final visuals used in the making of this piece.

MUSIC BY They Might Be Giants
For this music video, Rob Shaw took his robot minions quite seriously. In an early section of the video you'll notice soldier robots popping out of paper sheets and folding themselves into three dimensional shapes. This was actually how each robot was made. Rob Shaw created a design with which he could print out paper cut outs of each robot, which would then be folded into the characters.
Known for his character animation, Shaw used an all paper set and cast of characters in a combination of techniques to create this robot-ruled Rome. You'll notice that many shots were created using 2D techniques, while others utilized 3D paper puppets.
Rob Shaw's music video for the They Might Be Giants song, "I'm Impressed" won a gold plaque at the Chicago International Film Festival.
