State parks or provincial parks are parks or other protected areas managed at the sub-national level within those nations which use "state" or "province" as a political subdivision. State parks are typically established by a state to preserve a location on account of its natural beauty, historic interest, or recreational potential. There are state parks under the administration of the government of each U.S. state, and of some states of Mexico. The term is also used in Australia, though the distinction between state and national parks there is different. The Canadian equivalent term is provincial park. Similar systems of local government maintained parks exist in other countries, but the terminology varies.
State parks are thus similar to national parks, but under state rather than federal administration. Similarly, local government entities below state level may maintain parks, e.g., regional parks or county parks. In general, state parks are smaller than national parks, with a few exceptions such as the Adirondack Park in New York and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in California.
The Ohio State University, commonly referred to as Ohio State or OSU, is a public research university in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1870, as a land-grant university and ninth university in Ohio with the Morrill Act of 1862, the university was originally known as the Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College. The college began with a focus on training students in various agricultural and mechanical disciplines but was developed into a comprehensive university under the direction of Governor Rutherford B. Hayes and in 1878 the Ohio General Assembly passed a law changing the name to "The Ohio State University". It has since grown into the third largest university campus in the United States. Along with its main campus in Columbus, Ohio State also operates a regional campus system with regional campuses in Lima, Mansfield, Marion, Newark, and Wooster.
The university is also home to an extensive student life program, with over 1,000 student organizations; intercollegiate, club and recreational sports programs; student media organizations and publications, fraternities and sororities; and three active student governments. Ohio State athletic teams compete in Division I (Football Bowl Subdivision for football) of the NCAA and are known as the Ohio State Buckeyes. The university is a member of the Big Ten Conference for the majority of sports. The Ohio State Buckeyes men's ice hockey program competes in the Big Ten Conference, while its women's hockey program competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. In addition, the OSU men's volleyball team is a member of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA). OSU is one of only fourteen universities in the nation that plays Division I FBS football and Division I ice hockey. Alumni and former students have gone on to prominent careers in government, business, science, medicine, education, sports, and entertainment.

A state fair is a competitive and recreational gathering in the United States. It may also refer to:
The Ohio State Fair is one of the largest state fairs in the United States. In 2015, attendance was 982,305, the fair's highest 12-day attendance on record. The event is held in Columbus, Ohio in late July/early August. As estimated in a 2011 economic impact study conducted by Saperstein & Associates, the state fair contributes approximately 68.5 million dollars to the state's economy. "Gird your arteries: It’s Ohio State Fair time". Columbus Dispatch. 2015-07-21. Retrieved 2015-09-18.
From the very first 3-day fair in 1850 in Cincinnati to the 12-day exposition of today (at one time the fair lasted 17 days), the Ohio State Fair has celebrated Ohio's products, its people and their accomplishments for more than 160 years.
In 1846, the Ohio Legislature created the 53-member Ohio State Board of Agriculture. One of the Board's first acts was to establish a District Fair. The resulting 1847 District Fair at Wilmington, Ohio and the 1848 District Fair at Xenia, Ohio were both successful, leading to the planning of a State Fair.

SORRY ABOUT THE VOLUME being low that's how I got it No one will be admitted after the bear steals the bulldozer. An evil business man wants to build a pesticide factory next to an old city park, with secret plans to dump toxic waste in the area. The man’s biggest problem is a local male protester who dresses into a bear costume and does everything he can to prevent this ecological disaster. Meanwhile, different teens with different stories get their lives crossed as they intend to participate in saving the park
Ludington is one of the best - if not the best state park in Michigan. It has one of the largest campgrounds, and perhaps one of the best attractions is the many hiking trails that you can enjoy. The park is in a dunes area, on an isthmus between Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake. http://www.rv-project.com

A quick tour of Silver Springs State Park and campground in Silver Springs/Ocala area in Florida. This state brings creatures "unknown" to these Mid-westerners!
Vogel State Park is one of the oldest in the State of Georgia and one of the most well liked by locals and especially Floridians who flock to this 2,280 foot elevation park to escape the humid summer heat of Florida. It is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the base of Blood Mountain. The park lies in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is one of the richest botanical areas in Georgia. The park covers 233 acres and features 22 acre Lake Trahlyta which was built in the 1930s by the CCC and named after an Indian princess. The lake is available for fishing year round. The park provides 103 tent & RV sites, most with water & electrical hook-ups. There are 4 comfort stations in the campgrounds and 2 dump stations. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boats are available for rent.
Officials at Sleeping Giant State Park issued a warning for Copperhead Snakes on Friday.

In this video, I give you a look at Rock Hound State Park located just south of Deming New Mexico off Interstate 10 Water and electric sites are $14 and dry camping is $10. Great deal considering the beautiful views and large, clean campsites offered. We stayed there in February 2017 and the weather was pretty decent with a few days in the 70's. We did have one windy day that led to a minor dust storm but made for a cool looking sunset. Fall Creek Falls State Park is Tennessee’s largest and most visited state park. Falls Creek Falls drops about 200 feet over several drops into a shallow pool surrounded by high rock walls. In the springtime a lot of water is falling and makes a huge amount of noise. There is a lot of low frequency energy and this recording should be turned up really loud for the full effect. Recorded with a pair of Sound Professional binaural mics (MS-TFB-2) inside a Rode Blimp into a modified Marantz PMD661. Audio from Corsica_S : http://freesound.org/people/Corsica_S/sounds/184731/
