What causes status check errors

When the status is not available for one or more companies, it is automatically logged and reported by the opt out tool. If there is a technical issue with participating companies that did not report status, we will investigate, and solve the issue as quickly as possible.

Display errors

Possible causes of problems with the display of the opt out tool:

  • JavaScript is not enabled in your browser.
  • Old or unsupported browser. The Consumer Opt Out Page (beta) does not support some older and alternative browsers (including IE 6), and you may experience problems with the display and functionality of the page if you do not upgrade to a currently supported.
