Blisland (Cornish: Blyslann) is a village and civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is approximately five miles northeast of Bodmin. According to the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 565. This had increased to 666 at the 2011 census.
The parish is entirely rural in character, the northeast being moorland and the southwest lower lying farmland. The parish is bordered to the north by St Breward parish; to the west by St Mabyn and Helland parishes; to the south by Cardinham, Warleggan, and St Neot parishes; and to the northeast by Altarnun parish.
The hamlets of Bradford, Keybridge, Merry Meeting, Pendrift, Tresarrett and Waterloo are in the parish. Blisland is sometimes said to be the only village in Cornwall with a village green, however Herodsfoot and Talskiddy are others.
The derivation of the placename is unclear - the earliest known form is Bleselonde in 1284. This appears to include the Old English land meaning estate, the first element is however obscure. Ekwall mentions forms such as Bloiston from documents 1177-1198 and suggests that the first element is the same as in Blisland (with -ton as suffix) and that it is the original Celtic name (etym. dub.).Charles Henderson in the Cornish Church Guide mentioned the older form as Bliston, thought to mean Heath-Town. In Domesday Book (1086) the manor is entered as Gluston and so probably it was really Bluston from Anglo-Saxon times to the 12th century, and by 1284 the new 'Blisland' form was adopted.
Lee may refer to:
Li (Chinese: 李; pinyin: Lǐ) is the second most common surname in China, behind only Wang. It is also one of the most common surnames in the world, shared by 93 million people in China, and more than 100 million worldwide. It is the fourth name listed in the Song dynasty classic text Hundred Family Surnames. According to the Sixth National Population Census of the People's Republic of China, Li takes back the number one surname in China with a population of 95,300,000 (7.94%).
The name is pronounced as "Lei" in Cantonese, but is often spelled as Lee in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and many other overseas Chinese communities. In Macau, it is also spelled as Lei. In Indonesia it is commonly spelled as Lie.
The common Korean surname, Lee (also romanized as Yi, Ri, or Rhee), and the Vietnamese surname, Lý, are both derived from Li and are historically written with the same Chinese character, 李. The character also means "plum" or "plum tree".
According to tradition, the Li surname originated from the title Dali held by Gao Yao, a legendary minister of the Xia dynasty, and was originally written with the different character, 理. Laozi (Li Er), the founder of Taoism, was the first historical person known to have the surname and is regarded as the founding ancestor of the surname.
Lee is a given name derived from the English surname Lee (which is ultimately from a placename derived from Old English leah "clearing; meadow"). As the surname of Robert E. Lee (1807-1870), the name became popular in the American South after the Civil War, its popularity peaking in 1900 at rank 39 as a masculine name, and in 1955 at rank 182 as a feminine name. The name's popularity declined steadily in the second half of the 20th century, falling below rank 1000 by 1991 as a feminine name, and to 666 as of 2012 as a masculine name. In the later 20th century, it also gained some popularity in the United Kingdom, peaking among the 20 most popular boys' names during the 1970s to 1980s, but it had fallen out of the top 100 by 2001.
Lee is also a hypocoristic form of the given names Ashley, Beverly, Kimberley, and Leslie (all of which are also derived from English placenames containing -leah as a second element; with the possible exception of Leslie, which may be an anglicization of a Gaelic placename).

Here's another White Cross tune from 1969 or early 1970 recorded live. Michael Sullivan on lead guitar, Jim Pease on drums, Michael Labadie on bass, and Jack Stewart on organ. This was a tune that wasn't actually in our set. It was more of a spontaneous "creation" in response to a visit by half the band to the rented UHaul truck. Unfortunately for Jim this sojourn occurred during a drum solo and he was left to fend for himself for far longer than he or the audience deserved. Anyways, on Michael's return to the building and stage we broke into "Baby Lee" and Sullivan sings about this adventure in the truck. 1969 or early 70. Garage blues at its best and worst.

How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
She could go lower than I ever really thought she could
Face down, ass up
The top of your booty jiggling out your jeans
Baby, pull your pants up
I like it when I see you do it
Better than I've ever seen it done before
A lot of women drop it to the ground
But how low can you go?
Lower than your mama's
Ever seen it in her lifetime
Never would've imagined
Did not even in her right mind
Practice in front of that mirror
Now you doing it on the dance floor
Mad 'cause I can't get with ya
To just show me how to dance
I may not wanna get low
So I post it up kinda like a playa do
But if you come to the crib
Then I might show you girls a thang or two
Yeah, I think you a superstar
With a ass like that, you gotta blow
Before you make it big
There's just one thing I gotta know
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
I could go low, go low, lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
I be like knick-knack patty-whack
Oh, where my kitty cat? Give a dog a bone
How many licks does it takes 'til get to the center
And let a realer nigga take you home?
I could make this show stop
Soon as you hear this flow pop
From A-T-L-A-N-T-A
All the way down to your drop
Put the needle on a record
And I'll make her get lower than a Lamborghini
And if she really getting low
Then I'mma shoot a video and put it all on TV
'Cause I like that French vanilla
And the caramel
But when it comes to chocolate
I know that very well
Asian persuasion, no discrimination
I love how they seem to please us
I wanna taste them butterican pecan
Peanut buttercups like reeses pieces
'Cause I think you a superstar
With a ass like that, you gotta blow
Before you make it big
Well, there's just one thing I gotta know
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
I could go low, go low, lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
Drop it, hit it, dump it, split it
Don't stop, get it, get it
Put it in reverse just to rack it up
Let me put some Luda in it
Show me what you workin' with
I'll show you some of this bank roll
Yeah, you a superstar
There's just one thing I gotta know, so
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
How low can you go? How low can you go?
I could go low, go low, lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
Go low, go low, l-l-lower than you know
