Today the RCMP released a video that highlights some of the dangers Fentanyl and other opioids pose to first responders and the public. Featuring real life stories of RCMP officers who came into contact with Fentanyl while on duty, it is a sober reminder that anyone can be affected by this drug without even using it.
An increase in overdoses and deaths related to Fentanyl use is spreading across Canada and is one of the reasons the RCMP is choosing to release this video publicly; as a reminder that we all should exercise caution.
“The danger this drug presents to all Canadians cannot be overstated,” says Bob Paulson, RCMP Commissioner. “It’s spreading across the country, leaving a trail of misery and death, and first responders and the public need to know that even being near it can make you sick, or worse.”
Estimated to be 100 times more potent than Morphine, Fentanyl is a highly potent and addictive synthetic opioid which is absorbed into the body very quickly. A lethal dose of pure fentanyl for a typical adult can be as little as two milligrams, or the size of a few grains of table salt.
While Fentanyl has legitimate medicinal uses as a pain reliever, under the supervision of a doctor, it is becoming increasingly available in the illicit drug market in many forms:
· As a patch
· In powder form (alone or mixed with other drugs)
· As a liquid
· In tablet form, which may not be clearly marked as containing Fentanyl
It can be absorbed through the skin and accidental inhalation of airborne powder can also occur if not handled properly.
In the coming days the RCMP will begin to distribute nasally-administered Naloxone to RCMP officers. These Naloxone kits can be used to counteract the effects of Fentanyl on RCMP officers or individuals who are in medical distress due to Fentanyl exposure.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP; French: Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC), literally 'Royal Gendarmerie of Canada'; colloquially known as the Mounties, and internally as 'the Force') is both a federal and a national police force of Canada. The RCMP provides law enforcement at a federal level in Canada, and also on a contract basis to the three territories, eight of Canada's provinces (the RCMP does not provide provincial or municipal policing in either Ontario or Quebec), more than 190 municipalities, 184 aboriginal communities, and three international airports.
Overview
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) was formed in 1920 by the merger of the Royal Northwest Mounted Police (RNWMP, founded in 1873) with the Dominion Police (founded 1868). The former was originally named the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP), and was given the Royal prefix by King Edward VII in 1904. Much of the present day organization's symbolism has been inherited from its days as the NWMP and RNWMP, including the distinctive Red Serge uniform, paramilitary heritage, and mythos as a frontier force. The RCMP/GRC wording is specifically protected under the Trade-marks Act.

Today the RCMP released a video that highlights some of the dangers Fentanyl and other opioids pose to first responders and the public. Featuring real life stories of RCMP officers who came into contact with Fentanyl while on duty, it is a sober reminder that anyone can be affected by this drug without even using it.
An increase in overdoses and deaths related to Fentanyl use is spreading across Canada and is one of the reasons the RCMP is choosing to release this video publicly; as a reminder that we all should exercise caution.
“The danger this drug presents to all Canadians cannot be overstated,” says Bob Paulson, RCMP Commissioner. “It’s spreading across the country, leaving a trail of misery and death, and first responders and the public need to know that even being near it can make you sick, or worse.”
Estimated to be 100 times more potent than Morphine, Fentanyl is a highly potent and addictive synthetic opioid which is absorbed into the body very quickly. A lethal dose of pure fentanyl for a typical adult can be as little as two milligrams, or the size of a few grains of table salt.
While Fentanyl has legitimate medicinal uses as a pain reliever, under the supervision of a doctor, it is becoming increasingly available in the illicit drug market in many forms:
· As a patch
· In powder form (alone or mixed with other drugs)
· As a liquid
· In tablet form, which may not be clearly marked as containing Fentanyl
It can be absorbed through the skin and accidental inhalation of airborne powder can also occur if not handled properly.
In the coming days the RCMP will begin to distribute nasally-administered Naloxone to RCMP officers. These Naloxone kits can be used to counteract the effects of Fentanyl on RCMP officers or individuals who are in medical distress due to Fentanyl exposure.

A Coquitlam RCMP incident involving an elderly couple, where the man is dragged down a set of stairs. Apparently they refused to leave a strata meeting. I am surprised, (considering the RCMP's track record) that they didn't just taser the couple. You decide if you believe the RCMP handled the situation correctly. RCMP & Air-One Police pursuit erratic driver in Coquitlam
RCMP Air-One Police helicopter was following an erratic driver into Coquitlam City. Multiple police vehicles from Coquitlam engaged in the pursuit. The driver pulled into a parking lot off Obelisk Way, and fled from the scene. I might have captured the suspect on my dash camera, as he was walking away from the scene.

Apparently they refused to leave a strata meeting. I am
surprised, (considering the RCMP's track record) that
they didn't just taser the couple.

At what point does Gov say we are not helping and we should stop and re- evaluate.. Answer: NEVER Once Gov gets involved they stay involved no matter how much damage they do.

RCMP Emergency Response Team Raid Crack House Port Coquitlam
Port Coquitlam British Columbia Canada September 29 2016 Copyright E.B. Enterprises The RCMP raided this well known crack house on Grant Ave. Police forcibly removed the front and back doors to gain entry. A front window was also smashed out. Residents in the area, and that where driving by, were applauding the police for their actions.This home is no stranger to local police, as there has been many problems associated with this residents. At least three to eight people were seen taken away by police in handcuffs.

RCMP Forced To Shoot Injured Bear, After Being Struck by Vehicle. Mary Hill Bypass Port Coquitlam
Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada August 23 2016 The bear attempted to cross Mary Hill Bypass, when it was struck by a vehicle travelling eastbound. The driver failed to stop from what witnesses said. Several other motorist did pull over, but their was nothing they could do, to help the bear. The bear had several broken legs, and internal injuries. It tried to crawl off the roadway, but collapsed several times. The bear was in extreme pain, and was slowly dying. RCMP shot the bear, so it wouldn't suffer any longer. As a cameraman, it was very sad to watch the bear suffer. The police officer made the right choice.

RCMP Respond To Shots Being Fired In Port Coquitlam
Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada November 06 2016 A witness who lives in the complex, told me on camera, but wished to be anonymous, said someone had pushed a car out of their garage to work on it. The individuals then started arguing with each other. Another resident who was not happy with all the noise being made, came outside with a gun and fired two shots in the air. Coquitlam RCMP responded to the scene, on Shaftsbury Place, and were able to make contact with the resident who discharged the firearm. He was instructed to exit his home, where police officers took him in custody, without incident. They placed him in handcuffs, and escorted him into a police vehicle. Police are now waiting for a search warrant to enter the residence, to search for other firearms.

The LSPD First Response Modification (LSPDFR) is a police simulation modification (mod) for the PC version of Grand

• Version 4.5 of Microsoft’s .Net Framework
LSPDFR heavily modifies the game far beyond its original purpose or scope. As such, it can conflict with the game
and cause occasional failures and errors. Such errors will not have any lasting effect on the modification or the game,
however they may result in crashes, freezes or the current session becoming unplayable. Note that LSPDFR does
not currently support any form of multiplayer gameplay.
The first public release of LSPDFR lays down a basic framework upon which the modification will be developed. Still,
it contains a number of interesting features - many of which will be easily recognizable by anyone who played its sister
modification, LCPDFR for GTA IV.

and cause occasional failures and errors. Such errors will not have any lasting effect on the modification or the game,
however they may result in crashes, freezes or the current session becoming unplayable. Note that LSPDFR does
not currently support any form of multiplayer gameplay.
The first public release of LSPDFR lays down a basic framework upon which the modification will be developed. Still,
it contains a number of interesting features - many of which will be easily recognizable by anyone who played its sister
modification, LCPDFR for GTA IV.

Several other motorist did pull over, but their was nothing they could do, to help the bear. The bear had several broken legs, and internal injuries. It tried to crawl off the roadway, but collapsed several times. The bear was in extreme pain, and was slowly dying. RCMP shot the bear, so it wouldn't suffer any longer. As a cameraman, it was very sad to watch the bear suffer. The police officer made the right choice.

A witness who lives in the complex, told me on camera, but wished to be anonymous, said someone had pushed a car out of their garage to work on it. The individuals then started arguing with each other. Another resident who was not happy with all the noise being made, came outside with a gun and fired two shots in the air. Coquitlam RCMP responded to the scene, on Shaftsbury Place, and were able to make contact with the resident who discharged the firearm. He was instructed to exit his home, where police officers took him in custody, without incident. They placed him in handcuffs, and escorted him into a police vehicle. Police are now waiting for a search warrant to enter the residence, to search for other firearms.
