Il film e' attualmente in post produzione. Le riprese del film sono state realizzate grazie al finanziamento dell' Anci e del Dipartimento della gioventù con il contributo della Hatha Ciudad Onlus e del Comune dell'Aquila. Attualmente stiamo cercando il finanziamento necessario per la post produzione (montaggio, mix del suono, correzione colore, doppiaggio, sottotitoli, pubblicità' e promozione), così da dare al film l'importanza e la confezione che merita. Il film racconta, con un approccio visionario, un inferno contemporaneo dove 20 dannati, attori aquilani non professionisti, sono imprigionati mentre una presenza si aggira per la città', silenziosa e ormai abbandonata a sè stessa. Questa presenza e' un Angelo molto umano che a volte consola e a volte e' crudele. E' un angelo consapevole ispirato alle Elegie Duinesi di R. M. Rilke. Nel suo vagare per la citta distrutta, l'angelo ci aiuta ad avere una visione diversa e porta un nuovo sguardo . Il film vuole raccontare il trauma ma anche le possibilità di una nuova visione attraverso la consapevolezza. La popolazione de L'Aquila vive uno stato d'animo particolare e il dramma più profondo e' la presunta normalità che si mantiene a quattro anni dal terremoto, mentre poco o nulla e' stato fatto per la ricostruzione della citta' e del trauma dei suoi abitanti. Tutto cio' non è civile, è infernale. Un film come Mancanza-Inferno e' utile per riflettere su una situazione umana ingiusta. Il film avrà rilevanza internazionale, come tutti i film di Stefano Odoardi, parteciperà ai festival internazionali e uscirà nelle sale cinematografiche indipendenti. ENGLISH VERSION A feature film by Stefano Odoardi Lack-Hell has been shot in L'Aquila, an important Italian city destroyed by an earthquake in 2009. The film has already been shot and it is now in post production. The film has been shot thanks to funding from Anci, Dipartimento della gioventù with the support of Hatha Ciudad Onlus and the Municipality of L'Aquila. Currently we are looking for the necessary funding to complete the post production (editing, sound mix, color correction, dubbing, subtitles, publicity and promotion) giving to the film the importance and packaging it deserves. The film tells, with a visionary approach, about a contemporary Hell where 20 damned, non-professional actors from L'Aquila, are imprisoned while a presence wonders through the city, now silent and abandoned. This presence is a very human angel that sometimes consoles and sometimes is cruel. It's a conscious angel inspired by the Duino Elegies of R. M. Rilke. While wondering through the destroyed city, the angel helps us to have a different vision and brings a new perspective. The film wants to tell about the trauma and at the same time the possibility of a new vision trough the consciousness. The inhabitants of L'Aquila are living in a particular state of mind and the deepest drama is 'the supposed normality' that is there 4 years after the earthquake when nothing or very little has really been done to reconstruct the city and the trauma of its inhabitants: this is not civilized, it is hellish. A film like Lack-Hell is useful to reflect on a human situation that is unfair.
