Man charged with alleged Dundee pub stabbing

Police have confirmed a 40-year-old man will appear in court in relation to an alleged Dundee pub stabbing.

The incident in question is said to have taken place on Sunday May 7 within Dundee’s Cutty Sark pub.

Following the alleged assault, a 32-year-old man was transported by ambulance, under police escort, to Ninewells Hospital.

The victim suffered abdominal 
injuries but his condition was not life threatening.

On Monday, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow (Tuesday).”
