The Quantum Technology Laboratory at the University of Queensland is focussed on emulating both natural and engineered quantum systems by using quantum photonics, a proven and flexible architecture for investigating exotic quantum phenomena, to enable new applications from secure communications through to improved metrology. The Laboratory has exntesive quantum photonics facilities, including the world's highest-efficiency entangled photo source, integrated photonic circuits, and highly efficient cryogenic calorimeters that can be used to count individual photons.
