A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said three fire crews were called to the scene about 12.10pm, after a pile-driving crane fell on two cars on Ross Street.

Paramedics assessed the male crane operator at the scene, and a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said nobody had been transported to hospital.

The QFES spokesman said all people were accounted for with no reports of any people trapped in the cars.

An Energex spokeswoman said crews on the scene are "working as quickly as we can" to make the area safe and assess what repairs were needed.
