Love

Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection ("I love my mother") to pleasure ("I loved that meal"). It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. It can also be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals.

Non-Western traditions have also distinguished variants or symbioses of these states. This diversity of uses and meanings combined with the complexity of the feelings involved makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states.

Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.

Love may be understood as a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species.

Chris Brown

Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American singer, dancer, rapper and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows from a young age. Having signed with Jive Records in 2004, Brown released his self-titled debut studio album the following year. It peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). With his first single "Run It!" peaking atop the US Billboard Hot 100, Brown became the first male artist as a lead since Diddy in 1997 to have his debut single top the chart. His second album Exclusive (2007) spawned his second Hot 100 number one "Kiss Kiss", in addition to "With You" and "Forever". The album was also certified double platinum by the RIAA.

In 2009, Brown received much media attention after pleading guilty to felony assault of his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna; he was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service. His third album Graffiti was released later that year, and included the top-twenty single "I Can Transform Ya". Brown's fourth album F.A.M.E. (2011) became his first to top the Billboard 200; it spawned the successful singles "Yeah 3x", "Look at Me Now", and "Beautiful People". F.A.M.E. earned Brown his first Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 54th Grammy Awards. His fifth album Fortune was released in 2012. However, after the release of Exclusive, Brown's albums have not been well received commercially or by music critics, with the exception of X, which received a normalized rating of 63. Brown's seventh studio album Royalty was released on December 18, 2015.

Love Ya

"Love Ya" is the debut single released in 2007 by the English soul group Unklejam and the first from their self-titled debut album released in late 2007.

The single was met with positive reviews from critics and received initial radio plays from the likes of Trevor Nelson and Annie Mac, which led to the single being B-listed at BBC Radio 1. "Love Ya" peaked at number fifty-four in the UK Singles Chart.

Wes Felton

Wes Felton (W. Ellington Felton, Dub Ell) is an African-American singer/poet/actor/emcee born and raised in Washington DC.

Personal life

Wes Felton had a very musical upbringing. His father is Hilton C. Felton, a jazz pianist who had performed with George Benson, Grant Green and many others. Wes has a son named Tobias.

Music

Wes Felton started out with a lot of open mic nights. As a teenager he performed on the Lollapalooza tour and at the Apollo Theater. Ellington has been on stage with Mos Def, De La Soul, Meshell Ndegeocello and with his mentor UK Soul legend Omar. He has been crowned “the future folk-soul hero” by Complex Magazine for his vocals on Prince Paul’s Politics of the Business album.

Collaborations

His collaboration with JLaine and TFox under the name Antithesis has so far resulted in two releases on Tasteful Licks. W. E. Felton has also been working with Raheem Devaughn. Together they are The Crossrhodes.

Acting

Felton studied theater for four years at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. In 1999, he starred in the critically acclaimed hip-hop play Rhyme Deferred, performed at the Kennedy Center, the National Black Theatre Festival, and the Nuyorican Poets Café. Ellington had a role in Multitudes of Mercies, a movie that aired on BET worldwide Dec 1, 2005 as a part of World AIDS Day. His most recent film with the Thievery Corporation is called Babylon Central.
